Ayato Hp% Vs. Atk% On Paper | Ayato Pre Analysis Guide – Genshin Impact

This is a genshin impact ayato guide showing hp% vs atk% when building kamisato ayato with his new dedicated artifact set – echoes of an offering and when using sets outside of it such as shimenawa. keep in mind things can change due to this being the beta phase.

  1. Nice! Will double-check my numbers as well, as you certainly have a better grasp on this.
On another note, though I am definitely looking forward to that Xiao guide, I'm hoping you have the time to fit in the Electrocharged/Freeze numbers for Ayato as well.

  2. I'm grinding shiminawa because even if I don't get anything good I could still up with some niece emblem artifacts, I have 3 solid shimenawa pieces right now with CV 30-35 but I can't seem to get any crit circlet 😤 for hydro piece I'll just give him the one I have on tartaglia because it has nice substats on CRIT damage and atk%

  3. Can't wait for the new artifact analysis for Xiao, man on a roll with these juicy math!!! Ayato and Yae Miko seem to start a new trend with how they got a little extra scaling from different stats than ATK instead of dedicated stats conversion to ATK like Hu Tao, Itto or Noelle, not sure it would be super prevalent but taking Ayato to Lv. 90 would be a significant jump along with some artifact rolls, still this HP approach might just be a little bit better than Yae's EM case.

  4. Did the math (and re-did after the buff) for Atk% vs HP% but forgot my findings, so seeing this video get uploaded just now was great. Really thorough but concise information.

  5. wrong calculation bro…consider enemies resistence and def, bruh u already made 2 videos and now this..i know it gives you view and that gives you money but this is misleading. don't do that..

  6. It sucks that I have to skip ayato for ayaka and kazuha but it’s worth it in the long run considering ayato is more likely to get his rerun compared to ayaka and kazuha having their second rerun sooner

  7. i was planning to go for a full HP and hydro dmg build on ayato as a sub dps. 2pc HOD + 2pc noblesse. i was planning on using him as an enabler for my other characters like keqing and ayaka instead of using him as a main dps. I already have a lot of main dps characters like hu tao on my roster so i'm starved of hydro supports since there's only 1 xingqiu in the game haha. i'm hoping if i lose 50/50 on him i get mona instead but i can only pray.

  8. This is only wishful thinking, but I hope his passive with his clone is tweaked a bit, because with Ayato skill granting him Wave Flash stacks it sort of renders his clone passive to be completely useless. I'd even bet Ayato users, such as myself will be able to gain full stacks before the clone is even grazed especially considering on use of the skill you gain 2 stacks off rip. The passive being dependent on his clone exploding after being hit I believe (please correct me if I'm wrong), almost turns it into a game of chance. I think a somewhat more beneficial passive tweak could be something like, when the clone is actively on field Ayato gains a hp% boost and will explode after taking enough hits; something like that. Just an overall small dmg gain for his kit but nothing major like his c2. Don't get me wrong tho I still love this characters playstyle, and he looks to be ridiculously versatile able to fit into many team comps. Sorry of this is a little lengthy but thanks for reading, and if yall hold a similar opinion let me know how you'd tweak/change his clone passive. I'd love to hear other suggestions or thoughts.. anyways, happy grinding travelers.

  9. I feel you man. Idk why hoyoverse keeps adding in the nonsense of some bs bonus stat for it to mean almost nothing. Like release these units at their best not with these meaningless bonuses. It might be to help build the units easier so players have more options but I feel like it just holds back the characters imo. I liked it more when characters were just straightforward and it was basically "build this and they'll kick butt" 😂

  12. actually i wonder if the new artifact set is better than shime. consistent 50% bonus vs like maybe 6-8 procs of the new 4 set artifact. considering that the new 4 set can proc on non-crit hits and non-vape hits, i think shime is probably the best artifact set for him. i also tried running some calcs for dmg between att% and hp%.

Average dmg not including vapes using stats shown in video:
    Att% build: new set
lets say the new set procs 7 times.
total scaling% from elemental skill (15 hits in 6s):
    (104.55% + 116.45% + 128.35%) * 5 = 1746.75%
    ((3640 * 17.4675) + (809 * 15)) * 1.986 * 0.5 * 0.9 = 67668 non-crit dmg

    dmg from procs:
    2548 * 1.986 * 0.5 * 0.9 * 7 = 15940 non-crit dmg
    67668 + 15940 = 83608 total non-crit dmg
    83608 * (1 + (72.1%*222.6%) = 217794 average dmg per e

    Att% build: shime
    ((3640 * 17.4675) + (809 * 15)) * 2.486 * 0.5 * 0.9 = 84704 non-crit dmg
    84704 * (1 + (72.1%*222.6%) = 220650 average dmg per e
shime set has slightly higher dps on elemental skill assuming no vapes.

    hp% build: new set

    ((2866 * 17.4675) + (1326 * 15)) * 1.986 * 0.5 * 0.9 = 62516 non-crit dmg

    dmg from procs:

    2007 * 1.986 * 0.5 * 0.9 * 7 = 12555.6 non-crit dmg

    62516 + 12555.6 = 75071.6 total non-crit dmg

    75071.6 * (1 + (72.1%*222.6%) = 195557 average dmg per e

    hp% build: shime

    ((2866 * 17.4675) + (1326 * 15)) * 2.486 * 0.5 * 0.9 = 78255 non-crit dmg

    78255 * (1 + (72.1%*222.6%) = 203850 average dmg per e
shime set has quite a bit higher dps on elemental skill.

in both scenarios (att% vs hp%), shime set has higher dps overall on skill. if accounting for vapes, shime is also likely to be higher since you need rng to proc the new set effect the same time that you vape. somewhat inconsistent dmg on vapes with new set since you now need to pass 2 rng checks instead of 1.

    EDIT: calcs for his burst.

    att%:
    ((3640 * 0.9903) + (18226 * 3%)) * 1.586 * 0.5 * 0.9 = 2962 non-crit dmg per hit
    2962 * (1 + (72.1%*222.6%)) = 7715 average dmg per hit

    hp%:
    ((2866 * 0.9903) + (29870 * 3)) * 1.586 * 0.5 * 0.9 = 2665 non-crit dmg per hit
    2665 * (1 + (72.1%*222.6%)) = 6942 average dmg per hit

so basically you are right, there is no reason to run hp% main stat since att% in just better in all situations.
