As of 4.1, for Fontaine playable characters we have 4 male characters including Wriothesley and only a single female (Lynette) so that at least partially explains the last meta change described.
As a waifu enjoyer, i am just glad that the new husbandos in fontaine are getting the justice they deserved after fighting the "husbando bad, waifu meta" allegations. My faith in mi hoyo has been restored.
Am I the only one that doesn't care for the new meta? As a newer player (4 months in) that only has a handful of strong characters and only recently got the hang of good team comps, the new hp mechanics just don't appeal to me. Also doesn't help that I'm a bit obsessive about having as close to 100% hp at all times (also why I hate rifthounds and not a fan of hu tao playstyle). If hoyo forces the player's hand with future abyss changes then I guess I'll have no choice.

Glad with these normal attack characters, this game have some beautiful normal attack animations but never make big use of them.

Surprised that he didn't mention how generous Fontaine is with crystal flies. Though the catcher gadget is useless since you can just farm the crystal flies directly instead of farming material for it.
I don't really like how the meta is shifting to mono elements, I feel like reactions are more fun, and talking about the male characters getting better, also reminds me about us not having a female DPS five star since Yoimiya(or C2 Raiden)

Between Childe and Alhaitham, husbandos have been eating p good even before Fontaine.
With Fontaine, we add Neuv to the list, and idk if I'd call Lyney a husbando, since that usually falls under the tall male side of things, but a Male DPS falling on the higher end of the charts is refreshing for a gacha, where most of the pulls go towards the waifu anyway.
So you completely ignored the fact that Alhaitham, since his debut, was the top tier main DPS? The era of DPS wifus were long dead since Alhaitham's arrival.

The game is also boring. The story is just dragging along with an awesome premise. The twins have been around for many many years and none of it is delved upon.

I mean, the game started with more female characters, so I am not surprised that the meta was more waifus. Now we are finally getting a bunch of male characters in a short time frame and I am very happy about the situation, even though I haven't pulled for Neuvillette as I am waiting for Arlecchino (spent all my primos on Sumeru husbandos…).
Husbandos are shining only for now tough…. after this 4.1 i believe strongly that almost every patch will only have waifus x). Primos are already saved for Navia, i just hope HoYo don't do her dirty like they did with Dehya

I just hope that arlecchino gonna be a super good pyro enabler, we don't have a 5*star pyro xiangling yet. Yea, from a meta perspective, a character that can REPLACE xiangling sounds way too broken, pls let me dream.

Neuvi is really great ngl …. But i don't think lyney anywhere near as good as him …. I mean i have him with the signature weapon but still he's not that fun ngl … In term of dmg he's good but not as nowhere near as hu tao or ganyu or some old dps characters like them.

For Ganyu melt with seahorse boss, I use Nahida, Dehya, and Bennett. Use Nahida's skill, then Ganyu's burst, then Dehya's burst (make sure to hit in front of the seahorse for maximum exposure to its pearl core), then start shooting with Ganyu until the shield is down. Takes about 10 seconds. Once shield is down, apply Nahida's skill and burst, Dehya's skill, Bennett's burst, then start shooting with Ganyu. Works just fine. Time varies based on builds and position strategy, but I'm able to finish the stage in as little as 41 seconds possible.

Pneuma and Ousia are the stupidest thing to come to genshin in my opinion (and let it be known there are a lot of shenanigans in genshin). It's not necessary for most of the gameplay, and when you put it to use, it's not rewarding enough. Fontaine has been quite lackluster to me

You're gonna need to make an update for this video in less than a month when 4.2 comes out. I won't be specific since it's still leaked info, but Furina will be absolutely meta defining.

It might be ironic as you said that hoyoverse bring a mono element playstyle after the reaction mechanism, but I think it's not that bad because now we have more playstyle options to choose. I'd choose to play reaction tho, because watching a lot of numbers in different colors made me satisfied in a way 🤣
Honestly I think it rather encourages different and unique team builds
