I have a few theories of my own!!
1. After the previous dendro archon died, part of Sumeru became desert due to his death and the affects of the cataclysm. Now the people who live in the desert are fighting with the people in the rainforest. This could be for a variety of reasons, but one that's coming to mind is religion or some other political dispute
2. Kusanali takes on a child like form because children are naturally curious. People tend to loose that sense of curiosity as they get older, so she chooses to look like a child
3. There's definitely some Kaenri'ah shit going on in Sumeru. No doubt about it

as an ayaka main exploring sumeru would be a pain for me
uhh if i remember correctly maybe the explanation to the dendro archon being able to just appear in peoples mind relates to how dendro slimes are able to duplicate themselves? I mean geo slimes have shields like zhongli, electro slimes always have a yellow twin with them like how ei had a sister, so maybe thats the reason?? idk
In teasers or spoilers they say a new sword was going to be given out for free and im not super sure- but the sword looks somewhat similar to the one Kazuha was repairing.

The Kusanali voice at the livestream seems more like a fourth wall break to me.
Because it appears spontaneously after we see the 2.8 islands and after the stream goodbye, she appears in a black screen, and after she tells us about giving us some knowledge, the sumeru trailer shows up, and when it finishes, she talks about meeting her in the future.
So, in my opinion, she's talking to us, the travelers who watch the livestream(so, the players), breaking the 4rth wall because she's with us watching the livestream and intruding in it. Remember that Mihoyo always call us the players as Traveler too.
If those dialog lines never appears ingame, it'll just confirms what i'm saying. It has to be during the archipelago event, and i highly doubt that we going to hear her during 2.8 event, i doubt it so much 🙂

Sumeru is everything I imagined and more, I remember being so bumped down when I read that it was going to be a desert only. So seeing the rainforest part makes me so happy!!! I’m a sucker for everything nature, and even more if there is gigantic plants or tree houses

Okay so here's my theory about Kazuha. Kazuha gets possessed by one of his ancestors who makes him repair the sword "when I touched the hilt, it was as if I was transformed to another dimension"… I feel like this whole possessing thing has happened quite a few times in Inazuma before thats why maybe this is similar. also During the livestream, Mark whitten (Kazu's VA) teases one of Kazuha's voice lines saying (successor of isshin art, Kaedehara kazuha, honored to cross blades with you.) while showing a screenshot of kazuha holding the sword and is about to cross blades with that dude in the screenshot? and traveler also appears to be there with them, perhaps this indicates that after the whole sword repairing incident, this shakes something in Kazuha and he finally decides to continue his clan's legacy and brings the isshin art back to life since apparently it died with his clan or smth… idk its 4am and im probably thinkin too hard or too sleepy or maybe not thinking too hard.

I think Kazuha's Story quest was delayed because a lot of other things had to happen first. Two decrees ending and Kazuha healing from trauma.
