2:48:04 Ok, it's very emotional and sweet but at the same time… How long has he been the Chief Justice? Fontaine has made a point of being both more mature and more theatrical. Irl, I can think of a handful of cases in just in today's news where someone sacrificed their life or were willing to. And the guy on the front line of EVERY case in Fontaine (including cases where they can duel for their honor) has never seen someone willing to die for someone or something? Not one other parent that was killed trying to protect their kids? Not one of the Gardes with a sad backstory? Don't the Duelists like Chlorinde risk their lives constantly to defend justice?
This is Genshin, throw a rock in a field and you'll hit someone with a reason to risk their life. Maybe more than one.
If he hasn't seen anyone else by now, he's either not looking, not understanding unless it's spelled out, or his belief in this was eroded.
I still love his character and this entire quest is one of my favorites but I do feel that's either a flaw in his character or a flaw in the writing. Not a groundbreaking one, not even close.
i finished this quest last night and truth be told…i have my suspicions about someone and an odd feeling where this story is going….but even so this quest gave me chills of how dark it got
That’s it???! Thats the end?? WHAT ABOUT TARTAGLIA!!!!
My theory is neuvillette is the archon this whole region is about acting the archon could be acting for him or they both are hydro
Furina, Neuvillette and Navia's VAs carried the whole quest
I’m scared on Nuvilette 😣
furina in en sounds so harsh in the end lmao what
i suspect Neuvillette is a justice machine.
There is a theory that Teyvat is upside down dome on a planet. If the Primordial Water is from that planet before the dome was created, that's maybe why the water goes up.
i feel like Neuvillette should've actually been the real hydro archon for MANY reasons! like, he is so fit for it, lady fruina is kinda is wannabe-
I'm just crying 😭😭
Hmm why do i have a feeling that Neuvillette could be a survivor of khaenri’ah.yeh theirs no evidence to prove this but it’s just a gut feeling i have..
WE JUAST NEEDED NAHIDA BROOOOOOOOO
Thought… what if being a harbinger just connects him to The Knave or Dottore who MIGHT be connected to the serial disappearance case. I mean it's possible base on the incident of Tatarasuna. The two lovers might have been manipulated to result into this. And MAYBE, what ever job Tartaglia is doing now, is connected as well. he just doesn't know it.
again, it's not the first time the guy was told to do something, which results into something else happening that he was never aware of.
Childe probably has something to do with the primordial sea reappearing in Teyvat…that story about him falling into an abyss and his master saying he awakened 'it' can't have been added for no reason.
That button hole on clorinde's shirt… Oh boy…
I went from "I don't care about Navia" to "Oh my Gosh, Can she be my Bestie please!?" very quickly xD
2:49:14 I love the way, Neuvillete said that and also he was there, i mean its sad. 2:50:22 also the way paimon said "oh now!" Its so cute😭 Navia is also great shes my favourite character now.
As a hungarian, I'm really happy, that we got an activement "Lennék én folyóvíz". Now I'm in love with this update even more!
HOW TF DO YOU MANAGE TO CORRECTLY THEORIZE EVERYTHING??
Now that I remember we never gave childe his video on back to him so I really think we’re gonna break him out
The first 45 seconds of the video 😭😭
When you mentioned the sea monsters it threw me back to the world quests 😳 i really hope you do them. Theres some juicy lore in them
Edit: indeed fontaine has mature writing 😂 the mafia, human trafficking (they were gonna sell little girls to nasty grown men from Lyney's story, so pederasts too 🤢), substance abuse, thieves (not only the mond girl), murderers
34:03 we have the same level of backstory from shenhe, xiao(chasm) and wonderer but all of them are told on archon quest too so yeah.
I just love Neuvillette's personality and voice. Ray Chase did a perfect job. He was suited to voice noble people. :3
1:59:11 finally a fight
I love these videos! Its like watching an anime with a friend. Did he make videos like this also for Sumeru and Inazuma? I cannot find them on the channel.
2:50:18 lol that smile
They really be trying to explore cancel culture in this act didnt they
thoughts:
-Navia's VA killed it
-Vachers death proves genshin is getting DARKER
-I noticed that in this game, nobody really cries. the first time i remember seeing it was when nahida cried over greater lord ruk. much more emotion in this quest. hoyo is finally understanding what people love in the story
2:46:44 chat said hydro dragon and that actually makes a lot of sense 😮
why did the scene of taking the water 2:17:50 lol ( I know that is to show desperance haha
I honestly thought that he will throw it at the audience as a final blow hahhaa
Kinda glad that the try hard got dropped in one move
The child thing was very stupid. He's like 18 or 20 so he would have had to do the first murder when he was eight or 10
A curious theory: Could Neuvillette be the Hydro Dragon?
2:27:12 Monsieur Neuvillte sure showed Childe who is the true Hydro DPS in Fontaine 😂😂 Jokes aside, actually props for him to attack while Childe is in the middle of his "Magical Girl Transformation"-as I usually joked about, nit following the stereotypical trend is a fresh new thing
wish i was the gardemek at 16:25
I’m so glad Genshin is finally putting more dark tones to the Archon Quests, seeing actual scenes of horror instead of just implied undertones is very refreshing
As a french girl who used to take ballet lesson, the music speak sooo much to me !!
It's by looking to your Let's Play, that I got it : Sinthe is a reference to Absinthe, a alcohol drink very popular in France and Switzerland during the second half of the 19th century ; also called the green fairy. It got banned during the 20th century due to the number of people that were absinthe-drunk ; plus its recipe was full of not-safe things that make it consumption worse than wine or beer.
mmhh how strange the first mission I did was a thief who wanted to stole me and wanted to kill me in the depths of the sea and then some Melusine of some ruffians who wanted to steal his paintings
Childe is guilty of being too sassy in court. The oratrice has never heard such sass.
Vacher
Im way too excited for the third part of this Archon quest!!!
