  1. A small correction: The Inteyvat flower was most likely placed by Halfdan(as seen in his cutscene) and not the abyss sibling. So Halfdan may have been carrying it for 500 years with him instead of "the abyss sibling visiting Khaenri'ah" scenario that I mentioned.

  2. I think the reason why Lectors/Heralds didn't erode that much compared to Serpent Knights is because former mostly live in abyss or abyss portal networks. They come to mainland Tevyat only to execute some kind of plan. Hilichurls and Serpent Knights on the other hand live outside the abyss, hence their erosion is stronger. However since Knights only live in Chasm(as of now), which is very close to the healing water, they are able to keep some of their self awareness and intellect. Hilichurls on the other hand live far, far away from the Chasm, therefore their minds are completely destroyed. Also notice how higher rankings monsters of Abyss Order(like Mages and Lectors/Heralds) use hilichurls as pawns instead of Serpent Knights who are more powerful, because they know Knights have intelligence of their own while hilichurls' brains are blank slate, so they can brainwash them as they wish. Abyss Order wants to avoid any mutiny that might happen if they use Serpent Knights or other monsters with high intellect we don't know about yet. It can also be said that the soldiers in the Royal Guards didn't erode much because they were highly trained combatants compared to common folk of Khaenrriah who became hilichurls because of the curse. This can also mean Kaeya belongs to the family who served the Royal Guards, and probably one of his parent wasn't from Khaenrriah and that's the reason he isn't affected by the curse that much if not at all, but he had to lose his one eye in the process. Also probably he also possess that "it" Dainsleiff talks about to keep his intellect intact, perhaps passed down to him by his parents who were ready to sacrifice themselves (by dying, or worse: by becoming hilichurls) so that he could survive as a normal human. And the reason why they chose Monstadt for his upbringing is because it's the land of freedom, where all kinds of races coexist peacefully.

  3. One thing I noticed after the quest the dying hillichurls on the inverted ruins became/consumed by the dark energy and when you investigate it will give you the same drop when you killed the hillichurls, hope they died in piece.

  4. Wut I don't understand is why the abyss twin was blaming dainsleif for not saving khaenri-ah 😕
Dainsleif is…was a human while khaenri-ah had to face 7 archons and possibly celestia and the sustainer…..wut can a mare mortal can do in that situation…
The twin anger towards dain is kinda stupid…unless dain is an almighty God that can beat all of em but didn't do it..lol

  5. What you meantion when talking about the differences between Abyss Twin's definition of 'Khaenri'ah' and Dain's definition. Reminds me of how Ei and Makoto viewed 'eternity' in different ways. Ei's eternity was also very material, a literal unchanging stasis so the country would never fall, while Makoto's was more ephemeral and immaterial, harder to grasp at and explain.

Also, while I don't think the Abyss Order were the ones to flip the city, I do think it was some extremely magical or supernatural force keeping it flipped. Potentially connected to the Skyfrost Nail or Celestia. Otherwise, the fountain water would probably turn into a waterfall and flood the lower portions of the Chasm.

…Also while I do agree that the Teleport Waypoints are probably way older than Khaenri'ah, dating to perhaps the Primordial One's unified world… would it be incorrect to speculate that the Abyss Order Portal Network works the exact same way as the Teleport Waypoints? They waypoints themselves are stationary, but can only be used by specific people(the Traveller), and it allows them to go anywhere in Teyvat they please, so long as there's an active Waypoint or Statue of the Seven on the other end. Perhaps Abyss Twin took some inspiration from the Teleport Waypoints?

  6. What if the abyss sibling went with dainsleif in a quest to find us the traveler but then something happens, lumine’s trust for dainsleif starts going down(maybe the abyss order manipulated her/him or idk they make something)and then the whole khanriah cataclysm comes, lumine sees dain fail epicly, see how everybody gets cursed, she blames dainsleif for everything that happens and then she/him starts her/his new quest together with dainsleif?but hey that’s just a theory,A GAAAAME THEORY

  8. I just thought of something about dainsleaf having access to Abyssal power
The garbs he wears in any apperance could heavily be seen as a similarity to the Abyss herald we first see…
Could this mean that the curse still affects him enough to change his physical apperance to that of an abyss herald?
Or, if dain was still with abysall traveler after the fall of K’hanrea, could he have been part of his/her army, and chose to leave after realizing the danger they posed, and the means they were willing to go to for revenge

  9. i'm prob realising this late but is hilichurl language khaenri'ah languages? that or abyss spell thing so ella musk is re discovering practically a lost language

  10. Wait is that why the sustainer attacked the siblings? Because Inteyvat represents being from Khaenri'ah and as Dainsleif says any identity from Khaenri'ah is enough to curse them?

