  1. I understand your point but i will not rant about the game having too much story or content… its way too long of a time when you finish all the stories and hangout between patches.

I now take my time with the content, stop when i want and try to enjoy all the story and scenes.

But yeah, alot of the content is actually just dialogues

  2. Oh no. You have to go through the story in an RPG.

This is a GOOD problem to have.

It’s actual content. Not building a new character by grinding domains over and over. Then doing the same thing next month.

    Story. Plot progress. Actual content

  3. Yes because Nilous stage drama is somehow preventing me from accessing the new areas stuff. The thing I learned to do is NEVER and I mean NEVER unlock story quests unless you're gonna comple8then right after. If you leave the story quests locked those npcs won't spawn and you won't have to complete prerequisite stuff for some things. Obviously you'll have to complete story quests to access new things but what I mean is that if you leave nilous quest locked, then you CAN complete Nahidas, but if you unlock Nilous quest then during Nahidas it'll say that bullshit about a character being BUSY. Could be wrong but I've never had a problem doing it this way.

  4. I yeah, i’m not going through that until i know I have the time to do so. I landed pretty much at the same point you began and i’ve been dreading going through those stories. I like them- but I uhhh don’t have the time. =_=

  5. This is y’all fault for not playing the game the right way ? Y’all play this game for damage numbers and reviews

When you post to be doing the story and open world quests don’t blame the game for this blame what you made the game out to be

  6. I can understand the reasoning but as someone who has been playing on a consistent basis from way back when I can assure you that it's not as big of a deal as it may seem. I'm sure that out of your, assuming you do have, 60 friends that there's going to be atleast one of them that are just like me and would be totally find with letting you run the new boss in their world. So there's a quick and essentially effortless way to get around this story quest issue.

  7. Man! And to make things worse. If you feel like your work is to good to allow skips at LEAST pay some voice actors. Id listen if i could do other stuff while its on….just lazy. Care enough not to allow skips but dont care enough to pay voice actors…tragic

  8. Thanks for reminding me this is a weekly boss with weekly rewards, I'm not as far back on quests but I was sort of taking it slow lately, just finally getting around to the Jinni quest recently.

  9. I think its reasonable, because if you don’t do quests or if youre uninterested in the game, why are you pushing yourself and continuing to play the game. And as for new players, I dont think its reasonable to assume that they “need” to unlock this boss asap. In any case coop exists and you can go challenge the boss in another person’s world

  10. Urrghh… i feel your pain dude. I learned my lesson the hard way in one of the Inazuma events & I had to mindlessly tap my screen to finish a lot of story quests.

Now, I just don’t unlock new story quests to make sure characters aren’t locked up for quests that I actually have to do.

If only the story were actually interesting…. I don’t know what it is… I just can’t get too much into the lore…. Especially if it’s a lot of exposition. Exposition Impact 🤣

  11. Bro take it slow none of the characters for the next 3 weeks need this boss and even then only for the very end of their talents. If you're not getting Baizhu then what are you doing? Just rushing through some of the best quests in the game for a boss fight? I mean if you prefer the boss fights over questing then you do you I guess.

  12. One thing that I always keep in mind is that I only unlock character's quest (and hangout events) if I'm very commited on doing them.

However, I have to complain the way Genshin quest locking conundrum, especially if the person has too many quests unlocked and can't do a certain task due to that NPC being needed on another quest. It's kinda dumb

  13. Man now I want a mod for Zhongli's meteor to be the moon, or maybe there is one already lol, but yeah the whole sped up sequence seems like torture. Kinda why I don't want to get back into genshin since I haven't played since tsurumi island? Or whatever the fog island was lol. Mods make it so much more enjoyable for me though 🙏

  14. I hate how you have to do unrelated quests. If it makes the story more cohesive, then maybe, but it's often just a case of '"this character is doing something else".
And I'm with you on skipping dialogue, there's even a part at the start of the latest event where there's a dialogue option that says "you really didn't need to explain all that" 😭 some dialogue really is 'filler' and super boring, nothing to do with anything just some random npc prattling on

  15. The story is literally the whole point to the game. HYV doesn't want you to just be able to skip your way to endgame. Is that so hard to understand? Also, what are you doing in this game if you are not finishing story quests, especially the Archon quests.

  16. Never, but never unlock story quest if you aren’t prepared to sit down and doing them haha and after accumulating it can be annoying. They block you from doing archon quests and some events in peace.

  17. Ngl the only story that usually interests me are the Archon quests and then the Story quests of the Archons themselves x). I dont care about Nilou having a stage drama or Tighnari doing ranger things neither do I care about Cyno judging people because they evil and then wants to punish them. There are rarely characters which stories I like that arent Archons… I really like Kazuhas initial story for Inazuma but the rest of him was kinda…. meh? I also liked Alhaithams story bits but when it got to the academy stuff it was kinda whatever.
