A message to the racists in the Genshin Impact community

It’s not hard to be kind. It’s not hard to see people past the pigment of their skin, their nationality, ethnicity, cultural background or race. You are not born into this world with hatred in your heart, that attitude is taught to you, it is learned and absorbed from your environment. You can do better. Too often this message falls on deaf ears.

  1. I want this to be the final video I make on this topic, I don't want my channel to be focused on such disgusting negativity, but it's truly unbelievable how dense and ignorant people are willing to be to protect their own toxicity and self-interests. This is not "drama", this is a serious issue with serious repercussions, the fact people want to let this behaviour slide is incredibly disappointing.

  2. 13:55 it won't if he even gives a shit about either of those channels taking them away is a maybe at best otherwise he'll just disappear off the face of the map and we'll never hear about him again

  3. I'd just like to say thank you atsu for being the voice for the people of the genshin community and genuinely trying to wake people up from their delusions and being ignorant.

  4. I saw a lot of comments from facebook actually defending the streamer (assuming that they have the same nationality), it was appalling how theyre defending him despite the content of his words (may i remind you that they dont even know the context, they did not even bother reading the article about the issue and theyre already brushing off the fact that it was actually racist, they just kept on commenting how normal it is for them to throw banters to each other) They kept on insisting how sensitive can people be just because theyre used to talking shit to each other which i assume normal to them. The thing is, the racism was foking blatant. I cant even digest the fact that people can be this rude most of the time.

  5. I kinda late for the drama, but i really hate the discrimination, becuz it's really disgusting and disturbing my life as well, if i see those group or whatever it is, i better leave and doing my own will to complete the task
Also, if i were Chinese or miHoYo co worker, I'm gonna share the discrimination to everyone without any hesitation

  6. I'm brazilian and i do get some shit for my lack of abilities with english as my secondary language somtimes while playing online, but i never though about it as racism towards brazilians/latinos/south americans. Maybe peopel were being racist towards me this whole time judging me for my english? or atsu is already pissed about finding out anout racism in our genshin community and is salty because of it ? I'm really not sure now, anyways fuck those honey hunter people and get up the god work my man! love your vids

  7. The problem is traditional Chinese ppl are ignorantly racist. Look at what the Chinese government is doing to Uyghurs. State racism is the worst. Mihoyo themselves are guilty. In their game Honkai, Carole has issues with her skin colour and thinks she’s ugly.

Nevertheless, racism is bad, ofc. But the problem is because ppl r in support of racism against some groups but not others. E.g. while black ppl probably racism is most widespread, racism against brown ppl is prolly the worst since they all get the worst label as terrorists (which imo is far worse than being branded as a thief or gangster).

  8. I'ma be honest I didnt understand a word he said. Whoever translates that didn't do a good job. I just hope it someone who barely knows English cuz I'd take mihoyo lawyers over any native English speakers who translate that bad.

  9. 8:31 Chinese companies have been taking intellectual property for decades, making billions upon billions in profit from others work. Its funny how relentless Mihoyo are against leakers when western companies havent been able to do anything against state owned companies in China.

  10. I’m so glad your speaking up about this Atsu! It’s truly disgusting how much siniphobia is present within the genshin community even tho it’s literally a Chinese game..

I can't even finish reading HH's tweet,it just so dumb i'm not gonna waste time on it lol, bruh she outright didn't acknowledge that she blundered and people keep defending her HAHA,they keep trying to say it's not racist and she is not wrong for adressing MHY's inability to speak fluent english. Even tho (by your standard or definition) it is not racist, well then is it really okay for her to insult people's mental health? (Ptsd thing),hello HoneyHunter's supporter? Can u come up? I want to have a discussion

  12. First of all I want to say that I did not agree with the comments of kylo and his chat. but I would like to clarify some things that are wrong in this video:

1- Mistranslation: in the video he said "chinito" and the translator use "chinaman" (if i don't get wrong is a racist term for asian people) but the correct translation for "chinito" is "little chinese", but obviously he use chinese to refer a person who he knows isn't chinese and thats is racist, like call a spanish speaker mexican or say that you are American to refer that you are from USA like you said in this video, so yeah you are as racist as kylo

2- These racial abuse dont come out because keqing it come out because kylo made a friendly tweet saying he was going to react to Tenha's keqing to compare with his keqing in a healthy way, Tenha respond in a rude form saying that they dont have a personal relationship and said that kylo cant react to video only use screenshots i could understand that tenha dont want that someone who he dont know acts friendly with him and try to react to his video but react is fair use, and then kylo dont like the rude respond of tenha and cross the line

3- Say that spanish speakers content creators who stay silent are complicit is so stupid, its like say that atsu is complicit with wich is happening in afghanistan because is silent, it's stupid, talk about racism or controversial topics is not their tematic channels

Some people said racist comments to me as "joke" (they think is a joke but i dont think so) and i dont cry or get angry with them, life is short to spend time bothered by a "joke".
I understand that if he have an audience you shuold tell him that what he said is not right. but from there to wanting him to disappear from the internet there is a big difference, it is not like he killed someone

  13. Yea, not gonna go to honey anymore. I swear it on my life, that if I ever go to the website intentionally from now on I'll soon die from anything
I'd rather not having leak and play genshin like other gacha I played without leaks, than living without morals
That goddamn note from honey is way too unforgivable

  14. Okay trust me, people who are racist won't understand through such kind words of yours. I have personally witnessed a lot of them, especially here in India where currently the hate for chinese and muslims has just been growing exponentially. The people who aren't racist are just too kind and the ones who aren't have very thick skin and don't care at all. The only way to clap back is to get this site shut down asap.

  15. Thank you for posting this video. It actually helped me better understand or how to stand up for racism. I always had a lack of confidence or self respect for myself and because of that I'm slow on many things or how to correct racism. But just watching this entire video really gives me hope and courage to stand up for racism when I see it. Racism is definitely all around the world even in a prestigious country like Japan. but yeah not everyone or in a specific group is racist. I've learned hard reality of things and your right racism shouldn't be ignored it shouldn't just continue to exist. Its disgusting and I'm actually heart broken because of it. I know how difficult it is for you to make this video. I know many Asians are quiet and just want to avoid getting into stressful situation (like myself). And ironically were the victims of our own problems especially in the United States. I've honestly learned so much in this video. I've contemplated life for so many things not just racism and this one touched my very heart and mind. Thank you so much!

  18. All I'll say is who gives a damn about where your from doesn't matter what your skin colour is doesn't matter to me I've grown up around all sorts of groups of people and have never judged them by how they look what skin colour they are I've even seen racist comments about white people just as much as any other skin colour for me as long as we can be freinds I don't give a damn about all of it so I'm just gonna say it people need to grow up and stop judging ik it's human nature but it's just toxic and needs to stop! Love you vids and I'm glad you are addressing this 🙂
