"I dont wanna k ow who got jiggy with a Melusine or Elynas" LMAOOO 🤣
She most likely is just a full-blooded Melusine, but Hoyo just doesnt want creatures to be playable, so they have to look human somewhat, and thats why she looks like that. Cowards of them, I know 🥲
I have a crack theory that the primordial sea is somehow being created (or at least made unstable) by the hydro gnosis. My ONLY proof of this at the moment is that Neuvillette can control the primordial water and the gnosis might be at the fortress (same location as the sea)
I'm surprised you never mentioned that Neuvy straight avoided answering our question about who the Archon is
My thory is that the "abysal whale" we se in Childe's dream is actually the origional hydro dragon, and might also be who Neuvillette is talking to at the end of his cutscene, which makes me wonder what the conneection between the abys and the primordial sea is. Given that Childe is on this whole quest to understand his past in the abys and it's leading him down to the bottom of the primordial sea, I can't imagine the two aren't at least somewhat connected.
Thank God you're hear to help us all process everything
I also thought of Furina split either in 2 or 3. Furina herself, the oratrice if 2 parts, or something else that’s pushing the primordial sea and the prophecy if 3. The oratrice prob has the gnosis and it’s prob where most of furina’s authority is hidden. The embodiment of justice and the ability to judge the citizens. Everyone’s emotions and energy gathers there. And it’s proximity to the fountain of Lucille (were all of fontaine’s waters converge) are a hit suspicious. The 3 thrones are also near this location as well. Looking forward to the next part of the story to complete the mystery.
i think that she’s gonna give her power back to neuvillette in order to stop the primordial sea from rising, foreshadowed by when neuvi said that he would need his power back from the archons to stop the prophecy
The gnosis is inside Neuvillette's cane.. (based on his voiceline)
the theory of Furina not being the archon yet can be supported by the fact that the hydro cube doesnt look eroded by time (no cracks)
Its me, I'm the hydro Archon everyone😔🖐

entertaining the triplet theory and incorporating pneuma and ousia, there might be three different “versions” of furina
pneuma, ousia, and pneumaousia, which has been shown to exist in the open world
she's definitely split into two or has a counterpart who has the gnosis. lyney said he heard a voice when he was going to inspect the oratrice and ran away because he wasnt expecting someone there. and the things she was saying when she was standing up for herself against the knave didnt seem like a lie. she said she was actively doing things to protect fontaine but when asked, couldnt say what they were, right?
I really like the relationship Neuvillette and the hydro archon have (both previous and current) maybe Celestia is punishing Fontaine because they've been hiding Neuvillette as a political refugee. As the new archon Furina is incredibly more doubtful and insecure than her predecessor doing plans that aren't the right thing but still kinda work at the cost of her strength, she's done a lot for Fontaine's safety but because of that she's become vulnerable and weak.
Great theory and video ! Merci Minsleif ! I believe Furina is the Hydro Archon but she made a huge sacrifice by separating her gnosis from her, creating a reflection (Furina) on one side, and on the other using all her gnosis power to obtain massive power from the trials to fight against the primordial sea water (hate from the past OG Hydro Sovereign). What is your crazy theory ? 😉
Wriothlesleys eyes are so blue 💀💀💀
When Neuvillette's dragon status was confirmed, bro I was screaming. It was such a relief they didn't drag out the "Is he a dragon" question to 4.2.
why dont you have channel members minsleif?
I think Furina trapped herself in the Oratrice using the powers of the Gnosis or her own, people being judged will allow the Oratrice to receive powers and transform it into indamnetium. so both the "sinner" who have being judged to be guilty and the people who watch the trials will help in taking care of the primordial waters. the innocent give indamnetium while the guilty are sent down to the prison to work on keeping the primordial water in check. Furina might didn't get enough indamnetium energy to stop the primordial waters yet. Furina was begging for her life because if she died there all of her efforts will be gone and people would be in actual crisis because in that body she's too weak and vulnerable if she already have all her powers and consciousness inside the Oratrice
I think that farina was created by the primordial sea by her twin, whose conscience is in the orbit Reece and farina is just a place holder for the real archon and she’ll probs have an emotional moment with her twin, where she breaks free, and says that she’s more than just her twin’s placeholder, and it will probably be emotional, kinda like when nahuda hugged herself
actually it makes sense specially during the final part of Mondstat Archon quest where venti gave some of his power to Dvalin giving back some of the original authority
The dude at the start of the Archon Quest that looks at the Traveler and Paimon Suspect, is just an informant for the Hydro Archon. You can see him next to Furina during our First encounter with her.
so since we got the pew pew hydro gun from neuvilili (idk how to spell his name)
trav's anemo tornado (from dvalin, you can see him summoning tornados)
trav's meatball (idk is zhongli a dragon?)
trav's electro pendants (i dont even use this.)
trav's dendro spray (dendro kaeya??)
