  5. There is a sixth reason :
    The more you spend, the less content you get and the worse the game becomes, because there is only one thing that makes these companies improve their game or add content faster : if their profits are starting to drop too quickly and they are FORCED to do so. If you give them more money they'll drag things out to be even slower and even less fun because more time = more profit. Look at Genshin, they made $1.5 billion and out of the past 5 updates, four were fillers, only one was actual real, new, permanent content – roughly 2-3 days worth of it.

  6. I dont agree with leaks no matter how they want to justify it. People will not have patience no matter what, they feel the urge to spend no matter what. And those leaks about storyline, how does it help f2p in anyway? it just spoils things for others. Also, its like a fanart artist asking people to not share their stuff on other platform or without them, even if the artist doesn't have copyright on it registered, people dont do it because its not right. The creator says not to do it, so it's not right to do it, legally or not. Meanwhile MHY legally bind testers to not do so and yet they still did it, and people still try to justify for those leakers and even encourage them.

  8. seeing youtubers just do 100s of pulls and not even flinch at 4* pulls is so sad to watch, it’s way more interesting and fun as a f2p when every 4* pull matters, a single con or new weapon or refinement can change how you wanna build your characters and teams not to mention the sheer excitement of finally getting a 5*

  10. I agree, so long as you only spend what you can afford i.e disposable income, it doesn't really matter too much. Do what makes you happy and within the means of what you can afford.

    This means doing all the wise and responsible things like setting aside an emergency fund, investing in your future through education etc.

    Overspending almost always leads to regret, but how much is too much is relative to your income.

  15. Well primogem pricing is retarded. Only the welkin moon has good value, and KINDA the battle pass for some 4 star weapons. However spending money on other stuff is absolutely not needed. It will only ruin the game by making it too easy.

    You just need 8 characters. And… if you played from the start, you would have a team of 8 just from free characters alone. (Excluding amber. She is not a thing🤣)

  22. Another thing is that Mihoyo is incredibly smart in giving out their rewards. 160 primos per pull is not a coincidence at all. They always ensure that you'll just lack a little bit of primo to pull.
    Commission + Welkin = 150 primo, 10 primo short of a pull
    9 star an abyss floor = 150 primo, 10 primo short of a pull
    Codes from livestream = 300 primo, 20 primo shy from 2 pulls
    Other rewards are 30 or 60 primos.
    Anyway, you'll always feel that you just lack a little bit of primo to pull, so you'll have a strong urge to buy their extremely expensive primogems. Do not fall to this deep ravine, guys. I've fallen to it once and climbed back up and believe me, it's incredibly unpleasant.

  24. Please stop with Diluc hate. You talk as if he's complete trash compared to Klee or that annoying prank kid. He does one job and still does it really well. This is just to let people know in the comment section that Diluc isn't nearly as bad as this guy makes him out to be, and I hope this guy doesn't put people off playing one of the most fun characters in game just because it doesn't fit his definition of the "meta".

  29. my exp from many gacha games before really help me when i play genshin. Saving, planning ahead and being patience will more or less get you what you want in most gacha game is what i learn from many gacha game and it work the same for genshin. My first 5 star character was actually Zhongli because from the start i knew he was going to be a playable character so i skip everything until his arrival and i got him easily(even his C1). And thanks to leak, i always have enough time to prepare and everytimes i roll i always get the characters that i want with ease. Sadly i'm not a f2p but i always remind myself and limited my spending in genshin only to battle pass and welkin(only once every month)

Story time i have 1 whale acc and one welking acc and guess what… i got exactly the same things i payed a lot for (diluc + wolf, c6 ning, all the permanent banner 5 stars) on the other acc without spending so much now i just feel so dumb bc if i have waited i wouldve gotten all i wanted naturally… and with more money on my wallet lmao

  33. Light spender here. I spend about $10 a month on the welkin to save primos for characters I like. I am a Klee main (first 5 star) and I still main her even though she is underpowered. I love her design and playstyle 🙂 and I don't care about the power creep. I can play for exploration, treasure collecting and lore just fine. Plus if you optimize your weapons and artifacts, she ends up being pretty damn powerful at C0. Thanks for the video and tip. Appreciate your concern for your members/viewers

  34. Also I think it’s more of the fact that spending money still doesn’t make the game feel better better. After spending thousands of dollars for C6 Eula you still are gated by the timer dandelion seeds for her ascension. You still have to waste your time on bullshit. Same with weapons. You can pull till you get R5 wolf’s gravestone but good luck using unless you grind enough ruin guards to get the drops to level it up. And let’s not even talk about resin refreshing to run domains only to get flat defence on rolls. This game has a lot of problems that you think money should be able to solve but nope.

I mean a couple of bucks for the monthly pass is dirt cheap and I'm planning on playing genshin for the long term anyways I think people overlook that yes they profit a lot from banners but it's fine for you to want to throw some tips to mihoyo for the experience that they brought you. Ofc it's not necessary but I think fine to give just a bit to show some support.

Many people agreed that if you become too powerful (getting max constellations or 5* weapons) and can one shot very enemy of the game it becomes boring, I spent the first month F2P, since the welkin is only $5, and I was enjoying the game I decided to buy one as a "thank you developer", since with the blessing you can do on average one pull per day, I got hooked in keep buying it, and when I got kequing I decided to buy one battlepass for the black sword.

    I made a second account so I could try the other gender traveler, did the Dvalin quest, and then only logs when a new code for free pimogens it's released, and in that account I got kequing and Zhongli, so yeah, you absolutely do not need to spend money to progress in the game.

    Checking my Google play history I've spent in total $50 in the game, I think I'm going tot stop here, the part I don't like about the blessing is that you lose the daily bonus if you don't log in, so it adds pressure to log every day, I don't see myself quitting because I still enjoy the game, but I want to be able to take a break for a few days from time to time without thinking that I'm losing the bonus that I have already paid.

  39. If i wasn’t lucky winning 50/50 plus the back to back 5 stars twice, i might have spent some money already. But hey luck is on my side and have 7 five stars now. Hope you guys get lucky as well either you are a whale or f2p
