I really hope they don't nerf Yelan. At this point I have garanteed 5 star and I would love to go for her but I am gonna have to skip if they make her underperform that is just so underwellming.

As I've stated, bow characters and I don't really get along. Yelan looks amazing, and I really hope she stays wonderful, but I think I'm going for Ayaka. She is going to be my new main, and my goal is to level and take care of her talents asap. Of course, unlocking more of Inazuma would help. While still building Ai and Kazuha.
Ha! Watching this 20 mins after reading that she just got nerfed today lol fortunately is not TOO big of a nerf.. (unless you main Hu tao ) lol

I’m saving for Arataki Itto and don’t need or want Yelan, i personally find her face and hair to be…odd, but her play style looks cool.

Me, who've lost EVERY 50/50 since day one, and spent all my F2P primos to get Raiden c2 (loosing another 2 50/50's..). – I hope they dont nerf her before her rerun!!!! LMAO!!!
Here's to hoping Yelan comes out fine once she's released. Not too worried since I'd imagine it's not in the company's best interest to upset players too much after what happened with Yae.
But to be honest I dont want another Hydro Ganyu
They will add some sort of annoying mechanic in her kit or make her not work well with popular teams. It's hard to imagine how they would ruin Yelan, but they will find a way!
My question is the value of Yelan, is another character very similar to Xingqui needed for a power spike? For the most part, 2 Xingqui's are not needed on both teams in the abyss. I would argue that a character like Ayaka or Kazuha are definite power spikes, but she seems like a minor upgrade over C6 Xingqui at the most. I likely need to skip her to get Ayaka and Mistsplitter
Honestly she needs to be nerfed. She is way too strong

I really hope hoyoverse dont nerf her.. bcs she cant use TTDS, pyro resonance, bennet, or any atk buff.. she need to be broken due to these disadvantages

Nah they won’t nerf her. The have to beat xinqui if she beat xinqui what are they selling? So I doubt you she get nerfed for sales. Especially when they know that people have seen the leaks. If they nerf it people are gonna be wild. She is a good support till C6 and subdps. She doesn’t fit my game playstyle as I don’t like playing my hutao and I am xinqui simp. But I don’t think they will nerf.
I hope they don't nerf her for all the Yelen fans, but for me personally I don't really care. I would kind of have to love her story to roll. My thing is she's just Xingqui turned Waifu. And don't get me wrong I respect the move by Hoyoverse haha but they aren't fooling me. I dont feel like I need her

This is my hopium for her not getting nerfed:
She’s not a direct buff to every aspect of Xingqui’s kit cause she doesn’t have his QoL healing or damage reduction and instead reinvests that into personal damage and team buffing.
She’s allowed to power creep him cause she’s a 5 star that not everyone will have and it’s not like Xingqui will becomes bad cause the most valuable thing about both these characters is their fast off field hydro application.
If they nerf her hydro application so that it’s worse than Xingqui and lets say it doesn’t work with a character like Hu Tao I think MiHoYo knows way less people will pull for her
