Which teams are you running with Yelan?
Yelan+yunjin+yoimiya+bennet
Ayato x yun jin x bennet x yelan
I'm using her with Ayato, Kazuha and Bennett.
It's like having 2 Ayato Es at the same time
Those are very interesting comps! My team goes with Raiden, Yelan, Kazuha, Bennett
Can yelan Xingxiu yae miko and beidou work and what rotation will it beed
A few questions:
Team 1: Why force Yelan to be a main dps? Every hydro part of her kit only scales off of Hp, so why use her atk scaling normal attacks? Wouldn't replacing Yun Jin with Kazuha or Sucrose be better? You could even use Xiangline normal attacks with Bennet C6 instead of Yelan.
Team 2: Again, why not use Kazuha or Sucrose instead of Xingqiu or Fischl?
Team 3: Okay this team seems to not really work at all. Yelans hydro application is too weak for even only Hu Tao and can lead to her blossoms consuming your Hydro and resulting in no vaporize. The geo makes this even worse because it can also steal Yelans Hydro away. Lastly why Yun Jin? Wouldn't Albedo be way better for elemental mastery boost and constant off-field damage?
Team 4: Cool idea to use the 4 elements, but why not use Sucrose as a main dps instead of Yelan? As you said, elemental reactions are everything in this team and Sucrose with her high em can output way more damage than, again, Yelans atk scaling normal attacks.
Team 5: Why play a mono element team without VV shred? Kokomi could be replaced because Xingqiu already provides some healing and dmg resistance, or if the healer is really needed, Xingqiu could be replaced.

replaced xingqiu with yelan in my ningguang team as burst support.
its pronounced "Yeah Lan", not not "Yeeeeee Lan" xDD
best team comp is definetely Yelan + Yoimiya + Yunjin + Diona so that you can constantly Vape and Melt as you like, have shields n heals if neccessary, 4 different elements for best Yelan max health for optimal Yelan DPS plus option to change to freeze tactics and counter attack shield in order to buy you some time, if you need to wait on Dionas E to recover and Yoi/Yelan Duo just erases out any target in no time with how fast yoimiya attacks and how fast yelan adds vapes to it. only downside of this comp is is having no Bennet, but bennt replacing Diona would be also a nice alternative any time. His DMG buff should compensate for the DPS los of no 4 elements/lesser DPS from Yelan n yun jin, in case you need no shields. as pyro resonance and bennet compensate easily the differences. Having a shielder for you is just more comfort 😀 and better for CC due to freezing targets, and getting easier rid of annoying hydro fatui mages ect.
Favorite speed-running/whale team I have been running is Yelan, Raiden, Venti and Zhongli. Raiden and Yelan swapping back and forth has never felt so good. Also don't need much ER on Yelan with this team either.
I'm prolly gonna run yelan with my yoimiya most of the time like who wouldn't bruh they seems like the perfect pair I already got her…

nonononono i disagree, the best team for Yelan is Yoimiya, Beidou Yelan and flex: Yoimiya machine gun, Beidou for aoe and yelan as xingqiu replacement : stat incresing for beidou (since she scales with hp to) vaporize effect, escape route, you can replace beidou with fischl or raiden what you prefer
Yelan, Thoma, Xingqiu, Sayu
Fun teams:
1) Raiden, Yelan, Xingqiu, Anemo
Speaks for itself lol. Completely melts enemies. But be sure to lower Yelan's and Xingqiu's ER bc otherwise you're wasting the team's potential. I'd wager it's best to avoid using sac/fav weapons if you have higher DPS options
2) Yelan (sac bow), Bennett, Xiangling, Sucrose/Kazuha
Team focused on vaping Yelan's skills and breakthrough barbs. Ofc, the same characters could just run a national comp, but different rotation. After her shots, you can switch back to trying to vape Xiangling's burst, but not a big deal if Yelan is vaping ig. Be sure Yelan has good EM in her build. If you want her damage higher, use sac frags or magic guide on sucrose. If you want Xiangling's higher, you can do TTDS. Couldn't say which is better, I'm just fucking around with teams lol.
Rotation for this one also isn't something I'm sure about. If you don't burst, you get no particles from skill uses on the first burst. If you burst before, her skill procs her burst meaning it'll be harder to vape her damage. Tho you can try to absorb pyro with the anemo character for more application.
Wouldn't recommend this unless against 3+ enemies so you can guarantee breakthrough barb resets and increase sac skill reset probability. Probably not that strong of a team, especially after the first rotation (not sure tho), but it's fun and in my experience, viable
My current team is Ayaka, Shenhe, Jean, Yelan. Even in abyss I can mostly use Ayaka charge attacks with yelan/Shenhe burst to clear most enemies and save Ayaka burst for the big hp enemies like magu Kenki. Yelan skill into jean skill does good enough grouping for trash mobs too. Nice switch up in play style from quick swap mono cryo team with ganyu instead yelan.
I personally don’t think it’s worth using yunjin for main yelan dps since her normal attacks are mega weak anyway. Wouldn’t it just be better to just use sucrose or smth in the first team shown.
Yunjin is pretty useless in that first team unless you build one of them for their auto attack talents, and even then theyll he doing Phys DMG. If you built any of them correctly, yunjin's flat atk increase won't get any elemental buff that a proper DPS would normally get. Yelans btb counts as charge atk DMG too iirc
I've beaten the abyss with every meta team in the game and for top tier teams, I recommend these instead:
Raiden national but swap xq for yelan (opens xingqiu to be used on other team)
Hutao xq yelan xiangling/zhongli (both hutao and xiangling can vape, nutty DMG. Could also swap for shielded or anemo char)
Raiden xingqiu yelan flex (the only team in the vid I'd agree with)
DPS Sucrose beidou xingqiu yelan (needs sac sword or fav weapons to make sure beidou gets enough ER)
Ayaka yelan or yoimiya yelan. Both of these are classic combos where xingqiu can be replaced with yelan for more DMG. If you REALLY want to force yunjin, do it with a good normal attacker like ayato, Noelle, or yoimiya

You forgot the original taser team (sucrose beidou fischl sucrose). You can now actually replace beidou with yelan in this team , even works really well with yae miko instead of fischl

i think for team 2 instead of fischl should use diona for freeze and heal and shield
