Childe transformation is from the abyss iirc, Signora is her magic so its safe to assume that the "mother" here doesn't have second phase, just a delusion given by tsaritsa
Many shonen does the trope, Naruto also does that trope, even older Saint Seiya also does it, the trope of pitting children against each other and the survivor being the champion is pretty old, I think you can chalk it up to ancient chinese curse method where you put multiple poisonous insect together in a bottle and the surviving one become the ultimate curse.
I’m pretty sure Clervie (Arlecchino’s friend) is the biological daughter of their “Mother”. Hence her question of “Do mothers always argue with their daughters?” It’s safe to assume she wasn’t a good mom and likely even physically abused Clervie. She had lots of bruises and injuries.
I am very curious about how this will be incorporated into her Story Quest, and to finally get a look into how she personally justifies what she’s doing and what she believes in. Arlecchino’s story is looking great so far! I love how the previous Knave made her so ardently detest the very idea or concept of motherhood, and caused her conduct herself in the very opposite manner.
Also wonder why it was Pierro, Scaramouche, Signora, and Capitano present specifically. Is it about timeline, so not all Harbingers had joined yet? Is it about whichever Harbingers were present in Snezhnaya at the time? But wouldn’t that include Pulcinella (the literal mayor of the nation)?
Idk, I thought it was interesting xD I love the Harbingers so I’ll take what I can get lol. This was SUCH a cool video. I can’t wait to delve more into Arlecchino and all the other Harbingers in time :’D Keep it up, y’all!!

also she couldnt have been that young cause Ajax got the moniker/nickname "Childe" from the other harbingers for being the youngest to become a harbinger, and he was about 14-16 (fell into the abyss at 14 and was recruited to fatui shortly after)
i do wanna know the significance of only Scaramouche, Signora, Capitano, and Pierro being there for her ascension. we know Childe wasnt yes since shes older than him and hes been a harbinger for about 5 years. but what about dottore? we know hes the one who recruited scara a LONG time ago, or at least knew him 400-500 years ago, so what was he up to? same questions for the two shorter gals and the very short grandpa.
also sorry im kinda spamming but yall should play the meropide world quest with the little girl and "cater", because cater has almost the same marks on his arms and legs as arlecchino just a little more swirly than geometric
That dismissive comment about "grotesque wilted flowers" was about Clervie and the other kids who didn't make the cut. Good riddance to that false "mother."
That kick held years of restrained teenage rebellion.
Also, seeing Arlecchino (Peruere) still had the curse even as a kid until otherwise confirmed only makes the question of what she is more interesting. Don't know if you guys did the Caterpillar quest so I'll save the speculations.

I'm super curious about the curse and how it works!
Since we knew the gist of this past for quite a while from a world quest, I'm personally most impressed by the song. Hope they do a separate upload on it. I'm sure the in-game storytelling and cutscene will make more impact now after this.
Beside the 'Mother' likely hurting her own daughter and the making of the 'King', my first thought after watching was: Why was she so weak, and with the hairstyle of the dead too lol I guess the harbinger ranking wasn't a thing yet.
I think her friend, Clervie, started the fight, then threw herself on the sword. Suicide by duel.

I'm a huge lore nerd in everything I consume, so I feel like I could write an essay in the comment section right about now, but it seems you also lack critical information and it's not my thing to just drop everything on you without considering your quest progress in general. I can't stress the importance of WQs enough, especially since Inazuma (which has a hidden WQ line which you could do before 4.6 if you look it up). They were always important and there are still loose threads in Mondstadt for example, but the way the writers weave everything together just gets smoother and smoother, Fontaine is kind of a new peak for that. Even Hangouts reached new heights again and again for me, even though I like all of them.
For now I have to bottle up my excitement and keep on glancing at your quest log whenever you open it up in Genshin or HSR to figure out if you have finished something or not. Your more slow-paced playstyle has an upside, though, because through your playthroughs I can revisit certain content at a later time and do what Dottore wanted to achieve – add the variable of time into my thinking 😀 It also gives me the opportunity to perceive the content in a way I would never be able to as just one person.
That said, I look forward to your future uploads and I also really hope that one of Arlecchino's voice lines or character stories reveals the name of the pet spider she had.

The moment the story started I was reminded of Naruto. There’s a couple organizations in that follow the “kill your found family as a final test” line of thinking. As you can imagine, it leads to messed up people. 💀
Lyney has a voice line that tells us he’s secretly been chosen already to be the next leader of the House. That’s most likely what “king” refers to. He’s not a fan.
There are world quests in both the chasm and sumeru with other fatui children that say the moment they have doubts or try to escape the family they are marked for death. One even requests that we do it because they don’t want to die running.

the "super armor" is not "every Harbinger has it"
Childe = his "super armor" is not gift from Tsaritsa aka Delusion but his Abyss power he got after training with Skirk (it's explained in Childe ingame character stories if you unlock his friendship levels). His delusion let's him use electro but he is still in human form.
Signora = her "super armor" is her molten flame powers not delusion. She is/was 500years old at least, she mastered some forbidden magic arts/powers so she can be "immortal" and clean the world of villains/filth/evil people/etc. (since Archons can't do it in her opinion. It's tied to how she lost her beloved one during massive attack on Mond 500years ago) That's why people started calling her cursed witch of flames since she was constantly in her boss form walking around and murdering thugs, etc. Her delusion give her cryo powers so she can regulate the body heat/self-destruction of her molten flame powers that is double-edge weapon
Scara is just lite/prototype of Raiden Shogun. His gundam/robo version is something that was build recently in Sumeru. So he has no "super armor" form. I don't even remember if he had vision during his career as Harbinger.
It was also mentioned that not everyone can use Delusion so it was probably the case for previous Arlecchino. She had only Cryo power and was good with sword.

Childe's Foul Legacy is abyssal power he learned from Skrik, who got it from Surtalogi. Its not a Fatui thing, unless you just meant using a dillusion. If so, not every Fatui/Harbinger has/uses one. Especially they don't have a Vision to balance it out.
@17:10 Her necklace is a Lumidouce Bell, one of the Fontaine local flowers.
Bonus points (Spoilers?): In the description of the Lumidouce Bell is this line; "Lumidouce Bell is said to represent parting and the wish for reunion." and in the 4.6 preview art there is a girl hanging out with the Hearth Trio who looks suspiciously a lot like Peruere's late friend Clervie.
childe's foul legacy form is a abyss thing not a fatui thing so harbingers dont all have that form
I am trying to make sense of some details here like the spider, the cotton balls, syringe etc..was arlecchino absorbing the sickness of the spider? coz at the start her arms were not yet that consumed by the curse.
King means likely the graduate of this round of children before she does it again
