But at 1:07, it is 2000 years ago, we again see the same Qilin- we know Ganyu fought in the archon war 2000 years ago.
There is also an assumption that Ganyu can do that transformation- but she is only half-Qilin, so maybe she cannot.
But if we look at Ganyu's namecard, it has the Qilin in it. So… maybe she can take that form?

The "unknown person" in the back is yunjin she was supposed to be a playable character but mihoyo still didnt say when she is gonna be. well was supposed to come out a long time ago but ig everyone forgot abt her there isnt much i can say abt her cuz i think this is all i know. well who knows she might be a playable character in the future

I've always stand by this since meeting her. Ping (now refer as madam) is best waifu. she's probably got a power retain state to revert to her young form. I prefer old state because of the benefits but madam ping is the most op outta all of them from that osial quest

Since Madam Pings an adeptus, I wonder why she doesn’t stay in her young form. She could just pop up in front of us with her younger form like “yeah I’m hip with the youngsters now”

As much as I want Madame Ping to be playable, that woman can't possibly be her. Xiao there was as old as he is now, while this woman is at her prime. As shapeshifters go, we now know only Zhongli can do this. We speculate the adepti can because some take form as an animal, some others as human. Even if Madame Ping could in fact, shapeshift to different age, this still doesn't align with her personality. She's basically retired. She might be Xiangling's Master, but you don't have to still be a warrior to teach how to use a polearm. The bell doesn't necessarily mean it's her, and I'll tell you why.
There are 2 possibilities I can think of: First, she's indeed Madame Ping and we would see her shapeshift into this form, but she's not gonna be playable, since Madame Ping is not that young-spirited anymore to be adventuring with us. Second, it's someone closely related to Madame Ping, inheriting her polearm skills, adepti powers, and the bell. Could be her daughter, young adeptus like Ganyu and Yanfei. Could be another student like Xiangling. But my money is on the daughter.

Anniv problems aside, this was a beautiful event. Wish people showed more appreciation for this… Guess people would rather be toxic huh….
isn't there official mihoyo art of yaoyao though? so by proxy/assumption that other character must be yunjin?
