  1. I like how Furina theories say she has a split personality but I just think she's like Fischl who's now so in-character to hide her true emotions that she defaults to it and rarely breaks the facade, and the inner her in just a nervous wreck/crack pot conspiracy theorist due the prophecy she's been trying to solve. With her courtroom being practice to finding details that aren't directly seen to find the truth of the situation with very vague information.

  2. 3:47 i was pretty curious of whose voice this is, and this makes sense. When i first saw the "to the stars shining in depths" trailer, i was really confused cuz it sounded a lot like Lynette to me. But after seeing his trailer, i was convinced that it cant be Lynette. But this actually makes sense that its furina, but her understanding side or her from the past or maybe even the former hydro archon. Im so hyped for his story quest to finally come out, as well as furina's so that we can learn more about them

  3. i think this is reuploded, but ill say it again.

I'm glad that the story is shedding a light on the sovereigns and I'm quite excited about it. we can finally rest easy from the kokomi water dragon theories, but someone replied to me that her simps are not over it and just coping to the idea that she's the water dragon.

  4. one thing that stood out to me about Neuvilette, and I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else talk about it, is that he refers to Teyvat as a "planet", implying it's spherical and that "down" is towards the center

  5. That female voice in Neuvilette's head seems to care about him i wonder who that is to him … She has a gentle voice she might be the Old Hydro Archon because we haven't even got any clue about her exept for the fact that Idyia an Oceanid of Fontaine was exiled to the Veluriyam Mirage after her death

  6. I feel like the reason he is struggling with its because he might have come from it and since he did say that all those who came from the primordial waters would later return to them. He might be resisting the effects since he is the Dragon of Water and unlike the humans of Teyvat he is far more able to due to his dragon status

  7. Maybe Neuvillette being the reincarnation of the Hydro dragon is the reason why Celestia is hanging out over Fontaine atm, they found out that one of the sovereigns is alive and feel the need to step in

edit: this would totally make sense regarding the "sin" of the people of Fontaine– they're harboring one of the dragon sovereigns, an enemy of Celestia, and Celestia wants to punish Furina by drowning her people 😮

  8. Maybe he is struggling to hold back the primordial waters because the waters aren't, like he himself said, like they should've been. They are no longer nurturing life, but devouring it. It's basically the opposite of what he knew and understood. Therefore, the threat they pose is immense.

And maybe, in human form, he had not used nor accessed his powers in centuries. He may know they're there, he may bonk people unconscious here and there when they cause too much ruckus in his courtroom, or cause the water levels to rise due to past regrets or a tragic trial. But that is completely different then controlling the waters that originated "much of life itself".

Also, can someone please tell me if someone else other then mr Otterman has ever called Teyvat A DAMN PLANET?? This is sticking to me like a sore thumb.

  9. Feels like a given from the heterochromia that Furina either has multiple personalities or is more than one being in a singol body, with one being the spoiled childish girl we see and the other being the gentle and powerful goddess we hear in the cinematics. She together with Venti are the characters I'm most excited to see developed, because it feels like they are extremely powerful but we didn't get to see their cool side at all yet.

  10. i know that it's not the place to say this theory but i really wanted to say it
if it's true that Neuvillette is a dragon that can also mean that Dainsleif can be a dragon too
i don't really have that much to say about this it just came into my mind in 3:00 or 2:00 am and it sounded crazy for me

  11. Two things: after recapping my own notes, Neuvilette being the hydro dragon is a massive misdirection, a red herring. They're making it too obvious that he's OBVIOUSLY the dragon, while we are forgetting the big theme of this archon quest: a magician's sleight of hand. Hear me now, quote me later; i think Neuvilette is the hydro archon successor. He doesn't have a vision but he can use the hydro element, he seemingly controls the rains of fontaine, and we've seen HIS power when he stopped childe, but not once have we seen the jester that is Furina, do anything besides be a spoiled brat in over her head.

  12. Now I have one question: Furina's design is very controversial, and some say that she has a bipolar personality. Is that kind and wise personality what she received from the pervious Hydro Archon?

