I am a new genshin player and ive realized this big problem.. people always have hugh expectations in characters. I do have to say all the characters are beautiful and mesmerizing in their own way. After all i am sure the designers r working hard to make the designs.. we cant always have high expectations.

Nah bro, she looks better in the final version. Concept art is called "concept art" for a reason, the concept arts mostly are guesses (and kinda shitty especially the Ayato ones). Idgaf that she looks more like a sumeru citizen just because she's green, the concept art also made her looked so depressed. Overall stop being a stupid whinny baby just because Mihoyo doesn't take notes from your concept art, she seems like a great character too

If you look at the full image for the concept art, there were a lot of completely different designs for Emilie. It seems like the fanbase just chose a random one and expected that. Concept art is almost never the final product, so it's just more stupid nontroversy

I remembered Jade from HSR doesn't look like how she looks like now. She used to look very different in the leaks so when she was released, I couldn't recognise her at all. The released Jade looks better than her concept art. She used to have white hair and a different outfit. Now I can't find the images anymore…