  11. Imagining the abyss twin in despair calling out to the previously "sleep" traveler when Khaenri'ah was destroyed is enough to flood my eyes 😢

But alas, the traveler woke up 500 years too late

  12. In Ekanomiya and the Chasm, the Seelie Statues are not worn down like the Rest of Teyvat, they are intact or look newer than the rest we encounter in the game… the Chasm might also be an area that doesn't follow the flow of time normally. The people that work these have a "higher vitality" they the rest of Liyue.

I also think the "Second Crown" in Celetica can't control the elements. That might be another reason the Archon War was initiated to bring the residents of Teyvat under their control while culling the other Gods that might pose a threat to them.

I think that the Heralds and Lectors don't feel the same pain with the cleansing but because they have given themselves to the Void/Abyss power as a "narcotic" of sorts they are numb to it.

  13. 6:10 Wait, how do we know what Dain's constellation is? :0
Also, 8:40 THANKS 🙏 I've seen many people take it as "Dain lying to Halfdan to let him pass on peacefully", but to me it seemed more like Halfdan knowing how bad everything is (come on, dude's been alive and at least somewhat aware for the last 500 years), but still reassuring Dain that as long as the latter's still here, one cannot truly claim that Khaenri'ah fell.
And a question about teleport waypoints (18:40). Was it ever explicitly stated in-game that only the Traveler, and no one else, can use them? Because the description for portable waypoints says that they offer convenience to Vision bearers, so would it mean that anyone capable of wielding elements can use teleports? (Unless the portable version has its own rules, compared to existing waypoints)

  14. I think “it” is hope. It’s why that Abyss Mage that controlled Dvalin had a brain enough to be convincing. People can also negotiate with Abyss Mages, so the hope they get is brought through the branches they carry of memories of prospering Khaenri’ah.

  15. Not sure if anyone actually read Durandal visual novel(Visual novel that is under canon story line of Honkai impact). I just realized that quantum state(commonly represented with violet or blue color that somewhat looks like galaxy) somewhat resembles the effects of dainsleif. From the visual novel, there's a character that conceals this partial quantum state when she fell in sea of quanta using a MASK(just like what abyss people are using). Thus, I think if these two game might converge at some point, erosion is actually quantum. While ley line is connected to imaginary tree, which totally counters a quantum. Not sure if I explained myself clearly but, the similarities is too clear for me to neglect🤣

  16. I think I saw one of those statues surrounding the fountain in one of the chasm's tunnel. Maybe it's madela effect but I thought the one I saw has a head, a hooded woman, like the welkin moon.

  17. Some key points I wanna raise:
    1. If Hilichurl Language is indeed derived from that of Khaenr'iah, what if, by some extreme chance, Ella learns about the reason why Khaenr'iah was destroyed by Celestia? Wouldn't this pretty much make Mondstadt a target of Celestia? If so, what would Venti do? Given that he witnessed a rebellion that took down a monarch, will he also rebel against Celestia? If he does, will Istaroth be able to help (Given that the Wind and Time are somewhat connected and that the fact Istaroth also helped Ei in saving Inazuma)?
    2. Katheryne once joked that she goes around the same way the Traveler does aka the teleportation device. Is there some truth about this? If there is, wouldn't that make everyone in Teyvat capable of using the teleportation device as well? Is this how we are able to teleport our characters across Teyvat?
    3. How does the teleportation device really work? Is it a point A to point B basis? Or is it like a network as well similar to portals of the Abyss Order?

  19. It's always hard to know what is solid leads and what ain't due to localization inconsistency and lackluster story replayability. (even when they fix shit, most frontline players are unlikely to see it)
