SO I decided on a new series where I react to the old events that are no longer playable in Genshin as this gives me a further look into characters I have not encountered and bits of story I don’t want to miss! 🙂

Seeing mona and fischl's relationship development from this quest to now is so funny. I love them together
That Leonard speech always gets me emotional. It makes me really love the gliders.
Baby Genshin impact player haha
I don't know why but I felt that to be really cute and wholesome lol
I thought the same about fischl but then this years event actually went in to her background and I quite like her now
I feel like this quest also is a testament to venti’s power as an archon despite us never seeing it in game. He took a while to shake off signora’s ice, but now we know that he could’ve killed her right then and there as well as cut mondstadt in half while he’s at it
Heey, what a great idea to watch die old events! Unfortunately much interesting lore and stories are in these time limited events and I always feel sad for new players, that they missed them T__T
This one was actually super interesting to me too, because the first event I played was the 1.3 Lantern Rite, so I didn't know this one either (Only heard/read about a few things).
In fact I just got to know Fischl myself in 2.8 Summer Fantasia for the first time! I have to say, that I grew to like her in that event and hope you'll do to once you reach it. 🙂
Pardon the paragraph. I don’t know how many events you’ve done, so I’ll just list out all the previous ones I can think of.
Since you’ve now watched ‘Unreconciled Stars’ (1.1), I imagine you’ll want to continue. ‘The Chalk Prince and the Dragon’ (1.2) is really good and lore heavy. ‘Lantern Rite Festival’ (1.3) is good, but I can’t recall how lore related it is. ’The Windblume Festival’ (1.4) is similar, good story, not super lore heavy, if I recall. ‘Midsummer Island Adventure’ (1.6) is really good and has some nice character interactions and there was a surprise cameo character. ‘The Moonchase Festival’ (2.1) is surprisingly lore heavy, despite the overall cheery tone. ‘Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog’ (2.2) has some lore related stuff, but it was more important at the time (a question was posed that has now been answered, as of 3.1). ‘Shadows Amidst Snowstorms’ (2.3) is 1.2, but better and probably some of HoYoverse’s finest event writing, especially the ending. ‘Fleeting Colors in Flight’ (2.4) is a really cute event. ‘Three Realms Gateway Offering’ (2.5) is really cool and lore heavy, but don’t watch until after completing the Enkanomiya quest. ‘Of Drink A-Dreaming’ (2.5) has some cute and surprising character interactions (small, very chill event). ‘The Irodori Festival’ (2.6) is really fun and very lore heavy related to two characters in particular. ‘Summer Fantasia’ (2.8) is really cute and lore heavy regarding a few characters and follows up briefly on some things mentioned in 1.1, 2.2, and 2.6.
Those are all the important story events I can think of. I’m sure I probably missed a few.
>says the stars are a lie
>does not elaborate
>calls us suckers
>leaves
And thus Scaramouche became the darling of the lore community–seriously, it seems like almost every major theorist has him as one of their favs, if not their top fav. The false sky is considered basically confirmed as of 2.0, by the way–there's an enemy item drop that mentions the firmament in its description, referring to (essentially, very oversimplified) a dome that covers the world.
Also, if you think Scaramouche being a Harbinger is the thing to be shocked about, wait until you finish the Inazuma archon quest 😉 Make sure you talk to Miko at the end of it. Btw, are you ever planning to post your vods to YT? I seem to always miss your streams…
6:25 actually no, Fischl is a character from a novel that Amy (who we know as Fischl) read and yes she(Amy) is a chuunibyou(or teen syndrome if you may). One day her parents tried to get her back to reality (I don’t know how to word it better), she broken down and gained electro vision + Oz and Bc of that she is now Fischl…. Yeah
Excited you’re getting now to events!!!!! I think you’ve been told already but for 1.2 you might wanna check Albedos story quest first. Also 1.5 doesn’t have a big voiced event iirc, neither does 3.0
Been playing since 1.1, and it's so strange seeing Mondstadt without the "real" Dragonspine model in the background again! It didn't get released until 1.2, along with Albedo. I recommend also checking out the event for that, since Albedo's character story goes over the first Act of the event, but sadly not all of it. (That's also where we got introduced to Rosaria originally!)
"so we have confirmed another world where Fischl came from?" oh my sweet summer child…
love that you meet scaramouche already, yey!!!
@georgieegames it's so nice that you decided to watch this one. I'm sorry if I missed this question earlier, but you said you knew who Scaramouche is, but at the same time you seemed surprised that he's a Fatui. I know that you've been dodging the spoilers so far. So I wonder, what exactly did you know about him up til this point? If you didn't know he's with Fatui, then I guess you couldn't avoid all the spoilers after all
Fischl's not really from another world and no princess, Fischl is basically just a chuni although her 'Immernactreich' will indeed appear, it's during the 2.8 event with Kazuha, Mona and Xinyan. Technically, she's just roleplaying
Fun Fact: If you hadn't done Mona's story quest before the 1.1 event (I had not), you are introduced to her for the first time in the event. Then, when I did her story quest after, she recognized me. Pretty cool how the devs accounted for that.
yayyy
I'm glad you went back and checked out this story, I missed it too and I couldn't understand why everyone was so excited for Inazuma. Many of the early players knew Scaramouche was from Inazuma from this event and were excited to see him again. Plus Fischl and Mona showed up and they really didn't get another event (expecially Fischl) until very recently.
Whoo, event reactions! 😀
happy to see you reacting on all limited events you missed, there are so many gems in it ^-^
Fischl is a very interesting character, she does appear again in the recent Summer Island event with Mona, Kazuha, and Xinyan. Fischl was probably the highlight of the summer event in my opinion. There is a little more information about her scattered around in the character profile menus you get with friendship level etc. Besides Oz really her only friend is Bennett who is also an outcast with the Adventures Guild. And now Mona and Traveler are friends.
I find Mona and Fischl really balance each other well. Mona is herself very proud and self assured and likes to talk big, but Fischl knocks her down a peg because she's even more over-the-top and it just makes Mona look silly when she does it too. Then in reverse Mona's can call out Fischl's over-dramatics since she can discern the truth with Astrology if Fischl gets too out of hand. And while Mona is proud of her Astrology, Fischl is right anyways because she has good intuition and investigation skills despite everything else.
I think you should be able to Mona's quest soon, I think it comes in order soon after Klee's and Venti's and you did them.
Leonard's story cutscene is still one of my favourites.
5:36
yeah, Fischl punishes you with her longggg dialogues
Trouble is in 1.1 it got good but took 2 years to see him again so all hopes went down every patch
The Jester is the 1st of the Fatui Harbingers.
If you want to learn more about the Fatui Harbingers watch the A Winter's Night Lazzo.
Wish they made a Story Quest of this event.
Fischl is so much more amusing when you realize she's a theater kid larping.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, everyone at the adventurer's guild has a little dictionary they're given to understand what Fischl is even saying.
