I recommend actually going into Albedo's story. It talks about him, his power and everything else. The Dragonspine event really doesnt touch upon how deep his lore goes
I was really sick and completely missed Dragonspine–and Festering Desire–when it came out. So sad not to have that sword.

since you're past ar 20, you can use your keys to unlock albedo's story quest. I would highly recommend doing so before 2.3
You should play his story quest before the update! It'll be fun to see and help you understand before the patch (plus I think it may be a requirement for the new quest anyway if it's a continuation)
I’m mad they left out the KEY thing Albedo said at the very end of that quest about him wondering if the traveler has what it takes to stop him if he went out of control.
If you didn't know Albedo is an Homunculus,his master was an Alchemist as well and basically created him from zero
I like Albsterz's laugh. It has become quite iconic to me just as much as bwaap's laugh.
The events of “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” and Albedo’s story quest will probably continue in the 2.3 update

So there are actually many comments explaining what Albedo says in his story quest, people confuse it to be in this event that's why they they keep saying it in the comments. I recommend you to don't read too much comments as you may be spoiled for the Albedo story quest.
It's Sucrose who's behind all of this in 2.3
The video forgot to mention Pallad then become the most hated NPC since he pushed Sucrose on that event :v
There's also a cutscene at the end where albedo told traveler; "if one day i lose control, destroy mondstadt, can i rely on you to stop me?"
That is a Event Sword, there is no way that you can get that sword again unless mihoyo release it again bro

If you take 4 dragon fangs and take them to that red heart on dragonspine you can turn them into a special crafting item that is needed to forge a 4 star weapon called the spear of dragonspine
The most important part is in the story quest of albedo I suggest you play that so that you will get some important information

Resistance: 50% to physical and elemental damage, increased when in shield mode.
Strengths: Big aoe, Fast attack speed, geo shield, increased defence against physical damage and all elements, regenerates hp if health is under 20%, revives himself after defeated-
Weaknesses: There is no weakness.
Rewards: 1 Primogem(s) + 2 fowl. Also a nice cosmetic (some glowing sphere)

Alice and his master is a good friend, after that Alice become his other mother figure also become a brother figure to klee

hopefully you can do his story quest before the event to clarify some more things, also spoiler alert about albedo's past (isnt mentioned in game yet)
many signs show that the person who created Durin, the rifthounds and albedo are the same person
Just to clarify, that cryo regisvine is about 2 to 3 times stronger and has other merchanics compared to ordinary cryo regisvine. And Tony To, kill it in about 16 to 17 seconds and started the speed run series of youtubers
It's actually like to say, the summary is a bit too brief, and I don't think anyone who doesn't know some lore of rhinedottir and of Albedo's creation. Plus, it doesn't have that iconic line, "Was the two of us meeting really a good thing?"
You should also do his story quest to learn about him and probably also do Eula's story quest before the new event comes.
