    After giving it some thought, I decided it was important for you to have this shader as a "backup" in case the Guilty Gear style is too complicated for you. This is a VERY nice shader, and operates with the basic standard UV Texture mapping techniques that most of you probably already know. So, it's a good simple alternative for any casual Blender User that doesn't want to dive to deep into the more complicated styles 🙂

    Also, a manual is included with the shader. It's a perfect tool for anyone interested in understanding the core details of how the shader works and how to use it!!

  2. This may be a dumb question but I'm a big noob so… Does this work with handpainted textures? Also in order to have some parts of a model be metallic and others to be skin or sth else I assume they'll have to be separate objects?

  4. I am still more like blue reflection shader (PC).
    can you make that too?
    if possible for unity too (HDRP, LRP, or previous before that is fine).
    i am not an artist and confused how to make this shader.

  6. Hello Royal Skies, i found your's channel a week ago.. And your's course really help me a lot.. Thanks bro…
    And there is one thing that always confuses me. how to set texture and UV map on an object/character.

    I mean, some game characters have special textures like eyes only, or only clothes.

    And your character has a mecha suit, which means it has a special texture, separate from your character's texture.

  7. I wonder if there will be a tutorial to completely recreates GI's face shading too.
    I had some success baking a normal map from a separate object but I don't know if there's a better way to do it.
    It just looks wrong without any way to disable self-shadowing.

  8. Thank you for sharing! No offence but little bored with genshin-like unity shaders… every game uses the same thing these days. But still can use this idea to get some new things.
