  1. I love support units like this. I was a little worried about her restrictions at first but it seems like she can function well outside of duo pyro and electro. Can’t wait to try her out with my Yoi. Might replace Bennett from her team since playing Yoi with circle impact is horrible.

  2. As someone who's going to be rolling 400 times on that banner, I'm so so here for what her c6 is gonna bring.

…Wonder if she could work with Yanfei? I have a thing for making forgotten characters work, and Yanfei is so cute.

  3. Let me confirm something, does her passive(Vanguard's Coordinated Tactics) activate only when all party members consist of either pyro or electro? or it can activate with just one pyro and one electro, and the rest can be other elements? Also, her build should be the typical crit build, hybrid with Hp% sand or triple Hp% with new AF set-Song of Days Past? I lean towards the first two with either Noblesse or EOSF.

  4. I want to run on her on an overload team with Raiden as the driver – if it was Chevy, Raiden, Xiangling and Benny, would it still be Xiangling triggering overloads, meaning standard ER Raiden and EM Xiangling? I need another boss killer comp.

  5. Imo her kit is pretty interesting but I personally don't think I'll be building her anytime soon if she comes home while I'm pulling for Raiden. I don't do overload a lot even using Cyno and Bennett together often in team, and at this current point with other characters I have to either rework their artifact set or prepare for in upcoming banners Chevreuse wouldn't fit in neatly enough to my normal/preferred swirl vaporize or freeze team comps to make me consider benching the Bennett I've spent ages trying to get a decent Noblesse set for. But that being said I'm still really interested to see other players build her and utilize her or have her in co-op teams with friends I play with. I feel like she's another character I'd happily play alongside in co-op but not have in my own team (if that makes any sense).

  6. Usually, when they release a support for spesific team comp, it's for buff current underwhelming chars or to prepare for future release char
As for now we know that there will be an electro sword user with gun

  7. I dont know how I feel about her, so Im going to list what I like, and dont like about her kit.

    What I like:
    – I like her role consolidation of Healing, and buffing.
    – I also like that she provides multiple types of buffs.
    – I like that the imprtant parts of her kit are tied to her elemental skill, and not her Burst.
    – I like that she has high uptime on all of her buffs.
    – I like that she has a niche, and is able to perform well in it.
    – Like the particle generation.

    What I DON'T like:
    – I dont like that she only offers 40% pyro/electro damage reduction. VV still exists, and im not sure Chevy's overall kit is worth locking yourself out of a anemo character. Or any other element for that matter.
    – I dont like that she doesn't actually augment Overload in any way to make it feel more comfortable to use, or increase its damage. Wouldnt it be cool if she caused overload expolsions to IMPLODE rather than explode?
    – I dont like the constellation that could make her more usable outside of duo Pyro/Electro comps is at c6. Often times, you can get 1 or 2 Five star characters before you max out a c6 Four star.
    – Im not sure I like that she scales with HP. Given how her identity is supposed to revolve around overload, I would hope she would scale, and privide some EM buffs for the team, rather than attack. (But maybe its a good thing overall)
    – I dont like that her Healing isnt team-wide. That means her C6 buff will always take 6 seconds to become full active on that character that needs it most, completely shutting her out of quickswap teams, which is where I would immagine she would shine brightest.

Overall, I feel that her identity is a bit confused. Another jack-of-all-trades, master of none deal. Yet fits in a niche, but its one that im not entirely sure people want to even explore. I feel she is needlessly restricted, for someone whose niche is fufilled by other units a bit more competently.
Resistance shred – every anemo unit in the game can provide it.
Attack boost- Bennet still exists, and Attack as an offensive stat seems to be in lower demand. Anyone who REALLY wants attack, is gonna use Bennet anyways.
60% dmg bonus – locked behind her c6. Numbers are comparable to what Kazuha can achieve. Also completely outclassed by Furina, as she buffs all party members, rather than the active character.

Yet, Im curious as to how a team of her, Fischl, Xiangling/Thoma, and Cyno would feel.

  8. I'm confused, why are you suggesting non pyro/electro units in your team comp recommendations? I thought she could only have those 2 elements for her buff to take effect?

  9. I kinda wanna see the numbers between just ignoring her 40% res shred and using an anemo character with her that holds VV instead. If you use Sucrose or Kazuha, you’ll also get their buffs as well. She also has a 40% attack boost and 60% pyro and electro boost that are not tied to the team comp limitations, so that puts more merit to the idea of just ignoring her A1 passive.

  10. Chevreuse C4 is can be extremely powerful. She can frontload ~3000% damage within 2s. You can just ignore her a4 attack buff if you include Bennett in the team. (40% ATK vs 1000+ Flat ATK).

Her skill has no ICD, so she can regain an Overcharged Ball immediately upon hit. Based on the 4.3 Livestream, her E has auto-targeting similar to Mika. In other word, it can't miss…. but it also means you can't hit a headshot for guaranteed crit πŸ™

  11. Id say completely ignoring her dmg isnt good since she can dish out a some non negligable dmg also one team i think she will excel in is raiden hypercarry with raiden/chevreuse/sara/bennett πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
