  1. There wasn't really anything we didn't know yet in the trailer. But it was exceptionally well made. The repeating lines that went darker and darker with accompanying imagery and music, they really did justice to her story. It's good that we'll end at the start, not at the end of this samsara.

  2. They plan to sacrifice the traveler in able to purify the corruption beneath, it happened but the traveler's true power unsealed for sometime and escaping the predicament he is in but the power got sealed again as he used most of it to purify the curse cast upon those who are inflicted by it.p

  3. This could be seen backwards.
Thee 3rd scene where nahida was brought by the sages was happened 500 years ago.
The 2nd scene where the traveler and sumeru characters involved in the archon quest is going to happen soon.
The 1st scene where the people celebrate the sabzerus festival, genuinely love her as their archon, will happen in the future.

Or, you could just say I'm high in copium 🥲

  4. this has to be my favorite teaser yet. the sequence of the dreams, music, voice acting and story is perfectly executed that it makes me want to punch the sages so bad

  5. What makes this harder to watch than Ei's trailer, honestly, is how everything Ei went through was the result of a massive cataclysm out of everyone's control.
Meanwhile, while Nahida hasn't suffered the loss Ei has, what has been done to her was done on purpose, and by her own people.

Nahida's birth was a tragedy to them, because it was proof of their beloved God's death. So instead of celebrating Nahida's birth, they grieved for Rukkhadevata.
Ok, I can kind of understand that they were devastated to lose their beloved God, even if I feel bad for Nahida having people cry in sorrow over the fact that she was born.
However, they had 500 years to get over it, and accept Nahida. They refused, and instead treat her with contempt for something that is just not her fault.

(And it's especially ironic now, after we found out that Nahida and Rukkhadevata are probably the exact same person, just weakened and with her memories wiped…)
