Genshin impact Combat is not just Click Click use skill then click click again no! Genshin combat is about Elemental reaction you can find out more when you play the game.
For more info! Sumeru has 2 sides(which are not on good terms😅) the rainforest section and the dessert section. Like Cyno on 14:42 is from the dessert part and the others are from the rainforest.
9:32 yes! Every place in genshin you would need to walk it by foot! But dont worry there are waypoints(like markers? That you can teleport for fast travel^^)
Thay normally releases a preview image of the caracters on their Twitter a few days or weeks before releasing a caracter teaser and caracter demo
So giving explanation what reactions are: these are the effects that are caused by the combination of different elements. There are 7 elements that are introduced: pyro(fire), hydro(water), cryo(ice), electro(electricity), dendro(plants), anemo(wind) and geo(earth and stones). Reactions are based on the natural processes like when electro reacts with hydro it creates electro-charged water that will continuously do damage to opponents. Or there is pyro and hydro it makes water evaporate.
Reactions are the main gameplay mechanics in Genshin.

Dendro is a new element, its actually been in the game since day 1, but we never had playable characters with the element

– 7 elements, 7 gods, 7 nations.
– The color of Dendro element is green, so Sumeru is green-based.
– Once you get to play, elemental reactions are quite easy to understand as they are based on irl reactions like water (hydro) + lightning (electro) = electro-charged, grass (Dendro) + fire (Pyro) = burning, etc. The main mechanic is to keep applying various elements to enemies.
– The main quests with guide you through each nation so there's no need to hurry to catch up or anything. The game is meant to be played casually, to appreciate all the beautiful things the world of Teyvat has to offer.
– I already planned which Sumeru characters to get so I'm mostly looking forward to the music and scenery. They are gonna be as immersive and amazing as always!
– These Sumeru videos were unexpected, but you can usually guess when they gonna upload new char demo, char teaser, and version trailer since the time between each update is the same. And since Klee's banner is ending in like 17 hrs asia time, they should upload something on Yoimiya (the firework girl, next banner) tomorrow.
Really excited to finally touch grass.
Just play the game and enjoy it at your own pace. Genshin thrives on FOMO. They want you to jump in and rush content because people are further ahead than you. And they want you to spend money on new characters because other players will get them. They put the resources to build these brand new characters in the later regions because they want to hook you in for the long term.
Enjoying it at your own pace unlocks the true beauty of the game. The landscapes, the views, the music. The exploration. Some of the sidequests are really good, and a lot of the characters are fun even if you don't have them.
You shouldn't worry that you can't experience Sumeru right away, you still have the beauty of Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma. And yes you need to travel on foot. It's not that bad, because you discover more things on foot than when you're zooming by.

Dendro has been around since the beginning, but there have been no Dendro characters to play this far.
Devs just didn’t have enough time to work out the full mechanics with it.
Actually Sumeru might be accesible for earlier players (not right from the very start, but somewhere a bit later)
Inazuma is a nation located on the islands and separated from the continent, also closed due to plot reasons
But Sumeru is located on the continent and connected to other nations, so maybe (I'm not 100% sure) it will be accesible, just like Liyue — even when you haven't reached the region's storyline yet. Because right now i can't think of any reasons it'd be closed
But if it's really open, it will probably be highly dangerous for beginner level. Like Dragonspine area in Mondstat: not forbidden to enter at any time, but mobs are like 20lvls higher than the new player

dendro is not exactly new he has always been in the game but so far a character of this element has never been released Sumeru is the 4th main region of the game this is where the dendro god rules
every region is unique for example Mondstadt is a land with artificial mountains Liyue has yellow grass and mountains of stone pillars Inazuma is a set of islands with high elemental concentration and now Sumeru is a dense forest next to a giant desert
So basically, Elemental reaction are Combined elements each with different effect. It was based on Real life logic but with damage and more fictional. Exam, a neutral thing got hydro, You become wet. When you lit wet with fire, You got vape, Which has pretty high damage.
10:40 Most trailers always have a pattern on when they’re released.
For Character teaser it’s usually 5 days before the characters they teased are released.
For Character demos, it’s a day before that
For Collected Miscellany it’s the day when the characters are released.
We also have livestreams which happened on a weekend 10-12 days before the new update comes.
But trailers like the Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser: A Winter’s Night Lazzo and the Sumeru previews are quite random
dendro element actually already in game for the first time, but it's not implemented to the game mechanic yet, one of reason why i love genshin is, the element system was really different from many other game ex: mostly it kinda like water > fire, earth>lightning etc, but in genshin it really different, it called elemental reaction, like when two different element meet each other like in this trailer , if hydro (water) meet electro (lightning/electric) it produce electro-charged reaction that make enemies suffer from damage per second also if nearby another enemy are in wet state(like the enemy touch the water etc) it also suffer from electricity. if u want to know more, if you later playing this game, i suggest to follow tutorial first and explore later. at least u know the basic of this game first..yeah cant wait to see you playing this game…see ya 🙂
The element system really isn't that difficult to understand once you get your hands on it. It's literally just putting 2 different elements together and it does a thing, which is called a reaction. Same thing with the Dendro element except it seems elemental reactions can now also be used to affect the environment and not just combat.
You keep saying you're gonna get overwhelmed but it really isn't that bad. The main story quests give you a good sense of focus and direction and move you along through the different regions. If you wanna slow it down but still get some story you can do side quests. If you wanna just explore then there really isn't much stopping you. The game allows you to go at your own pace most of the time. In terms of gameplay, there's also a lot of tutorials in game.
Speaking of exploring, yeah, you gonna have to walk and run. No vehicles as of now. The only other thing besides your two legs is a glider you get early on, but that's basically it. There's teleport waypoints scattered around the map so you don't have to go cross country the entire game. Tho you do need to activate those teleporters by hand so you do have to explore a lot.
Might sound boring but with how beautiful the map is and the fact there's shiny treasure and enemies and puzzles everywhere, it should keep you busy.
So about banners. In gacha games, high rarity characters like klee (5 stars) are put into limited time loot boxes called banners (1 genshin banner usually last 20 ish days) once the time is up. You can't get that particular character anymore. So when can you get them? The banners are all pre planned by the developers and announced on each genshin patch livestreams. Some characters have really quick reruns while characters like klee and kazuha took a year to even get a rerun. So you need to spend your in game currency well if you are not paying
I don't think there's any way to know when they uploaded a new video, But if you check the twitter for exemple they will announce the live stream of the new ver. problably the next will be the Version 3.0 (or ver. 2.9) Special Program (probably in early August)
