What would be really sick is a full dungeon builder with enemies, buffs/debuffs (optionally tied to breakable structures), defense targets (Whether ours or theirs), traps, different routes…
This could actually be a content generator with longevity, especially if they keep updating it gradually with new objective types etc., with co-op the potential is crazy.
I'm hyped for Ayato. Yes, hyped to get my Xiao his set. Hyped for the new area too. But before that, I'm getting my Kokomi. I got a Qiqi C1 on like roll 3 of Yae's banner, now I'm at 53 pity, and gonna use my guarantee to get Kokomi-chan (already got Raiden).
On the topic of "dead weeks"… I'm going to be the heretic and say that a "dead period" once in a while is good. I've actually used these "dead weeks" to farm sets for my fav chars. Like I knew I wasn't getting Yae, no need to farm for her. Was able to kit out my Zhongli, Diluc, Kazuha and Sucrose. Obviously also got pieces for Jean, Sayu, and 2-piece venerer for Xiao (it'll be handed down, once Xiao no longer needs it). Now I need to go back to hunting husk pieces for my Itto, Albedo, Noelle, and Gorou… will get clam pieces for Qiqi and Kokomi while I'm at it… but point is, yea, sometimes you need a dead period to get on top of things. Especially when you have amassed 39 chars in 8 months of playing the game.
I'm actually planning to use 4P glads on ayato cause i don't have anyone to benefit from Xiao's artifacts set and I ain't farming no cryo domain
The game is highly based on exploration and farming, so if you don't have anything new to explore or farm it's a dead patch
Refarming for 10% more dmg, fu*k that, ill stick with 2VV glad
This sounds awesome! i havent played with my xiao for a while. I just got a jade spear from the standar banner (my second 5 star weapon, i only had the skyward sword for a while) so i might as well level up that weapon in the mean time to prepare for xiao's new set

Well Xiao is for me as C0 not soooo good anymore……he have his weapon and fine stats but his damage is hmmm falling down…..the enemies are getting stronger and Xiao isnt until hope 2,6.
He need to be F2P stronger like around 20 % or more damage overall in my opinion to be top tier again
I think 2.5 was very mid, it was just for yae wanters and chasm waiting room
Mario maker event maybe fun and all but I don't care for most of them because no rewards=no reason to do them

One question, Valk. How do you not burn out from coming up with video ideas, and scheduling uploads every single day sometimes even twice? I know you don’t edit as much besides voice over commentary, and gameplay. But idea-wise, the content drought must be tough for video ideas.
It’s just my opinion but I don’t care at all for this super Mario event.
I'm wondering what will be the new total time for the largest xiao plunge (I'm thinking something like from the peak of a hill nearby to the bottom of the chasm)

my f2p has ganyu, kokomi(recent) diona and i need ayaka to complete my perma freeze team. probably the most exciting part in 2.6

I'm excited for the high probability of Ayaka and Venti reruns.
Those are the only two "old" characters I still have a reason to wish for on at least one account, and there is absolutely nothing in the game that can justify picking up a new unit once you already have several built of that element and/or role which I'll reach with those two filling the last holes. If it was only wishing that would be a different story, but levelling up said character…artifacts, talent books, arrowheads…no thanks. I'll pretty much ignore all but the cutest waifus beyond 2.6 and even those better come with some unique and fun gameplay…
A new map and new artifacts isn’t enough to be excited for
I will have 13 fragiles saved, with a transient resin (or 2 perhaps) and 5 condensed all ready for the new domain. The moment the update drops, I will wish for Ayato, build him, go unlock the new domain (could be quest locked) and then co-op or solo the domain till I run out of resin. Then I will finally properly explore some Chasm for myself.
When is 2.6?
I don't recommend farming the new set for xiao if u are f2p and especially if u already have good artifact on him !
The DMG increase is very low !
I have a level 80 Xiao with no farmed artifacts and unraised talents. Im happy af i can just farm his set i just have to hold back from raising him for now

Also this patch showed me why i dont need to spend money… there is nothing to do… spending money wont improve my experience… so better to save for the real games coming up later this year… forspoken looks amazing… missed sth as good as infamous!
Iirc Xiao's set will be sharing a domain with Ayato's BiS? I wouldn't mind farming for him if that's the case. 2.6 looks alot more promising and maybe that'll finally get me back into playing Genshin more!
At last I can get a new character,the last new character I got was Hu Tao's rerun… I have right now 190 wishes,my fingers itch to summon,ayato and his leaks keep me strong,my gambling mind keeps saying you have endured that much I can save for a little bit more,I want kokopium,but I want Ayato more,kokopium keeps staring at me from her banner and something whispers behind me "roll, roll, roll".But at last the boba tea drinking the yashiro rascal guy is waiting.

With version 2 almost closing I think they'll ramp things up a bit. Also I'm very excited for Ayato and the Xiao set. I'm finally gonna do something in game.
Already know what will happen, people will 100% the chasm in 1 day aka the sweatlords and bitch and moan like the always do, and the streamers will make their videos about it and blah blah blah the same cycle every patch oh and let's not forget bitching about the new character cuz the can't do a 1 mill burst so their trash, it's the same thing every patch now with this community

The real hype for Genshin Impact for me is new combat mechanics and story progression. I think Genshin needs to add Team Ultimate. Imagine having different team animation and combo attacks depending on what character you choose. You could have a physical team combo attack and an elemental one. I think this is a missing piece to combat mechanics. Also once Dendro shows up, that should change the way we approach fights in the future. What is meta today definitely looks like it will change soon. Hopefully.

Well. At this point getting hyped for genshin is harder for me than doing a no dammage margit run. Sure the chasm will be a fresh and interesting, but most of us will clear it in a week. Maybe some won't rush it and will be done with it a few days later. A new xiao set sounds good, but few people have the mental capacity to farm for another set if they have him built. Nowday mostly QoL improvements impress me the most. Which we rarely get.
Hella hyped. Ayato and the chasm. But im still on that elder dong.
Im not hyped for ayato. I saw his kit and it doesnt look interesting to me. What im hyped is for Yelan. Also… the chasm seems to not add anything new to genshin. We rly need dendro soon asap

I got two copies of Xiao on pity. Super happy for the extra skill use. I’m glad he’s getting an upgrade, and that I have not built him yet.

As it pertains to the new set the increase in damage is by about roughly 10k since with that much atk% it's starting to have diminishing returns
So what I think would be best is to have is an ER sands so it'd be the same or more damage as the split artifact build but more consistent since xiao will now have that extra 51.8% ER to get his ult faster
