EN voice being great and… definitely worth giving a "accidental" dropkick to Furina. It surprised me that Furina looks almost alike with Miorine Rembran from "The Witch from Mercury"
Hot take here, the voice acting IS really good but it reaaally doesn't sync with the body language especially on her screaming part while traveller were staring at her, feels a bit more shy than bratty.
This is great acting, but I don't feel like it's what was intended. In other VAs she sounds more scared and confused here, but the English VA sounds hostile and lashes out. I love her english voice actor, she does the dramaticism way better than the other languages, but I feel like if you play in English you miss an entire part of her character.
I think as someone who plays dubbed, I love it when there is a VA who (in my opinion) is the best of the bunch. The EN dub Furina is one of those examples
Ok, for me, the yelling parts are a little too "angry"? The voice performance is impeccable tho. JP voice is just shota like, the delivery is better in jp imo.
Furina in a nutshell : "Well I panicked, but then I handled it". I wouldn't be surprised if they reveal Neuvellette as the real hydro archon and Furina is just an oceanid masquerading as the archon. Kinda like the Mandarin from Iron man 3

I won’t lie. I didn’t quit do to me disliking the game. There were a lot of factors. haven’t played Genshin in like a year (I’m not even in Inazuma yet), but pulling for Furina might actually bring me back because this is gold.

While other Furinas focused on capturing the brattiness and the cuteness of Furina, EN Furina captured her posh accent, and the hysterical tone of her confronted by an unexpected result. Her voices cracking is ust perfection.
From the momment they put Rie Takahashi to dub Hu Tao, i was certain jap dub was the way to go. I was proven wrong from the momment i stepped in Fontaine…
