  1. So, for summary

Electro + Dendro = More dmg & particle

    Hydro + Dendro = Fruit

    Fruit + Pyro = Explode

Just like Overload but explosion does not make the enemy bounce far

Fruit + Electro = Chain Arrow thingy.

It will atk enemy and deals Dendro dmg

I wonder does other element that can make reaction with the "Fruit"?

Rumor said other element don't react to Dendro, but how about the fruit?

For now, i think bring Hydro Chara for sumeru exploration is recomended

  2. I think MC will be decent since it looks like his/her E skill will apply Dendro (you can see it in that video). His/her Q skill dropped some sort of Dendro construct which could be good as well.
At least we will have a character who can apply Dendro right from the start so we can do the reactions.

  3. My question is why is everyone so confused on the word catalysis…
Like its a very common term in chemistry and is taught in like 9th standard. Is it not taught in the west? cause people being so confused about it is very bizarre to me…

  4. Dendro + Hydro = Drop Seed
Dendro + Hydro = Seed + Pyro = Exploses droped seed (AoE dmg)

Dendro + Hydro = Seed + Electro = Seed follow enemy and deal dmg

Dendro, Anemo, Pyro and Hydro will become the more flexible element, i can't wait for Sumeru :v

  5. To anyone who doesn’t understand much of the science behind Catalysis:
The reason why that Electro reaction happens is because electricity accelerates chemical production in plants and can cause that energy to release outward due to the plant being, haha, “overloaded” with energy, hence the word “catalysis”

Plus, it just exists because the devs wanted it to

  6. Hydro + dendro = Bloom
    Pyro + dendro = burning
    Electro + dendro = catalyze
Bloom + electro = bloom missile
Bloom + pyro = bloom explosion
Catalyze = particle and target takes more damage from dendro and or electro not sure in what way tho.

  7. Dendro + Hydro = Bloom (seed/fruit thingy)
Dendro + Electro = Catalyze (effect unknown)
    Dendro + Pyro = Burning

    Bloom + Electro = Projectile
    Bloom + Pyro = Explosion
    Catalyze + Hydro = !?!?
    Catalyze + Pyro = !?!?

  8. So it's like this ;

Dendro + Hydro = Bloom (produce seeds)
Dendro + Pyro = Burning (DOT)
Dendro + Electro = Catalyze (probably def or resistance reduc for Electro and Dendro)
Dendro + Hydro + Electro = Bloom charges to opponents
Dendro + Hydro + Pyro = Bloom explodes.

  9. Yes the new reactions are fun, cool and all. but am i the only one who sees how Geo is being left behind because of Dendro? people are so enamored with the new flashy reactions, while only a few realize how geo is being left in the dust even more. gotta look at the bigger picture. not everything that glitters is golden.

Pyro, Hydro & Electro get direct reactions: Burning, Bloom & Catalyze. As of that’s not enough, they also have “tertiary” reactions: Bloom + Pyro, and Bloom + Electro.

even if Cryo & Anemo don’t get reactions, their reactions get buffed indirectly. Burning allows Cryo to do more Melt because Pyro aura stays with Burning. Anemo gets to Swirl the aura provided by Catalyze, Bloom & Burning.

What did Geo get? Directly—nothing. Indirectly—nothing.

The developers say they based dendro’s reactions to everyday phenomena in nature. What could be more everyday and ubiquitous than the interaction between earth/rock/minerals and plants/flowers/trees?

Of course, this is just Preview 01. there might be more for Geo in future previews. So i’ll give Hoyoverse the benefit of the doubt. But i’m not clinging to hopium. If Geo gets dendro-crystallize, it’s still an outdated reaction. If Geo gets zero reaction with Dendro, that’s even worse. Geo would be a lost cause for sure.

I just don’t like the idea that Dendro seemingly is making all elements move forward directly or indirectly, except Geo. But yes, we will have to wait and see.

  10. It's cool that Hoyoverse is creating byproduct reactions like the bloom seed reacting with electro and pyro. What else creates a dropped item from a reaction? Geo! So perhaps a few updates from now, we could get crystal-centered reactions with the crystallize crystals reacting to other elements.

  11. OMG I JUST REALIZED THIS

Remember when everyone was making a fuss about Yoimiya not having any AOE whatsoever?

The bloom reaction fixes that issue!
They should've put Yoimiya on 3.0 when dendro finally comes out, not 2.8

Like seriously imagine the potential of
    Yoimiya + Yelan + Dendro + Kazuha

  12. The enemies drop different stuff based on what Elements were affecting them upon death?

Yeah… maybe I'll just skip every Dendro unit. The whole Element just looks like set-up and support, anyway.
