This OST was one of the best descriptor of the situation. The hopelessness and calamity of the attack and the casualties which are shown to be humans fighting to protect someone they care for or someone requiring protection. Never has an OST truly made me feel the phrase, "War is hell" than this one.
The whole situation had me on the EDGE, gosh! Especially making choices for which area to choose to help. Iβd always check back hoping itβd say something like βthey managed to get reinforcements theyβre okayβ cause I felt so bad choosing
I realized that this was no longer just a game when there were so many bodies lying on the ground that I began to get stuck in them during the battle, stumbling, unable to move on… π
I hope we'll get a proper confrontation between the Traveler and the Abyss sibling over this massacre later on in the story. The last Dain quest was far too "nice".
Honestly, playing this was the most exhausting, draining experience I had in this game…When I think people were complaining about Natlan feeling too "relaxed"…"Where's war? Where's the blood?"…Well, we got it…And playing this as a Kaeya main heavily invested in any Khaenri'ah/Abyss lore proved even more difficult…If this is Natlan…what will the end be?…
On a lighter note: can I use this soundtrack for a commented gameplay? The game sound turned out horrible, I had to remove it and this could make things a bit more enjoyable…
I got back from work at midnight and i thought "maybe i can spare two hours on the new archon quest, what can be wrong…", when i ended all the content… it was 7:30 AM… holy fck.
It's astonishing how strong the messaging in this archon Quest has left a impact in me when it comes to the atmosphere of this song every time I hear it now I cannot forget what I felt when going through it and still hurts listening to this beautiful music.
natlan and fontaine's quests made me very emotional π i still think fontaine's quest is unbeatable but natlan's a close second, i mean, we still didn't see the end but I loved fontaine so much in its entirety. The despair in both situations was evident
Even before the natlan arcon quest started I knew wherever the abyss is it ain't gonna be good if so many people died in fontaine due to flood in natlan people will die from the abyss. 5.0 was just the start this is where the war began
This whole section had me distressed, i felt just like Paimon. I was also angry, thinking "How can the sibling condone such death and destruction, how can you even think to justify all this?".
I was screaming "LET ME USE THE TELEPORTERS!!! I CAN SAVE EVERYONE!!" And then realized this was not just game anymore, i wasn't the protagonist of this world, even if they're NPCs i felt bad for them, i couldn't do anything..
Bruh I totally thought we've lost Mualani when the map shows the Springs area being gradually surrounded by the abyss and ultimately consumed . Guess the memories of Sea of Golden Trees Nahui Mictlan (fgo lb7) sticks long huh
I was one of those people who've been proven wrong by Natlan. I'm glad they pulled it off. Now they have my full confidence towards the end of this journey.

FOR NATLAN
5.0 where's the war? This isn't nation of war.
5.1 :
this OST captured that sense of hopelessness and tension perfectly. had chills the moment the OST played in-game.
Genshin has been known to evoke many emotions in the past
Never thought that dread will be one of them
"Paimon. This is no disaster…
This is war."
genuinely, no archon quest hit as hard as this one. i'm genuinely afraid for what's going to happen in 5.3

Reminds me of Elden Ring, so melancholic and hopeless.

They really did a great job portraying war. The hopelessness, deaths, fear. I even considered that they need to evacuate to Sumeru or something.
My heart broke when i heard this ost plus it did broke even more when Chasca was slowly walking sksk π₯Ή uk that scene

2121 DEATHS πππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Every Moment that makes me cry
The Death Fatui who protects Natlan's mom and child
The Survived Baby Yumkasaur
The Wounded Toto
The Death Of Chuychu

I honestly hope the story continues in this vein. Thereβs not enough gravitas for my liking.
Gaze simulator…
I'm traumatized by Natlan and I have a feeling that in Kahenri'ah it's going to be worse, I'm going to be even more traumatized.
Yeah, i knew we shouldn't trust the "Happy go lucky" Natlan teaser
God i now understand why everyone who survived khaenriah was so f up in the head
"Tragedy is worse when you can do nothing about it."
Bruh I totally thought we've lost Mualani when the map shows the Springs area being gradually surrounded by the abyss and ultimately consumed

Constant shelling…
Radio Silence…
We can imagine the scenery.
