Arabic speakers dying at YouTubers trying to say his name! It's ( El-hai- tham) the name is a reference to (ibn Al haytham. A mathematician, physicist , and astronomer from the Islamic golden age, he's also known as "the father of optics"
You can pronounce it:
Al (as in the "ull" in "null")
Hai (as in how you say "hi" to someone)
Tham (as in "thumb")
Hamham looks cool and fun but I'm still very unga bunga on him. I only really know about using his burst at 0 mirrors for 3 mirrors instantly then after that im kinda lost. There were some good tips here like doing a charged attack immediately after e. Thanks, I learned something new.

I pulled Alhaitham because I can already 36* the abyss so I didn't feel the need to complete my account with other "meta" character. Also, I love his design. However Alhaitham's kit has many many flaws that make him impractical to play and redundant:
1. His kit seems flexible but it isn't really. Quickswap was killed during beta and he only has one possible rotation.
2. His burst cost is too high to balance with the other substats and honestly doesn't really make sense since it is an essential part of his rotation. I would have liked to have it down to 50 or maybe have his skill CD down to 10 so that he would be more forgivable and more flexible.
3. He is dependent on Nahida but Nahida doesn't care about him: his high burst cost (which MUST be fulfilled because it is the core part of his rotation) forces him to play in team with a dendro battery and Nahida is his best option.
4. Generally speaking, I really don't like that every dendro team could just… not have him! I have Nahida and after I unlocked her, it feels like I also unlocked everything dendro has to offer because I can supply everything else (shielding, healing, grouping etc) with characters from other elements. They could have made him a dendro grouper for example of a shielder since dendro doesn't interact with geo and anemo instead of overlapping his role with Nahida's.
So overall I can't say I'm not disappointed. Alhaitham feels clunky to play and dependent on Nahida even tho in the right conditions he delivers some good damage.

Alhaitham's constellations are busted. I won't spoil what they do, but holy ** it's insane.
Mid unit
I've been playing him in a spread team with Nahida, Kuki and Fischl and I was able to 36* this rotation with Alhaitham being at lvl 69 and talents at 4/4/4. Artifacts were 2pc deepwood and 2pc EM while Kuki was on 4pc deepwood and fav sword. He had no energy problems at 138% ER and his dmg was, well, good enough to 36* abyss LOL. I don't see the point in saying that this team is missing an anemo character bc obviously it works perfectly well without one.

I'm going to ask the master of genshin meta, who probably has the same game-play length as I do, which is probably 2 years of genshin experiences.
WTF did I just accidentally pull?! Why is he so Powerful? Did I just pull an end game boss? He just Eff Up that Matrix Boss from the Desert FASTER then Raiden Shogun, which she is at levels 90 and double crown. While Al-Haitam only at 80 with three levels 7 talents. Like Holy sht.
Last 2 days, I can't keep my damn hand pulling for Yunjin Constellation and made a mistake pulling Al-haitam home (suppose to save full-pity for Hu-tao). I was afraid of him being, I'll admit, a Dendro Keqing. But holy fk, he haven't even reach full level yet, started slaughtering bosses faster then any other characters I build in the past.
I miss old days, when characters scaling and passive were straightforward and we could judge characters with just a look at their passive, scaling. In this regard, Ayaka is the best c0 main dps
For the hyperbloom comp, should Raiden be built with EM?

I can pull off 6 consecutive instances of rain blades with him. Just have to maintain 3 mirrors. Here’s how:
1. Cast Burst (Q) with zero mirrors. He’ll get a refund of 3 mirrors.
2. Do normal attacks (don’t do charged attacks at this point), and procc 2 instances of rain blades.
3. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, cast his Skill (E) to maintain 3 mirrors.
4. Do normal attacks again (still no charged attacks) and procc 2 more instances of rain blades.
5. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, now you can do a charged attack to maintain 3 mirrors.
6. Do normal attacks to procc another 2 instances of rain blades. That’s a total of 6 consecutive rain blades.
7. And then you can just spam his infused attacks until his mirrors run out.
It takes practice and familiarity to do this. So be patient. But once you nail this, the satisfaction is so awesome!! 🤘
