I think I am the only one who didn't care much about Ayato crumbs. He might be a cool character and all but I don't even know enough about him to feel that hype. Just because he is a new and shiny character and he is Ayaka's brother is not enough for me to be hyped up. Itto on the other hand has such a fun and unique personality. I will definitely pull for this adorable oni 💕

i'm not sure if this is the expected reaction mihoyo is looking for. they effectively shifted attention to a character who's not about to be on a banner, potentially shifting people's plan from pulling to saving. i would think they coordinate from bizplan to writing/design/sale people, but to me it seems a bit uncoordinated, unless this is really their intended plan and they've calculated the risks from hyping ayato like this
