Well, the livestream for 5.0 has ended, and it was insane. What happened to Hoyoverse?

Anyway, in this video, let’s summarize all the free rewards that were announced and also talk about the rewards that weren’t mentioned in the livestream.

First, the most unbelievable reward: a free 5-star character. Oh my god, is it really happening? I think everyone, including me, thought this moment would never come, but here it is.

We will be getting one standard 5-star character as an anniversary reward. But not only that, we will be getting it every anniversary, so basically, we’ll get one this year, another next year, and so on. If MiHoYo wants to redeem themselves, they should compensate with an additional three 5-star characters for the previous anniversaries.

Jokes aside, it’s very nice that they actually decided to give us a 5-star character selector from the standard banner. Those characters are not used that much by the players, so there was no reason not to give them to us for free.

But it’s not over. There are another three 4-stars that will be given for free in 5.0, so let’s take a look at that.

Another character who is going to be given for free is Kachina. At the beginning of the Natlan Archon quest, she will join your squad. I guess MiHoYo still followed the pattern of giving a free 4-star character at the beginning of a new region.

Initially, there was information that she wouldn’t be given for free, but Bennett would. It was said that Bennett would be given from the world quest while Kachina would be given in the Archon quest. So, I think that both of them will be given for free, and the developers might announce bennet later.

So, we already have three free characters in 5.0.

we will get another 4-star weapon from the main event.

It was not mentioned on the livestream, but we will be able to get over 115 free pulls in the 5.0 update. So, it’s going to be another 5-star character.

Besides the things I mentioned, we will be given 10 free pulls from the login event and 1600 Primogems from the in-game mail. In addition, we will get a free pet and gadget.

And finally, we know how to get the artifact stat selector. There was info about it a while ago, and now it’s finally confirmed. You can get one from the battle pass, and another one will be given as part of the anniversary reward. It was not mentioned if there is a way to get it after the anniversary ends, but probably, after that, the only way to get it is through a paid battle pass.

It was not specified, but the banner also has some changes.

The first thing is that there will be some kind of additional win increase when you pull with your 50/50. How I understand it, it won’t be 50/50 but something like 60/40 or even 55/45. I won’t be surprised if it will be like 52/48; it’s Hoyoverse, after all.

On top of that, the Fate Point in weapon banners has been reduced from 2 to 1, so I guess it will be easier to get a desired weapon.

  7. Actually for the artifact thingy you are able to get it without buying the battle pass! Players are able to get it first hoyo will give us a free one then you can exchange artifacts and the last method is to explore natlan and you can find them!! The artifacts elixir is f2p

    I play WuWa too but thanking them instead of hoyo makes no sense if you’re saying they only gave free 5star just because of the competition then also say thanks for all the competition HSR has in turn based genera and don’t say thanks for HSR for giving free 5star
