10 Things You Missed in Version 3.6 Trailer (Genshin Impact Theory & Speculations)

We’re at the point of getting the second weekly boss for Sumeru region. Let’s take a look at what we know about Apep the dendro dragon, the dragon kings and Apep’s relation to dendro archon. The trailer for 3.6 also has a mysterious voice that talks about the apocalypse and its effects. We can think of a couple of things for what exactly this “apocalypse” refers to and what changes it brought to Teyvat and Genshin’s story. I hope you find this analysis intriguining.

  1. Time out, maybe I'm not up to date with the newer lore/theories but wasn't it celestia dropping the nails? When or where was it mentioned that it was the primordial one? Cause this makes a whole lot of other theories completely wrong then- like I need to know. I need to devour lore 😂

  2. Teyvat is a simulated world.
Ok now… Sumeru's main quest( and the ones related) are hinting that all the time… There will probably be some connection with Honkai in the future.

  3. The abyss was created by celestia itself during the APOCALYPSE for the people of khanriah be thrown in. I love your vids but this is so crap, bc it seems like you’re not up to date with the lore and the dainsleif lore and have no idea of the story of teyvat. This makes the theory and video get worse by the second.

  4. I have a few word what if paimon is the primordial one because it knows everything about tevyat but not it’s memories and the dragon could be talking about nahida and paimon but apep senses godly presence in paimon but cant place her finger on who it is

  5. Not sure if it's intentional or not, but Teyvat feels like an anime, family-friendly version of Dark Souls: first inhabitants were primordial dragons, then the land was invaded by humanoid species.

  6. You may be onto something with the cataclysm being a "repeat" of what happened in the apocalypse, they could well have invoked some mass transformation magic. The wandering hilichurls (the new ones) could be creatures transformed a very long time ago or descended from ones that were transformed. Also could be why the seelies are no longer their original form. The question for the apocalypse is when did it happen, was it the reason why the primordial one first came to teyvat (maybe to remove the dragon sovereigns that had been transformed or corrupted?) or did it happen during the second who came invasion? I guess we might get some more info soon. This dendro flower dragon is definitely contaminated like the dendro hypostasis. Which persists even though the withering has been cleansed with rukkadevata's removal from irmunsul.

  7. Ah yes… finding an ancient dragon in the world that is older than you can even imagine and we just decide to murder it for fun.

    Gotta get those primos somehow

  8. The phrase “we were victims of the apocalypse. We also become the apocalypse.” Sounds like the gods punishing khanri’ah turning the people into monsters that then brought chaos. Essentially the victims became the weapons. Which could make more sense if the voice ends up being the new inquisitor boss.

  9. Apocalypse is the event where they are trying to obtain the power of the abyss.

Cataclysm on the other hand was the event where Abyss started rampaging in Khaenria then to all of teyvat

  10. Apep one of seven dragon who live on teyvat many centuries ago before heavenly principle invasion and corrupt them
That's reasonable Apep using forbidden knowledge against heaven

  11. "hilichurls have existed before khaenri'ah was destroyed" my, I must be missing out on something. could someone please tell me, which quest or story line this information is taken from?
other than that, thanks for this great analysis and speculation of the trailer
    edit: just a typo correction

  12. [SPOILER ALERT!!!]
    Comeback here after experienced 3.6:
    1. The Ancient Race: Nope, they're not Seelie
    2. Dragon Kings: why yes… there's more lore on that in the story
    3. The Voice is from Apep herself, yes.
    4. It's Nahida and King Deshret she's referring to
    5. She's tainted by forbidden knowledge
    6. That is the Guardian of Apep's Oasis literally to every single word, yes. And the Oasis within Apep's body is the homeland of that "Ancient Race"
    7. Again, not Seelie and also Apocalypse is the Forbidden Knowledge that King Deshret brought to Teyvat
    8. (Huge spoiler!!!) Nope, not referring to Pari or Hilichurls but the Ancient Race. Paimon say that after witnessing the form of those from the Ancient Race that did not escape in time (The mobs you see at the 2nd Phase of Guardian of Apep's Oasis as seen in Special Program). Those that managed to escape borrowed the appearances of Fungi to survive and co-exist with the Fungus
    9. Nope, just the inside another giant ruin machine
    10. Yes
    11. I hope it's true
