BAD NEWS!! Genshin Impact Developers Are Getting CANCELLED Over This..



In a recent interview of Genshin Impact developers by Gamespot, A number of questions were asked about the problems in Genshin.

But the Answers to these questions were rather disappointing.

there are no plans to add any permanent end game content similar to spiral abyss, because they don’t want to cause excessive anxiety to players and not everyone is interested in spiral abyss.
old characters will not get any buffs to keep up with power creep.
there will not be any new reaction with geo and dendro as to not make the system too complex.
there are no plans to increase the resin cap.
new players will get more tutorials and other optimizations of content.
there are no plans for traveler outfits anytime soon, but they are considering new ideas.
collab characters from other games like honkai impact, zenless zone zero will be considered when the opportunities arrive.

  1. such a great combat system wasted, they have so much potential but they don't care they want to make this game a literal casual gacha game what a shame, it's not like i expected genshin to become that great though, and why would they add spiral abyss if it's make us feel anxiety lol it's pve anyway, why would they even make grinding artifacf with such very very bad rng if it's what they said casual more like chores, I don't know what the dev thinking at this point

  2. I always defended devs even if I hate the company, but after this interview they can go eat a sack of chin-chang shit.
    At least they could be honest and just say "no", but with their BS replies it shows they just trying to lie in our face.

  3. ironic how they say new endgame content would creat anxiety when their whole game model is based around fomo. limited time banners, events, quests, timer challenges etc. how TF would endgame content creat anxiety when it’s there forever an can be done an your own pace. i just lost all faith in this game man. every answer they gave in the interview was just basically no no no

  4. I got into genshin for the combat.
    The combat is a fun part of the exploration.
    For me, wanting to build varied and strong teams is why I log in every day for commissions and resin.

    I wanna have cool fights.

    End game content means stuff to do after the quests that isn't a limited event. It doesn't have to be as hard as spiral abyss, but abyss being the ONLY combat in end game (aside from domains ig) is really disappointing for me. Why make an awesome combat system that doesn't offer anything interesting once I start to get good at it?

  5. Haven’t logged on Genshin in over two months since I started ToF. I played Genshin consistently almost daily for two years but I didn’t look back once ToF got me hooked.
    Each game is its own obviously and I LOVE Genshin so much but it has lost me as a player and a high spending whale because it feels like our concerns / requests are constantly ignored or cast aside.
    This interview was highly disappointing, HoyoVerse proved to us they’re strictly in it for the money.
    I’m sure the game will survive without me and many other players who feel the same way, especially with their new titles coming.. but I do wish things were different.

  6. No endgame combat related content then why even bothered to pull a weapon, grinding artifacts like hell, become gambling addiction to c6 and making it stronger? I mean, do they have awareness about this? Making harder content make grinding more meaningful. They said not much people interested in abyss? Do they realize the reward itself is kinda low that maybe one of the reason people doesnt care of?

    Making billions and spend almost millions on making music, and contribute a lot in collaboration that most people can't get?

    (No offensive tones, just stating my own thought) and I'm glad I'm burnt out from genshin honestly.

  7. This is rather more about the t0xic side of our fandom cause as what i sees, everyone seem normal to the changes and some even feel good of how Hoyoverse answer the interview. It always been like this, most of us like the change and the content of the game, then some "fans" trying to make everything worse and people tent to pay attention to them more then says that it was from our fandom

  8. 0:50 Changes? What changes? They literally said they’re not doing or planning any changes for the game. What we got is what we will have for the next 4-5 years. The developers at mihoyo are textbook examples of developers unworthy of support from the playerbase. They do the absolute bare minimum when it comes to rewarding their players. They don’t do anything to improve the game’s permanent activities. And worst of all, they used their own players to test the limit of what is borderline acceptable so that they can put as little effort into the game as possible. Case in point 1st anniversary was the test and 2nd anniversary is the little effort that is acceptable by public. How anyone can continue supporting these pots of greed is beyond me

  10. Why is there so many people blame hoyoverse? Like the genshin team is the one who made this decision, not hoyoverse, look at honkai for example, more generous in rewards and has plenty of good endgame content (mostly combat) yet it's a hoyoverse product, like stop hating hoyoverse because that mean you hate everything they made even though we are all angry at genshin current situation

  11. I think the developer are more focused with monthly events on top of continuing every story every new patch. I think it's a bit overload to ask for an endgame content when most of their energy are already focused with those things. I don't know this is still an interview though. I don't think they are closing the idea.

    But one thing that I don't like is the idea of bandwangoning with quitting because of this news. Mstashed is in total denial that his audience are mostly genshin players and I don't really see him really getting more viewers outside the game. I just hate this trend every single time that they seem to start this drama out of nowhere and it becomes a big thing when most players are not really into to this drama at all.

    People needs to understand that not everyone has the time to play a game like every single time for long hours a day. I think that's the real market of this game is for casual players. And I think this is where streamers take offense with this because they can't really milk much content from a casual game.

  13. Genshin impact failed in term of understanding the audience, as a business they should listen to the demand of the fans, just like nokia, kodak and blockbuster, they will fall if they keep continue pursue of thia path of arrogance

  14. No.7 can't even playing two or more games and choosing the wrong game then asking for Collab from another game. Shogun and Miko plus Nahida already a honkai Collab that fits genshin gameplay. Honkai only has fischl and that's it.

  15. Ok, why do they take this as an action. It is because they are too careful to make content that might damage the game, think about casual players who barely even play the game but knowing that they like the game, adding more content will lead to stressing themselves out and may lead to rage quitting. Second opinion is for the beginners, they don't want to make things complicated for beginners, adding many contents that will change the game might get them overwhelmed (Learn from Tower of Fantasy, players rage quit because of too much and really overwhelming). Based from their own words "This is a marathon not a sprint", the game is highly focused on storyline, fandoms, memes, live events. They don't seem to follow other Mmorpg heirarchy, but I trust them because they've been the most successful game creator in this era, and it's my FIRST GAME that respect humanity by being world friendly, it doesn't require your money to play(it's your choice anyway), they have innovation, they know how to drop events when players feels down and want to change game, they know how to make this game "Home": you come back for a reason.

  16. To complex lol they made dendro overly complex for some reason pyrp and hydro are not complex but not to mess up hyperblokm etx has to be and as always geo is going to be even more useless nice we got what 2 new geo characters compared to 4 hydro etc

  17. I feel that the answers given arent to be taken seriously. Why announce such important details in just a game journalist's interview, and as with news networks, game journals usually so it as yellow journalism. It would make much more sense if HYV announced or spoke about these details publically like in a livestream or on their website.

    Regarding the answers, I kinda expected much. An endgame content that showcase your strength would very much encourage pay2win and meta gains more emphasis than the unnecessary amount it has since TC became a thing.

    No buffs to old underwhelming characters is sad, but does it denounce the chance sof an indirect buff to them? I dont think so. Xinyan can be buffed by a claymore of Homa, defense to atk, and support characters could be made to make them viable. It wont be as effective though.

    The last of Us didnt have endgame content either and its pretty much as story based as Genshin; it's just that Genshin's a WIP compared to Last of Us which released as a full game.