  13. A theory I want to bring up is that what if Furina is a victim of erosion. The idea of erosion has been brought up numerous times in the game including the time Zhongli brought up the idea. We haven't met an Archon that has been affected by erosion yet because each one had a means to combat it. Venti stopped it through deep slumber, Ei hid within the Plane of Euthymia, Nahida being a literal fragment of her original self pretty much reseting herself, and Zhongli just being him I guess. Maybe she is going through something similar to Azhdaha where she lost her memories over time due to erosion. This theory is finnicky though because it isn't completely supported due to another person named Egeria who we pretty much predict was the previous Hydro Archon and her place of death being where the massive blue tree is which is also proven during the World quest for that area. But maybe something else occurred and she didn't necessarily "die" but became someone else due to erosion taking her memories and the event that took place forcing her to find a method to preserve herself, while the pool of water and tree was just a result of her powers and not as a result to her death. Maybe Egeria was just another name she went by in the past because it's not a demon god name, it's the name of a water nymph (unless I'm wrong), so she could've still went by Focalors. I'm hoping the next Archon Quests and World Quests can help prove or disprove my theory. Also, for Neuvillette I already had money on the idea that he was the Hydro Sovereign because they introduced Apep as the Dendro Soverign. I have just been waiting for when they finally openly revealed the concept of the Seven Sovereigns in the game ever since Enkanomiya came out, specifically the lore books.

  14. very interesting connections here. i definitely noticed the parallels between neuv furina and ann as well. i missed out on enkanomiya but i think there is little doubt about neuve being The hydro dragon. it does seem like celestia imposed some kind of punishment on him that caused him to lose his dragon form and powers. (actually this idea is similar to what happens to a character in hsr lol)

  15. Inazuma lore in their region is so simple yet the complexity they bring from other nations are wild. Like how Inazuma might have something related to Fontaine again. Just like how Wanderer from Inazuma has relations to Sumeru's Archon and Interlude Quest? This might make Enkanomiya finally be debut in the Archon Quest. Well, technically, Enkanomiya structure already appear in some World Quest from Fontaine so it is no wonder if we will go back to Enkanomiya for some lore expedition. Hope Kokomi will also make an appearance in the quest. Please make the swimming Kokomi in Fontaine a canon.

  16. I don't think 4.1 last scene is about primeordial water, it is the abyss rift from the book that we entered before with collecting its pages in that world quest. This is my theory Melusines came to Neuvilette and warned him about that book and dangers inside of it, so he decided to look there and entered inside of book just like us but this time that huge abyss rift started to influnce dark mud/pollution so he decided to stand against it by using his water beam just like how Harpustum tree was using its dendro beam against same rift in Sumeru and we already know Harpustum tree connected to first hydro archon and first hydro archon connected to Neuvilette.if you look closely you can see the purple rift in front of him not the primeordial sea

  17. Imagine all this Dragon!Neuvillette hype… and he turns out to be something Otterly Different.

If Neuvillette is indeed A Vishap, he's probably one of the "youngest" short of the non-sapient hatchlings in the open-world.

Now I want Zhongli to visit and immediately start treating Neuvillette like a Precious Grandchild, drowning him in very nutritious bamboo shoot soup.

  18. Why did orobashi not want the dragons to return? (Does he know about their animosity? If so why care about the creatures living in teyvat that he was kicked out off?)

Also does it mean during "Archon War" some gods knew about the original rulers of teyvat.

  19. Maybe Neuvilette longed to join human society and/or was weary of their duties and Furina took pity and turned him into his current form. Or he might be suffering from Forbidden Knowledge and Furina turned him human, wiping out his memories in the process.

The reason he didn't remember much of his past, yet still grateful for Furina could be that Furina did him a massive favor in the past, and now he serves her loyally as her Chief of Justice, though that does not prevent him from bringing her down a peg or two.

  20. I… kinda think Furina did what Nahida was about to do and sacrificed her own Time to make Fontaine rise more to combat its sinking while losing most of her growth and maybe maturity as a consequence…
