  1. 3:06 now I'm starting to think why Geo constructs stopped appearing for new Geo characters.

    BTW kachina twirly kinda counts although it was made by xilonen however she is also a Geo character so that kinda counts since twirly possibly made of Geo construct

  2. I don't agree with crystalized being interesting thanks to Navia's kit. She uses the garbage reaction available for her in a busted way, she works DESPITE being Geo instead of working thanks to being Geo. They did my beloved geo characters dirty and left them to rot in the dark.

  3. 3:51 while it is true that only she can interact with it, it is false to say that it disappears once she is off-field. It stays regardless of the active character as long as kachina's nightsoul gauge thing still has points.

  4. Physical only exists to make the normal, charge and plunge attacks of characters not intended to be a DPS worse and restrict character kits.
    Sadly, this perspective applies to most problems the game has, they're flaws for the player but they're intentional features from the developer side to squeeze out more money one way or another by restricting gameplay and character kits.

  5. imo, they should add some mechanics with interaction with the status of enemies for physical dmg. for eg, like, you hit an electro charged enemy who was superconducted, when u hit the enemy all other enemies which also have similar status will get similar amt of dmg, supercond + pyro, you hit harder in a way that enemy launched above so it deals fall damage, superconduct + dendro = movement decrease on enemies like they move 0.75x of normal speed.
    As for geo constructs, i think elemental absorption can be great, a char whose skill will make the constructs on field to absorb element they come in contact and then generate buff on the basis of how many constructs have which element: similar to team synergy i.e one absorbs pyro atk increased by 10% if another also more 5%, absorbs hydro hp increased, cryo crit increases, electro er increased and also if anemo contacts the construct the swirl will take place with elemnt which was absorbed acoordingly.
    AS for counter the soln is simple a char with good multipliers, the mechanic is already in the game you just have to implement it correctlu

  6. the biggest no go is literally every gacha is a unfinished beta with 2 hours of story nuggets once a month that milks horny teens for characters that don't even play according to their own lore, played until 1.2 or so pulled for childe and he couldn't even do half the sh1t the game showed us lmao
    but loving the drama about this sorry excuse of a unfinished game hehe

  7. my fav element has been geo since day 1, love geo traveller, hype when i see zhongli has interaction with construct, even hyping myself that they might introduce character that "evolve" with what type of construct is on field…boy i miss how much i hurt myself with this copium every time i see new geo came out

  8. no, Eula's best team is Eula, Raiden, Furina and Mika. Bennett is not that useful aside from his ATK buff because you are taking out the PHysical RES shred from Superconduct.
    I really hope Iansan can be a physical buffer.

  9. I feel like Physical almost has the foundations to work with Shatter if they let Shatter crit and scale more effectively with Atk and Phys DMG.

    That way physical units could've been about freezing opponents, shredding their Phys Res with Superconduct, and then landing a large attack. Electrocharge wouldve been nice additional DoT from an off field support.

  10. Imagine they made a character whose skill acts just like beidou or candace but every time you get a counter you get a bar fill up kind of like BoL aside the counter dmg. I think perfectly timed counters should be made to fill up the bar faster and refreshes the skill then when a charged attack is used it consumes the bar and uses it to amplify the dmg done greatly.

  11. While I love Geo and would like to see Geo constructs expanded upon, I think it's problematic because the mechanics have always been somewhat awkward. Geo constructs break if they overlap a boss hitbox and they auto-break on certain types of terrain (ie, Oceanid fight). Having Geo constructs automatically break makes them far less functional as a foundational mechanic (and IMO, lazy development). I'm reasonably confident that these issues could be addressed. They could almost certainly make it so that the boss hitbox just pushes the construct to a nearby empty space, and making them function on any solid terrain is probably not that much more complicated than adding a flag to support it. But they haven't done so in four years, which makes me skeptical that they will, and which (I think) means that Geo constructs will remain an afterthought.

  12. i love counter attck mechanics. I mained beidou despite hating claymore, but her scaling is so bad compared to recent unit that she is not worth building. i cleared my first spiral abyss using beidou taser, it was so fun then.

  13. I'm very disappointed in myself that I got baited with Emilie. The idea that I skipped Clorinde for what is functionally a pyro-aura maintenance sub DPS who cannot apply pyro herself, nor can she follow her pyro carries into a Chevreuse team, makes me feel stupid. The curse of a cryo main, I suppose – always losing in Genshin. When we finally get a new reverse melt cryo DPS, Emilie will probably have one patch where she's worth using before she gets powercrept by a new unit that does what she does better plus supports the team in other ways.

  14. Having a character that can blow up geo constructs would be impressive, this would make geo traveler meta because of the amount of constructs that bitch can generate. The burst is counted as 4 constructs and the skill deals damage upon disappearing.

    For the physical a solution would be just buffed damage, a way I thought of is using the shatter reaction, recently shatter has gained a buff in damage and it's equal to hyperbloom now, having a character like nilou that turns shatter from em scaling to let's say atk/crit scaling would be very good for the physical archetype
    Another solution would be adding a new element (it's rumored we'll get a new one in 6.0) that adds reactions to physical. For example a quantum element that puts the enemy in a state and after the state ends big reaction damage happens, the more physical damage dealt to the enemy the higher the damage. Or something like quicken which adds extra damage to physical attacks.

    The counter attacks archetype is really hard to fix, we are not in elden ring, enemies do not attack continuously here. And the counter attack 2ould have to take the place of a skill and not be it's own button…
    It would be very situational and niche, genshin does not have the foundation for it.

  15. With all the recent hype around "dynamic fast-paced combat" every game claims to have, geo constructs just won't fit. I personally don't think faster combat is always better, I like more strategic approach, but the majority of kids will disagree.

  16. as the game gets older it really does feel like hoyo is leaving not only one but TWO ENTIRE elements behind, with Geo and Cryo seeing basically nothing new and even losing major parts of their kits in Constructs and Freeze(hoyo makes almost everything nowadays immune to freeze)
    like, if you're going to be ambitious and make a game with 7 elements you gotta stick it through and actually EXPAND on them, not slowly let them fade into the background because they dont do big flashy combos like Melt and Vaporize.

    it would be SO COOL to have a cryo/dendro reaction where you freeze the Cores and then shatter them, similar to Burgeon. it would be AMAZING to allow Dendro to grow on Geo Constructs, making either the construct have a dendro infusion or making it stronger because of the dendro roots.
    THERE ARE SO MANY COOL THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH GEO AND CRYO, AND HOYO IS JUST DROPPING THEM OFF TO THE SIDE WHILE THEY CONTINUE TO FEED HYDRO AND PYRO MAIN DPS HYPERCARRIES

    im cool with them leaning away from constructs in favor of actually giving characters mobility options, but i never once thought they should just completely remove constructs entirely.
    as the game goes on, it really does feel like whoever is in charge of writing the characters and gameplay is losing their creativity in exchange for just making something that sells. which really sucks as someone who has played the game SINCE LAUNCH DAY, i really do love the world they've built and i wish that they would treat it as something amazing instead of as something they can make money off of

  17. Let's be honest geo constructs are made for glitching and climbing big vertical walls under the map or out of bounds relatively quickly
    With geo mc and zhongli you can clip thru walls, albedo your vertical lift if you add venti updraft chiori skill into swap onto kazuha you are getting a lot of vertical movement with minimum movement into the sides