The theory I have is that the abyssal whale is the source of the abyssal water and that’s why he was judged by the oratrice skirk says the whale is inside him and Childe was acting differently before going to the opera house could the whale is influencing him or even controlling him explaining why his vision didn’t work his will wasnt his own so when the oratrice judged him it wasn’t that he was guilty the the whale since it’s the origin of the water so he did dissolve them just not directly
So what will happen to childe now that he’s escape from prison where is he now is he going to return home cause if he’s goes back to snezhnaya he’s not going endanger himself but the life of his family and his little brother too or still looking for his master but by doing that will make his life is going to be a lot worse than death itself just like zhongli said all powers must pay the price so he must pay as well for running away from his crimes instead of facing them head on.
Act III was really slow, honestly, and killed some of my enthusiasm, but I loved the lore drops in the next act. Not to mention I have been dying for some juicey Arlecchino lore. I appreciate the summaries as always!
You’re truly a blessing minsleif, I quit Genshin since the start of sumeru due to being burnt out but I wanted to keep up with the lore cuz the world building is still amazing. Thank you for making these vids
I don't know but I have that feeling that Alice will reveal herself somewhere 4.9 when things is about to get serious for Fontaine.
and Mona might also come back to fontaine to check if her family is Ok.
I also have a feeling that Alice may be holding the gnosis. that might be the reason why she is so powerful.
the archon is the oratrice
One thing I haven't seen people mention is that Neuvillette calls the Hydro Archon "they" for some reason.
Neuvillette is the true archon to me, I really don’t like Furinas personality as a character. Neuvillette is just so epic as a character, he checks all the boxes as a leader and his kit is AMAZING.
Is dvalin not part the original elemental dragons?
new subscriber and can i just say, that moving art of you and dainsleif in the start of of the video is so gorgeous
i personally like the idea that furina is a immensely powerful archon but that she is deciveing the fatui into thinkiung she just a defenceless little girl to protect herself and more importantly because she finds it funny , i think this mainly due to her design reminding me of a jester or circus act who just is in everthing for the fun and nothing else.
I have to say, Ive seen several video of yours and really appreciate how in depth you get with all the lore, You also have a very soothing voice thats nice to listen too👍 Great Work
Furina having two personalities, pneuma and ousia, makes perfect sense.
Why? Because clearly its stated that she created the oratrice even if she knows next to nothing about it. I believe her pneuma and ousia, while they were one, created the oratrice, and then split off, one carrying out verdicts to ensure there are people protecting her secret that will call people it needs, and the other, the furina of now, creating ridiculous rules to put the people who have the ability to protect her secret into the fortress of meropide.
Which is why so far, from what we've seen, the fortress of meropide is nothing like the prisons we usually see, and is full of repenting sinners, similar to the previous hydro archon contingency plan for the primordial water. I believe furina's counterpart in the oratrice is also the one that posseses the gnosis, and thats why in the trailer they call it alive.
And this is why while furina is really the hydro archon, she is just half, and does not possess the gnosis. And since the current hydro archon does not possess a body, it is simply impossible for her to weep, which may also be a way to prevent the prophecy? Idk just maybe.
My own little theory has been that Furina is the Archon we just haven't met the real one yet. we're seeing a body double set up as an act, another layer of misdirection, that was set up to confuse anyone digging into her activities. that's why despite being a supposed god she was left unprotected for Arleccino to attack. that's why shes so ADAMANT in her argument with Arl that she IS doing something but she has no idea what. almost like shes getting offended on the behalf of someone else
About the part of childes final vision clip the vision looks more like its absorbing primodial water energy as he is inside the water so he must be geting powering up from the giant beast and his vision conected in a mental level stores the power
Just finished these quests today. These were probably my least favorite archon quests so far. The fortress was a neat idea but a huge fail in execution. It's like they wanted to do a Persona thing with times of day and choosing what to do with your time, but then railroaded the whole thing anyways. And good lord was the fortress way way way too big. So much time spent running around in these enormous empty spaces. The story did get to some interesting bits in the end, but the vast majority of it was a meaningless slog. They couldn't even let us do the fighting arena in the prison to break up some of the constant running around and talking to people…?
These quests felt like they were directed by an overeager intern. Some neat ideas. But implemented terribly.
Could it be that the Hydro Gnosis is in the primordial water inside of the Fortress of the Meropide?
I dont see how this is wrapping up in one act, unless it's as long as two acts. Things still feel too ambiguous and if they just dump it all on us at once, in one normal length act, it will feel rushed. Based on the current pacing, we need 2 more acts or 1 long one.
Love your vids!
We'll have to wait two months until we confirmed that it's true
4:22 cringe tf idiotic -_-
16:21 cringe tf idiotic -_-
19:19 in the Fortress, there's a three-headed dog
From the voice-over "More about Neuvillette: III", it seems to imply that Egeria might have caused some of the current troubles?
Keep in mind Whenever we see a Vision on a Character its 10000% Confirmed they will be Playable at some point in the story
I was thinking that maybe Furina is only part of the real Furina as she seem to not know many things.. Something like Marry-Ann and Ann. But I have no clue where could be the rest. Maybe part of her is trapped in the fountain for some reason..? Or hiding somewhere with the gnosis? In the Oratrice..? It doesn't make much sense but I can't let the thought go
