What song from the Genshin soundtrack do you want to hear next?

8:22 it Er Hu.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erhu
Don’t remember that part because we were all too busy running for our lives in this fight. 😂
Let's have Gilded Runner next! There's a time signature there that was derived by the fibonacci sequence (golden ratio)
Then Duel in the Mist. because of the hidden trap beats.
A really good song to listen to is Swirls of Shamshir from the nation of Sumeru and arguably one of the best battle OST in Genshin
(Also the instrument used is called the Erhu)
WOO.
Since you enjoyed rhythmic use of the orchestra so much, i can wholeheartedly recommend "Gilded Runner" and "Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie" from the Genshin OST, they're also absolutely brilliant pieces!
Some other favourites from other games/movies i have in this aspect are also "Diablo 3 – Chains of Fate" and "Tron Legacy – Flynn Lives".
Great video, i personally enjoy the use of skipping back and listening into a section more with explanations/focus on details!
This theme in SO satisfying to my ears
love your review and reaction! this is for sure an all time best banger boss ost for the game.
you can react to the live concert https://youtube.com/watch?v=8svl0sQXDLI&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE at minute 15:38, it honors the song in the game, has the official lyrics, actívate cc
The instrument is an Erhu
This instrument is called Erhu, it is a traditional Chinese musical instrument with a long history.
Signora next? Damn these boss themes really make me want to learn drums.
BTW there is live concert version of this masterpiece, you can check it on YouTube. Sounds even more epic watching it being played.
Around 8:20 you said you don't know what an instrument is, as a Chinese, I can tell you XD. That is called erhu, "二胡" in China, and it is one of the most popular traditional instruments in China. When I heard this part, I sense memory and heroic struggles. And usually in Chinese music, if you want to represent a sense of long and heavy history, Erhu is usually the best choice, like you can hear a similar instrument called Huqin"胡琴" (if I am not mistaken) when u explore around Chasm, similar vibes
Liyue always uses alot of Erhu 😀
Hey, i think it's actually a great idea to skip back to moments you want to analyze in more detail. This way we as viewers can learn more about insights real musician can provide. As players we enjoy the heck of the banger tracks but it's on subconscious level for the most part, so it's awesome when someone more skilled in these arts can shine some light on exactly why the particular sections are so effective.
Oh man, if you're this amazed, you are not going to be ready with the Genshin's "Gilded Runner" OST
That track uses freaking Mathematics in its rhythm lmao XDDD
I bet as drummer you will love "The Duel in the Mist" theme from Inazuma ost. Btw there is an official music video with instruments.
"Yes! Drums! I know that! That's what I play!" is honestly me whenever i recognize a cello part in a song lol
I recommend listening to Burst into Flames since it uses a lot of drums as well as traditional instruments like what you hear from this theme
Im really enjoying these videos. Im not drummer but man i love good drum sounds in songs.
I'm a french horn player- brass technique for fast notes is pretty simple! We can't stop and start our air that fast- it's pretty much impossible. However, we can use tonguing to keep tempo. With horn we use "tu-tu-tu" (for clearer articulations) or "du-du-du" (more marcato) by stopping the air with our tongue. For faster sections, we have to use double or triple tonguing, which is when you alternate stopping the air with your tongue and throat (try going "tu-ku-tu-ku", it feels slower at first but with time it's much faster than single tonguing)
If that doesn't make sense, here's another way to explain it: we always keep pressure on our diaphragm to keep pushing air out of our lungs, but we can stop the air from entering our instrument using various techniques. Hope this helps!
BTW the traditional chinese instrument in the middle of Rage beneath the mountains is called Huqin.
What about La Signora's battle theme?
So as far as brass articulations go you will put constant pressure with your lungs but you interrupt with a “te” syllable or for really short notes you can double tongue which is where you alternate “da” and “ga” syllables
Gilded Runner pretty please
