  1. Nah, my personal opinion, Capitano might have been the Third descender, for him to be called "Strongest human even against an archon" It somehow makes sense, actually. And Tsaritsa is actually planning to revive him. Since we know that Gnoses were made out of the Third Descender's corpse, I always thought the Tsaritsa was trying to resurrect him. Every Archon tells us that their Gnosis is basically useless, or at least that it is not relevant enough for them to make an actual effort to keep them, so there has to be a deeper interest in gathering them. (The fact that the Hydro Gnosis still exists, and was retrieved by Father, while the Divine Throne of Hydro no longer does and its power has been returned to Neuvillette kind of demonstrates that they have an intrinsic value, in my opinion). The Dororo situation would give us the reason why Capitano, strong-as-a-god, teamed up with the Tsaritsa and Pierro: he wants to get his "gnosis" back and take revenge on the Higher Ups for violating his corpse. It makes even more sense with the kingdom of the Night or whatever its was from the trailer, which is linked with reincarnation.

  2. Regarding that the traveler cannot gain the powers of pyro because of the ancient name not present on mauvika or her archon status have problems, it may connect on the pyro gemstone in which a name is blurred/hidden. It may have a connection to that.

  3. 4:44 I think it's because she wanted to give it to traveler, you know since we don't get pyro element after coming to natlan for some reason. The only way we can get is by using the gnosis directly

  4. Hope you notice my comment @CatWithBlueHat.

Related to the last part of the video. Have you noticed that Mavuika isnt named after a demonology lores? That could mean Pyro Archon is already dead and has to be revived. Mavuika is like a powerful Envoy to the deity.

Unless Capitano was the Archon afterall. To protect the nation, he has to be with someone (The Tsaritsa) for futhr alliance in battling the Abyss and Heavenly principles.

In any case, being the most powerful in Fatui, a dragon, and being Captain is expected to an Extraordinary mortal. Isn't it?

Besides, its more than just a Gnosis. His tone is basically taking something that is originally from him. "Ode to resurrection" can be factored that he already resurrected, its just that in a mortal body like Neuvillette. A dragon-reborn that has the gnosis as its difference.

  5. Here is a stupid theory i made:
What if Bennet was "cursed" because he inherited an "ancient name" that was destroyed during the abyss.
I think naming your child with a dead ancient name will result in a curse.
This could probably only apply to natlan people(benett might be from natlan) because if it applies to everyone then we should atleast encounter some people with a curse(like bad luck from bennet)

  6. Nahida will definitely be showing up in this quest (I hope so) cause like the names disappearing and the talk about someone already dead and/or does not exist at all, might have to look into that irminsul tree again

  7. Capitano went from a large intimidating presence to a drama kid that screams in his room to try and go Super Saiyan after taking off his platform shoes and fake muscle suit… I have no interest in him at all anymore… Wuxia characters have no intimidation factor whatsoever…

  8. Oh, but we already had the highlights of importance of the names before :0
    1) both travellers use nicknames given by us and refer to each other only in each others' presence: Aether and Lumine call themselves their actual names only when other people (Abyss not included) are not here
    2) Lilupar and genie race at general can give their masters their true name to control and command them

So, yeah, this theme always was there and I'm happy to see plot revolving around it too

  9. intersting how the nails are related to elements.
Mondstadt Nail's was responsible for the sheer cold on SkyFrost Nail and after its activation the cold stops. The Nail has cold windy effects around.
In Liyue, the chasm was violently flooded which made creatures fossilized on walls and a canyon (geographical formation caused by water). After its activation the flood/strange phenomena stops and the nail has glowing fluids around.
Sumeru's nail cant be seem due its intense wind storm but its confirmed the nail destroyed the irminsul on the area. From its powers, we can assume the nail is using the power of Anemo to make sandstorms.
Finally, in Inazuma we have another missing nail without many clues. Its weird to have towers and roof structures UNDERGROUND, Inazuma being inspired in Japan reinforces the idea of a massive tectonic phenomenon that consumed the upper civilization. I assume this nail used the power of Geo.
I wonder if the next nail will hint some element since it can be saw unlike Sumeru's and Inazuma's. I know Fontaine is not fully released, i wonder if celestia droped one in there too

  10. i cant wait for the primal dragons to group up!!! imagine the reatsu they are going to release when the 7 of them are together and with king nibelung for some reason is reincarnated too…but i always think that hoyoverse seems negligate them so much…even neuvi and apep seems to be just 'another powerful' creature, not godlike higher beings..

  11. in Ashikai's recent theory, states that the names aren't important, it's the role. which i think makes a lot of sense. so the reasoning behind the traveler can't resonate with pyro element, has to do with the role of the pyro archon. maybe it got corrupted, or probably got deleted by the abyss. who knows.

  12. I know it wont happen, but after Zenless Zone Zero getting lots of love for their furry characters, I'm hoping theres a small chance that Capitano ends up being a full dragon

  13. I knew Capitano would be Cryo.. each region's archon and their trusted helper have the same element (Ei-Miko, Furina-Neuvellette, Zhongli-Ningguang, Venti-Jean) Tsarista's most trusted helper must be the #1 of fatui

  14. That cryo power comes from the abyss like that abyss herald from caribert's story

Also what capitano says about the gnosis could be spliced together with the latter part of what he says

  15. Xblanque had a brother in the real-world story, I think Capitano might be his brother… A cryo dragon, but not THE Cryo Dragon… He's in it for the gnosis for his brother, the real Pyro Sovereign Xblanque
