She's old, that's literally all to it. There are newer characters now who do what she does but since they're new, they have more popularity

I don't have her because she is just not the type of character I pull for but I often hear that she is is boring to play after a while. I can't tell for sure, just what I heard

Too many new characters that over shadows the old ones. Happens all the time. I still use her to clear abyss. Outside of abyss I use Yelan instead to explore. Still love Ganyu tho. Baby Ganyu is so adorable. ❤

I still run ganyu and have mained her since release.
I saw like a half of my abyss squad on the screenshot (probably because I don't own many 5*, but I would still proudly take Kaveh and Barbara with me)
I want ganyu
I think it's a combination of new character bias and power creep. People perceive Ganyu to be less powerful because she's an older character
Her playstyle, like xiaos, is incredibly unpopular. Its niche, repetitive, and doesnt take much mechanical skill to establish a good dps output. With the addition of so many new characters, her remaining popularity is usually almost entirely because of her iconic appearance.

Ganyu is strong but I don't think a lot of people would like to use her simply because she had become basic over the years. I mean we rarely see anyone actually use a bow character in teams like a long time ago. Maybe in the future she might come back to people's parties but right now, I doubt it..

No Ganyu buffs from Hoyo compared to Hu Tao and Xiao ig. There are also better options available now sadly and they do better with more vertical investments too. It's sad for me since I played the game for her.

Mainly bc newer characters are just catching people's eyes. Plus with hyperbloom becoming the better reaction also adds to it
She is my least favorite character because, to me, her blue and red don't seem to match… so I am not even interested in getting her.

Because her play style isn't the best comparing to the new strong characters , i mean some characters can deal damage faster than her or can deal damage with out getting disturbed by enimes
