The only thing I really dislike about overload is the heavy reliance on Chevreuse. You take her out of the party then it's meh. So many high level mobs can't be knocked back so it makes the knock back really not that big of a deal. Yes it's annoying in many cases but manageable. I got super lucky and got Chevreuse on a free standard pull so I been running that comp and while it may not be as strong as a vape comp at the same time it's a really fun comp to run. I been running Raiden, Yae, Chevreuse and Klee. Klee is more so just because she is a unit I pull out once in a while just for fun. Yae more so just throws on some damage and extra electro application. More just have her out so I can use her once in a while. Between Chevreuse using a fav lance and Raiden giving energy off of her burst it does good to help get bursts back.
I have Kaz and he is a super fun unit to play but with Benny I always hated the small ring you have to stand in and even back in version 1.x I didn't really use him because of that. There has been so many times I would set up and then the boss moves or it spawns enemies outside of the ring. Once you are outside of that ring his buff is useless. Yes it is a very strong buff but I hate being tied down to that small buff area. I do use him in my second abyss team but it's so annoying because there are times you straight up need to leave the buff ring. If you can just stand in the ring it's great but I prefer buffs that move with you. Furina, Jean, Mona and Hu Tao is the comp I have done the most damage with. Furina has a solid buff and does a lot of off field damage. Mona's burst buff while short is still sizeable and she helps provide enough hydro for Hu. Jean hits with the VV shred and supporting with the fav sword. It does so much that I often use Dehya over Hu Tao just to make the content last longer.
Sometimes you need speed like in abyss and sometimes you just need to run something you find fun to enjoy the content and not worry about what is optimal. Places like exploration or ley lines for example. You don't need everything to die in a second while you are exploring, doing story or just farming ley lines. Sometimes slow down and just enjoy the content. It helps when you been playing for years like I have x.x.
The hydro slime joke deserves a like just purely for that. That was a good one.
