Souvenir shops have an option to trade unlimited sigils in exchange for unlimited mora.
If it was unlocked before maxing out Sacred Sakura, players can accidentally use up all their electro sigils and have nothing left for Sacred Sakura. This could potentially trap the players and stop their progress in the game.

With all that waiting the souvenir shop better have a damn Raiden constellation.
I think we can't fill sakura sacred until 2.5 and maybe sacred sakura will be part of Yae's story quest with that shop

if sigils are to be used as a currency for Billets and Crown of Insights the there should also be a chest respawn hahaha
I wish they'd rework the rewards from boss fights as I've done several weekly fights only to the wrong billets or none at all. Maybe they can also rework the shops as we eventually collect many sigils so it would be nice to buy more billets even if they're on a monthly reset.
The problem is that if we don't get a refund of some kind after maxing the Sakura tree it would mean that we would have max of maybe 300-500 extra sigils.
They just might make us collect some item a kin to the conchs for the Hamayumi bow.
Or they might just say it will never be open and we just can keep giving sigils to the tree and get mora.

Honestly, prototype billets aren't as sought after as the used to be. More and more people are using blackcliff and gacha weapons that are practically much better than craftable weapons. And when you need them, you usually have enough to at least get a few refinements since a lot of player been playing for a long time
