I've been hoping for 3 years for a good pyro sub-dps/applicator like kuki, albedo or furina for the last 3 years…
Well xinyan is better than pyro traveler in everything, hoyoverse hates the traveler confirmed
Traveller will get ancient name and there by will be able to get Pyro element
hoyo fumbling pmc would unironically be the biggest fumble of history. no seriously, you cannot redeem yourself after a fumble like that happens.
Interesting theory. I always has my werid theory that absent Pyro Traveller is due "dead" Pyro Sovergin and his hatred for humanity. And we need to do something about it so we have a story with our saurian. All said, we need to collect this amulets (dragon eyes) and go to Vulcano. But I think we will go to "resurect" Sovergin dragon. Maybye not literally but in some way. Maybe our saurian become new Sovergin (lol) because Sovergin power is in land and saurian sometimes inherited it, and this ritual coleted it in one place probably and from the ashes will be reborn new Sovergin. It not exactly be this evil one but his power be inherited. I think dragon in Natlan are not understand by humans and their heatred have some reason. So we will be on this same side and he share his power to Travellers, becouse we are Chosen of the Dragons (from other Nation).
I wish Pyro Traveler would be a good Pyro Support. I’m tired of Bennet, Xiangling and Chevreuse (for Overload) being the only good Pyro Supports. Plus I want to finally be able to actually use the Traveler without feeling like I’m making the team worse.

The finally enemy might be a dragon, a big one at that. As it's revealed in the new world quest that a certain someone faked his death.
And this certain someone is has been the most likely one who brought abyss in Natlan so far.
I bet my ass the traveler is going to be mediocre at best.
He’s the secret 3* character. It’s almost like the gacha company want to wipe the floor with him to mitigate any possibility of him undermining 1% of the sales.
Ok what if…just like mavuika, xabalanque is not dead but trying to time travel into future through the sacred flames and thats why he is the one " entombed in primal fire". What if he somehow manages to show up for the last fight.

Personally I don’t think we will get pyro traveler from the archon quest. My theory is that we will get it at the conclusion of the little one world quest when we take the golden entreaty to the volcano and potentially interact with some remnant of the pyro sovereign directly. The lore from this world quest is way too important to allow it to be optional and locking pyro traveler behind it is imho the best way to make sure as many people as possible finish it.
I think the pyro dragon sovereign is ajaw, he literally said he was a sovereign dragon from the “age of dragons” in the canopy tribal quest😭🙏
Simpler explanation: hoyo ( finally) got thet players could figure out Archon's kits by simply analysing traveller's way of playing certain elements months in advance prior each release, potentially lowering the hype.
We cannot become the Archon for we have to become the Avatar!
He can just be Bennett but works better with Night Soul characters.
i know the focus of this video was pyro traveller but i love xbalanque’s story. i really want him playable but i know hoyo probably scrapped him. i think they planned him at some point but discarded him to be an important side character. disappointing, but still, me and the other 3 xbalanque fans will keep hoping 😭
I agree with the first half of the video, but the second one doesn't really make any sense.The idea that the PMC would be on par with the likes of benny or xiangling assumes that the devs care about making the PMC a strong unit in gameplay, which is absolutely never going to happen, given that PMC will be 100% free (You don't even need to pull cons for them). Like you said though, the traveler will most likely be able to use the scroll set, which is massive by itself and also the reason why I don't see the PMC being singificantly good on their own. Their value will probably entirely derive from being a second free character that can proc the scroll set buff so that players can use it in both halves of the spiral abyss.
Genshin might be a good game, but it's still a gacha game and it is good in spite of that fact, and by virtue of its nature as a gacha game, we will only see a benny and/or xiangling side- or upgrade in the form of a 5* gacha character.

A pyro Yelan sounds amazing and I would love to see Hoyo do that but realistically i dont think they will because.. Yelan exist 😑 not to mention Xinqiou.. which is another Yelan.. if they made a Pyro Version of these characters, the game would practically be Easy mode by that point. Imagine those 3 in a team along with Kazuha 😭 DONE! The game is over! The whole of Snezhnaya concedes and Celestia and Kaenriah crumbles into ruins
Hoyo did The Traveler very dirty throughout the years. Like how after after geo he can no longer deal elemental dmg in his normal attacks. I wanna see that come back with Pyro
It sounds like you are saying the traveler won't become the pyro archon based on the idea that the archon needs to be someone like Raiden or nahida who is well known and absolutely tied to the region
I think the archon doesn't need to be that way, as you mention in the video venti and zhongli and both absent archons with no-one knowing who they are, but presumably they are still the archon to Celestia, even without the gnosis. Pretty sure venti says something like this after getting the gnosis stolen.
As far as I know there is no absolute reason the traveler couldn't become the archon, then mavuika can still be the "ruler" of natlan. The statues of the seven would change, but the people of natlan clearly hold great respect for her as a warrior first

Also a little thing I noticed about hoyo. They really like making moments when their MC gets some kind of Fire based power up HYPE AS HELL (see Everlasting Flames cinematic from HI3 and Cocolia bossfight cinematics from HSR ). So…. Maybe… some gold is coming our way ?

i dont know why but i feel like mauv will die fighting the new boss that's coming as a sacrifice. the energy she lets off will get absorbed by the traveler. When all things are said and done and everyones grieving their beloved archon, like a phoenix she will rise again, less powerful now, and thank us for all of our help. the rest is just poetry
