  1. 2:48:04 Ok, it's very emotional and sweet but at the same time… How long has he been the Chief Justice? Fontaine has made a point of being both more mature and more theatrical. Irl, I can think of a handful of cases in just in today's news where someone sacrificed their life or were willing to. And the guy on the front line of EVERY case in Fontaine (including cases where they can duel for their honor) has never seen someone willing to die for someone or something? Not one other parent that was killed trying to protect their kids? Not one of the Gardes with a sad backstory? Don't the Duelists like Chlorinde risk their lives constantly to defend justice?

This is Genshin, throw a rock in a field and you'll hit someone with a reason to risk their life. Maybe more than one.

If he hasn't seen anyone else by now, he's either not looking, not understanding unless it's spelled out, or his belief in this was eroded.

I still love his character and this entire quest is one of my favorites but I do feel that's either a flaw in his character or a flaw in the writing. Not a groundbreaking one, not even close.

  2. i finished this quest last night and truth be told…i have my suspicions about someone and an odd feeling where this story is going….but even so this quest gave me chills of how dark it got

  3. Thought… what if being a harbinger just connects him to The Knave or Dottore who MIGHT be connected to the serial disappearance case. I mean it's possible base on the incident of Tatarasuna. The two lovers might have been manipulated to result into this. And MAYBE, what ever job Tartaglia is doing now, is connected as well. he just doesn't know it.

again, it's not the first time the guy was told to do something, which results into something else happening that he was never aware of.

  4. Childe probably has something to do with the primordial sea reappearing in Teyvat…that story about him falling into an abyss and his master saying he awakened 'it' can't have been added for no reason.

  5. When you mentioned the sea monsters it threw me back to the world quests ๐Ÿ˜ณ i really hope you do them. Theres some juicy lore in them
Edit: indeed fontaine has mature writing ๐Ÿ˜‚ the mafia, human trafficking (they were gonna sell little girls to nasty grown men from Lyney's story, so pederasts too ๐Ÿคข), substance abuse, thieves (not only the mond girl), murderers

    -Navia's VA killed it
-Vachers death proves genshin is getting DARKER
-I noticed that in this game, nobody really cries. the first time i remember seeing it was when nahida cried over greater lord ruk. much more emotion in this quest. hoyo is finally understanding what people love in the story

  7. 2:27:12 Monsieur Neuvillte sure showed Childe who is the true Hydro DPS in Fontaine ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Jokes aside, actually props for him to attack while Childe is in the middle of his "Magical Girl Transformation"-as I usually joked about, nit following the stereotypical trend is a fresh new thing

  8. Iโ€™m so glad Genshin is finally putting more dark tones to the Archon Quests, seeing actual scenes of horror instead of just implied undertones is very refreshing

  9. As a french girl who used to take ballet lesson, the music speak sooo much to me !!
It's by looking to your Let's Play, that I got it : Sinthe is a reference to Absinthe, a alcohol drink very popular in France and Switzerland during the second half of the 19th century ; also called the green fairy. It got banned during the 20th century due to the number of people that were absinthe-drunk ; plus its recipe was full of not-safe things that make it consumption worse than wine or beer.
