The teapot isn't really broken. They just shut it down for the same issue with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons debacle a few years back. Genshin's teapot is literally the same as that game which also gave the CCP the same problem.
This delay, if ever, is quite favorable for me since i haven't fully explored the new maps (thanks elden ring!), but i hope people in shanghai are ok and recover soon…

No surprise about the delay. The situation in Shanghai is very dire and the government prolonged lockdown order just make things worse. I saw a footage in Shanghai how bad the situation was. There are also protests there.
At least HoYoVerse said there will be compensations.
Just hope that HoYoVerse's staffs gonna make it through.
Does this mean that the current 2.6 banners (Ayaka and Mistsplitter) will be extended as well? Or Hoyoverse will add an additional banner until 2.7 drops?

The only unfortunate thing for me about the teapot maintenance is that the characters I placed are already at 10 friendship and I can't switch them right now. Other than that, I have the patience to wait until they fix it, no sweat. I have enough on my plate as it is right now, haven't fully finished the main questline.
