  1. I'm not playing either game, but gacha games are like MMORPGs. Players can do multiple games. They also hop onto the next big thing in the genre. Whether it sticks or not is another matter, as players are trying things out, then starting to compare. We'll see how it goes once the "new" smell wears off. Either way, competition is good.

  2. I will never go on twitter. Twitter is literally just the 5 percent of any community or demographic that is mentally Ill, actually just cancer people who are screaming very loudly. they are very very disconnected from most of whatever community they are bundled into and they are on twitter specifically because that community has basically cast them out.

  5. It's funny that playing Star Rail made me go back to Genshin, which I dropped long ago without even playing through the story. And now, I'm having a blast lol

Edit: I actually enjoy both games, loved the combat in the new game

  6. Tbh I’m still not ditching Genshin until we reach Khaenriah. I’m only playing Honkai Star Rail to supplement what we know so far about the entire Hoyoverse

  7. I don't see it as competition at this time. They can afford to develop both games in term of work hours and money, and while I'm not saying that Star Rail is cheaper it's going to take less effort in the early design stages because there's less research involved. So if you're giving the company money it doesn't matter right now which game it's for.

  8. the turns in Honkai Impact is actually better than the two, Honkai Impact has a brake animation when a character sprints and if you immediately turn around they struggle or trip a little bit first before turning around.

  9. There are people who really love turn based games and thats why they like star rail more. Some people like the action combat more. It's fine for anyone to like what they want. I like both to a point but I like turn based just a bit more.

  10. As genshin veteran and now spending most my time on starrail it just the rookie phase that makes the game fun. I feel the same feeling I've felt back when first play genshin with starrail. It was fun and it still is but after a while u notice it get repetitive.

The main reason i still stick with genshin is the lore and i most definitely do the same with starrail.

  11. The turn around in genshin has to be that way by design, it's an action combat, so your characters need to move swiftly not realistically.
If they made animations of genshin characters similar to starrail then the movement will feel less intuitive, sluggish and jerky. It is by design.
