You know Chiori solo drip was not on my bingo card for drip marketing for 4.5. Inb4 they’re holding out something
Considering their explanation for releasing Cloud Retainer the next one has to be Madame Ping or Guizhong as we didn't see designs for Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper unless they give it in Lantern Rite cutscenes this year.
We get 17 a year so counting Arle, we still have 3 unknown characters and not that many patches left. Maybe they decide to give us a new character on the last patch so it won’t feel empty???
6 characters in what 3 patches (assuming we keep the current schedule for AQ) for the end of Fontaine isn’t that bad I guess (unless you wanna save)

I was expecting they'd reveal another character that we've never heard or seen before like they did in Sumeru but it looks like we'd be getting only Chiori and hoping Albedo would rerun with her, I've been wanting to get him for a long time now

its so hard to choose. I'm really hoping to get Arlechinno, Sigewine and Xinyuan. I just want to reunite them with their loved ones. Putting Xinyuan in with Ganyu and Shenhe, Sigewine in with Furina and Neuvillette and finally daddy Arlechinno in with Lynette and Freminet would be my dream. its an expensive dream but a dream non the less

I actually was surprised by how much I liked Chiori in the event quest. I don't know yet whether I will try pulling for her though. Kind of depends on whether I end up trying to pull for Cloud Retainer (on the fence until I get to try her out) or not. Also whether she's a four star or not. If she's a four star and running with a character I don't want (and pretty much the only five star that I might want to get cons for on a re-run is Kazuha so if it's not with him I probably won't pull, lol) I'll probably just wait until she shows up on some other banner or I get her off the standard banner or whatever. If a five star…she's in the same boat as Cloud Retainer, I'll want to see how she plays first.

Personally nothing about her every struck me as 5star material lol. My gut feeling is that she’s a 4star Geo support for Navia, since we haven’t had a 4star Geo for years. We’ll see once more info drops about her!

The event did a lot to build my hype for Chiori, which was pretty low initially based on her previous mentions. I'm also skipping pulling for 4.4, so I may try and go for her if she ends up being a geo support, especially if she works well with Navia

I really hope she does something like buffing you baswd on the number of geo constructs you have. Or mabey destroy all active constructs to do a big nuke of damage, since they tend to break anyway.

I don’t think the other adepti will be made human, based on the video of them talking about cloud retainer it seemed that they simply underestimated her presence in the story. Also one of the other adepti (i think moon carver) has same VA as zhongli with very few lines so probably not

Since the x.6 patch is USUALLY when Archons get their 2nd story quest, I assume Neuvilette and Furina will both be re-running then, and I would like to c1 Neuvi. I'll wait and see what Chiori will do, but so far planning on skipping her. I do wonder what will happen in 4.5 now though, since it is only Chiori coming. Will we be going back to Inazuma? Is there gonna be a Windblume festival this year? Is Dain gonna come back this time, or later? I have no idea what could happen.
I am DYING to know how the vision hunt decree affected Chiori since she has an Inazuma vision. If she left prior, did it affect her at all? Or since she already left, was she basically seen as like deported? There’s so much to explore!

I already liked Chiori's straightforward personality during the event but she's breaking my wishing plans on owning every character because she's NOT supposed to be on my main but if I like her too much, she'll compete with Arlecchino and Clorinde. Those two are a huge must for my main 🥲 Plus she looks so cool with the dual blade… I do hope she can use the Cinnabar Spindle cuz I ain't pulling on the weapon banner xD

Could be just me, but dual wielding? cool af, one of them would be her signature and other an elemental sword(like how alhaitham creates one sword using dendro) or use just another model specific sword(like how mika uses crossbow or chevruse uses her own musket).
but the sword in the drip does not look like a five star sword, infact it looks even more basic than most 4 star swords. I m sure we will get a five star sword, and either one of these would be her other sword for dual wielding or she ll create the other sword via elemental energy
