i don't know what possessed me to believe the jean skin was going to be £7-13, but i was dead set on getting her and my jaw dropped when i found out she'd be around £25 D:
oh well, this is unlikely but i'd like to hope that she'll be discounted on some special occasions/anniversaries, because as a 15 year old student working minimum wage, £25 is half what i get on weekends, spent on a virtual skin.

I think it would be stupid to take the whole area away after a certain time considering Kazhua has ascension materials there. You would literally hace to grind for them just in case you pull him later down the line and wante him.

From a developers standpoint, they would much rather keep permanent content ,such as the regions themselves and characters, over short time and scale events , such as the festivals and minigames, to save storage space for the different platforms Genshin runs on, and by removing events it allows them to be well received on their eventual return rather than getting bored of them since we already have that event and have had enough of it. Marvellous merchandise and the boss rush events are prime examples of this, people are mostly happy to see these events come again, but most people are not happy when we run the same artefact domains and Abyss again and again even if it is to get some rewards. One feels demanding while the other feels rewarding. Also regarding your concerns about the Isles, I am pretty sure they are a permanent edition to Genshin as Kazuha's ascension materials are un-acquirable from anywhere currently on the map. While it would be smart to consider that they would simply add these materials to Inazuma then remove the isles, that would require a lot of effort and people would lose out on rewards given from the isles such as treasure chests and the main story quest, which will help us travel to Inazuma. The new area seems more like a bridge that we have to cross to get to Inazuma rather than something made to eventually go away. Tho, this is just all my personal conjecture.

The biggest concern is the after Inazuma, when we will have to endure a year for another big expansion. I think the patch after Inazuma will be the depression patch.

Tech, you are the problem. We’ve had this for years with gta5, and now with genchin, they won’t change their ways because they have zero punishment if they don’t. The fact that you and countless others will throw your money at this company, is what makes them greedy, they do this because you let them. The insane amounts of money you put in the game is what makes the game harder for f2p players. They focus on how to drill money out of whales and don’t care about f2p players because we don’t open our wallets for them. Because of the focus on whales, fp2 players almost never get anything implemented to benefit us because they don’t care, they don’t care about us because they make bank of whales. You are indirectly the problem. you have no idea how frustrating the game is for f2p players at times and there is an easy fix, stop whaling and they’ll stop pondering to the whales.
5$ should be the price of a skin especially if it doesn't change animations or play style and for a beach skin that doesn't show skin to me it's worthless where's our genshin only fans mihoyo

Mate, ever heard of King's Raid? That gacha game literally gave u straight up level 100 heroes, with their soul weapon and skins for free. Mihoyo isn't being generous when they're giving away free skins .-.

I'm personally excited for Kazuha, I'll be using him as a sub-dps (likely) if I get him (and I do plan on getting him, I've been saving a sh*t-ton of primos for him and if I still can't get him with those primos then I'll pay for the first time ever in the game. Currently f2p). I see him as a good crowd-control character, as he is able to draw enemies together, and my main dps is currently Xiao. I actually have no anemo characters except Xiao and anemo traveler right now ^^' I don't even have Sucrose…
But yeah. I'm excited for 1.6 :3

I don't think this new region is temporary, think about it, it has a new boss and new character ascension material (for kazuha and potentially future characters too) so let's say hypothetically they take it away how are we supposed to level kazuha up? What if someone didn't farm hard enough, wouldn't they be able to level him up to max? There's no way they'll take it away especially with the community being desperate over a new region, and if u see any YouTube community pull you'll see people left and right choosing a new region over even fckn free primos XD to be added to the game

Just throwing this out there but am i the only one who genuinely enjoyed 1.3 and 1.4 alot more than i did 1.5? (1.5 post windtrace was for me the most boring state of the game i had ever played)

I finally decided to take a break from Genshin. My spending was out of control and logging in to keep up with events started to feel like a chore, rather than something I enjoyed. Don't get me wrong, I still love Genshin, but I think I need a break for at least a few months.
I will change Kazuha and play him as main dps 😅
20 25 or 30 $ that is equivalent to a legendary skin in League of legends with new VA animation for the skins if Jeans skin does not have at least new animations bare minimum its over priced and even whales should take a stand and not buy it VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET SO THEY GIVE US BETTER next skin that is worth the amount don't be suckers we'll see
