So uhh… Hoyo took down my Lynette Pre-analysis. For those wondering, I’m probably done with making those pre-analysis videos for the near future, since I don’t know how much I can contribute to the overall discussion of any said characters. Today, I thought I’d do a quick video on why I will be personally skipping the Genshin Impact 4.0 Fontaine character banners. I will be arguing from a the POV of gameplay/meta reasons, so just ignore what I say if you just happen to like any of the characters.   1. I am 100% skipping most of Fontaine except for some reruns as I already have Childe and Yelan. But during the livestream they did say that this new mechanic would only make fighting certain enemies easier and not required but obviously knowing how they handled Dendro, they will shove that mechanic into the abyss

Man i think you miss the info about the arkhe system… They said that if you didnt have a character in your party that has arkhe you can still solve puzzle or fight enemy just fine you just need to find the new element in the field… Basically having a Fontaine character that have arkhe is just like a easy mode.

  6. I’m waiting to meet the character in story before deciding to wish. I care more about who the character is than their kit.

    From the trailers Focalors seems like a pretty annoying brat. Hope there’s more to her. Otherwise I’ll be skipping her even with the archon level powers.

  7. It seems that C1 Neuvillette and C2 Furina will be the new meta. I’m saving for C1 Neu and C0R1 Furina instead because I want the BiS for my archons.

  11. i don't think you should feel forced to pull fonatine characters because of pneuma and ousia if you have powerfull characters you will be fine so please don't pull just because of that mechanic.

  13. I have yet to fully explore chasm, enkonomiya, sumeru and the underground city. I will probably just stick to exploring those and leveling up the statues first and then pull for the big guy or archon depending on whom I like. I only explored inazuma right away because i had kazuha. I pulled him on his first banner when everyone was making fun of him, same with childe. Exploring is much more fun when done slowly with the characters you enjoy.

  18. Ugh, man. The Pneuma Ousia mechanic bugs me a lot. Looking at all the characters coming in fontaine, I honestly don't like any of them. I already set my mind to play 2 teams I enjoy, being Alhaitham Spread (or quickbloom if I manage to get kuki) and Wanderer hypercarry. Playing those 2 teams are the most fun I've had in the game. I'm really struggling rn and idk which character to go for. I've heard rumors because of Focalors eyes that she's gonna have both alignments, which is honestly. Probably the only character I'll consider going in fortaine for. I still need Nahida for my Alhaitham and I'm really determined on making wanderer work and C6 him on the next banner, so I kinda was planning on not pulling for anyone except nahida in Fontaine, but it seems like the new mechanic gonna force me to go for at least Archon.
    But it seems like I'll have more than enough primos to get both guaranteed nahida and focalors… And man. Looks like I'll have to open my wallet to get Wanderer C6 R1… You can't be sure when next time you'll pull another 2 5* in a single 10pull, and its better to prepare for the worst…

  25. I really wanted to C6 Yelan, but this Ousia Pneuma BS is stopping me from doing so. I hope Neuvillette and Focalors can do both Ousia/Pneuma, and for Neuvillette I hope he's OP too. I don't wanna invest in mid Fontaine characters. I wanna have a smooth time exploring and doing puzzles too but ughh.

  26. The fun thing is I will skip all 4.0 banners but I will built Lynette.

    – She is given for free
    – Only Ousia character and I wont wait WEEKS before exploration xD
    – I love her dash

    But the thing is that I'm a rare state of omega og player. I have TOO MUCH ressources. So all the BS about choosong one or other doesn't work for me. But I will not recommande the same thing for a new player.

    You want exemples ? I have 74M moras, 2k purple books and already a very hood VV set for her and a level 90 Festering Desire lol
