Update: all of 2.7 delayed. Ill make a follow up video on this in the morning and the ripple effect it will have. And I was def wrong did not expect them to delay a basically completed patch.
As per the pinned comment, 2.7 is actually delayed. I didn’t think it would happen, but I don’t care too much one way or the other. What matters most is that people are staying as safe and healthy as possible. Honestly I think I will take a little genshin break, just logging in real quick to claim welkin each day. Feel like it’s that time.

Honestly, I don’t expect much for 2.7 besides Yelan's story quest maybe Kuki’s too I don’t know. All I know is this the game is going to have dead patches until Sumeru drops in 3.0 whenever that is.

i understand the delay, but why is there even a 2.7? 1.6 was the last patch before Inazuma and here we are waiting for 2.7 ^^´ but whatever I don´t care for genshin anymore anyway since it has no content to do because they don´t added more endgame or repeatable content since it´s release. Which everyone the best and to stay safe
We all know 2.7 is just a filler patch before Summeru & Dendro element release. I won't be to worried about the delay were the new content is just Yelan (or no TRUE content If you not pulling)
I don't mind the delay, their health is more important. This kind of things are out of their control and I hope the community will be respectful to hoyo and understand the situation. Not just "wHeRe PrIMos" smh. Hope it gets better there.
It's official now that V2.7 is delayed.
Honestly Idm it, they need to take care of their people and that's 200% more umportant than releasing a version livestream and update.

Yeah i like the new speed of updates, but the lifes of the developers are more important. the teapot still bugged is a worring sign for example. Lets hope they take their time to make a great update for the next nation

I just don't like that people are saying we don't need somoensation for the delay because of the situation Hoyo is in. Like I get the situation, but we need compensation for tons of things, so saying that we don't need a compensation doesn't sit right with me.
I can always wait, they can delay the updates as long as they need to. Staying safe is what is more important.

Well unless they combine 2.7-2.8 in the next update we either gonna be late or just we will get a short update
I feel like it’s very unprofessional for Hoyoverse to get their actors doing work at the last minute. That’s like saying your boss calls you in on your day off of work for mandatory meeting and you have to be there In like 20 minutes.
