  1. Looking at the revenue for both HSR & GI, while one of them is MASSIVELY smaller in playerbase, both games still managed to hit similar profits. That said, one of them lost massive amount while the other gained a metric ton to equalise lmao. You can cope about a game but the statistics don't lie, upcoming projections are gonna be interesting to say the least in the next few patches.

  2. The boycott isn't doing shit, precisely because the majority of its players don't even frequent YouTube or Twitter. They're casuals, and they're gonna willingly devour every bare minimum effort Hoyoverse does with every patch.

The only thing you can do is quit and play another game, moving on from this sad excuse of an open world game.

  3. both xianyun and navia are awesome, especially Navia. The 4.0 story was amazing. Tectone you're high. The boycot thing wasnt;' real it was literally just your community talking about it lol. The problem was that you wanted people to boycot the game cus of the 4.4 rewards not because of the actual flaws like lack of end game and faceroll content. The reason the boycot failed was because nobody cares about the rewards because most ppl have 20 chars and dont need free shit

  4. I'm gonna take a hiatus of genshin not because of rewards, after 3.5 YEARS there is not a single new end game content, its events – mini games – events – mini games, same thing over and over and over again. they have no intention of even acknowledging the existence of the existing player base, all they try to do is FOMO and brining in new players that'll spend money for the first month and leave.

  6. But where those CN statistics came out?,
why they suddenly added an "international" stat?
    it´s so sus,
I remember they used bots 3 weeks ago, I personally suspect, is China cheating on Gacharevenue?

  7. It didn't fail cuz it still lost some money and it will lose more cuz 4.5 sucks ass with no new area and a shit character like chiori comes with a garbage kit only thing saving this patch will be like the kazuha and neuvillette banner keep boycotting forever

  8. The boycott failed, plain and simple.
And this was the only chance anything could’ve been done differently for Genshin.

If anything I do hope that this proves that Genshin changing is a hopeless endeavor. Just like Fate Grand Order previously, you either accept what you have right now or look for another game to play.

Personally with FGO, I made the decision to abandon the game despite all the money I spent on it cuz I saw no meaningful changes in the future (and I was right about that… years later and it’s still a janky ass farming simulator). So I don’t see Genshin improving on the rewards department.

  9. The game is too casual to succumb to a boycott. Think about this too, even if it did hurt them, theyd never show. After all "revenue" for this game is a magic number. Its not based on top up sales during the banner, just pulls (or both). What if most people only used their free pulls theyd been saving? We dont know and they'll never say. This game wont fail unless someone can actually do better.

  10. I don’t know if people get that not everyone is late game or end game so they don’t see why the game needs big changes. I started playing a month ago and don’t see a problem with the game yet.

  11. My only wish from the HSR player base is to make sure you do the surveys with no jokes and actually put what they want in the game now that HSR is making AS MUCH as Genshit. Im awaiting the new survey to ask them for more enemies hunting. Cause for some reason i cant hunt some enemies so i have to go waddle my way to their location cause i memorized it.

  12. This proved to me that the people who keeps talking about boycotting genshin are either not players, or non-spenders. and neither of these groups have influence on the game whatsoever. I was willing to join the boycott but when I saw the banner numbers for Xinyan I realized is just fabricated hate from non players like you, so yeah, I will keep spending and ignoring non players complains

  13. I literally just quit Genshin about a day or two ago and it's the best my phone storage has ever been 😂sure the extra storage space is gonna be taken by other games (hoping WuWa comes out soon) but at least it's not being occupied that huge time-waster of a game 😂.
