  1. you see Gavin…this is the reason why i still set my commission on Liyue till now….the lore in Liyue is so deep that it never bored me….also the Yaksha lore is amazing and i hope Genshin Dev would do more Liyue lore developement in future

  2. Hydro kills Geo because two of them are infected, Pyro dies of madness, Electro loses his mind and goes missing, Only Anemo remains, almost retribution until hearing Venti's lyre, fight and find other Yakshas

  3. I love watching people's faces and imagining their thought processes during that part. It's astonishing to see how many of us actually react the same way despite having that thought of "Oh they wouldn't do that, it's not gonna happen,"

But what if they did? That little thought in the back of all our minds couldn't help but get triggered during that moment.

  4. earth is a stationery element
    the others flow and change
but there is a distinction between the elemental energies and the actual elements (
probably why dendro is not included)

    the three gates
    the mortal realm
    the light realm
    the abyss realm

7 heavens (celestia and the 7 primary elements and/or archons)

the world is what is outside this know area of tevat what is beyond the abyss and celestia

  5. This quest has no meandering bs that I see on other quests. Probably my favorite and definitely the heaviest specially for someone who knows what it's like to lose someone close to you.

And also, your daughter (presumptively) is so adorable! Very wholesome duo you two.

  6. I love yelan english voice,it fit her so well. I tried using japanese voice to see what she sounds like and it doesn't really fit her whole sassy..savage and sarcastic attitude,it feel off.

  7. I gave you a thumbs up, but, i hope you heed this constructive criticism. I love your analysis of the story as you play and the stream was going great until the child crashed the party. The screeching during the most important cut scene part was a let down. Please dont get me wrong, i love kids, but , that does not mean i take them to work with me. I hope my comments did not offend you, i am just simply being honest with my opinion of your stream.

  8. You had the same reaction as me with Xiao's scene and Zhongli saving him (I literally put my hands over my head like you), but in my case I also cried, and still cry while re-watching this every god damn time (37 year old guy here). This was so well executed, the team behind all the cinematics and the music is top of the top.

  9. This event was TENSE…like even the scene with Yelan arguing with Xiao over his personal views on self sacrifice, I felt every word exchanged in that scene and I actually felt the oppressive feeling of being trapped in that strange looped reality. Like this is truly one of the best story events hoyo has put out to date.

  10. Very relatable experience. The Bosacius cutscene also hit me hard towards the end. As an adepti, Xiao carries so much burden and anguish, but he trudges forward much like how Bosacius did at the bottom of the Chasm. They're all heroes! 🙂

  11. Three gates = Enkanomiya lore. Human realm, abyss realm, vishap realm; I'm pretty sure it's referring to that.
Interestingly enough, Yae makes reference to the human realm at the end of her teaser, and before that, in the archon quest where she teaches us how to fight the Shogun, she says that "humans are in charge, at the moment anyways…" which was interesting coming from a fox envoy like her. She also alludes to the three realms in her voicelines if I am not mistaken.
Seven heavens may be the seven archons, and yet they are named after demons.
Ying and yang may be the twins. What I can't come up with is the five regions.

  12. I legit screamed out loud when xiao was falling, and during the last cutscene i was sobbing like crazy. boyang i already felt sad about, especially reading the diary when he said how he outlast every and even the yaksha had fallen… and then they hit us with that cut scene! seeing bosacius have flashbacks. damn. mihoyo made me sob twice with the previous archon quest now this one… i've been watching people react and i still cry every time in this cut scene when we see the deaths of the other yakshas :'(
