Seeing bartering brought back in the Irodori Festival made me wonder if there are any other Genshin Impact mechanics that I’ve forgotten about. So I’ve compiled a list of 10 and discuss which ones do and don’t deserve more attention from the players and Hoyoverse.

gonna shoot for weekly uploads this month :^)
first lolol
second 😀
Welcome back Mr. RedFlaim! Thanks for the fun and amazing content as always, and don’t forget to treat yourself to something nice like Dino nuggies or an ARAM battle boost!
God, I wish they made more of those unique dungeons. Especially if they added a permanent feature to let players build them.
I actually think avout these every day, RedFlaim I am saddened you haven't tailor-made this video for me specifically and as such I will need to dislike and unsubscribe

Oh I'm early
Please don't remind Hoyoverse about fishing. Let it die in peace
YOU'RE BAAAACK!!
the first dvalin boss fight was much more fun than the weekly domain we currently have
I actually have the google set and didnt know about it lol. A suprise though something I never used in the end
fellow- Hi,best recording,talk you laetr-
Nice to see you back🤗🥰
Those are not forgotten Mechanics, they just obscure things never used variety helpful
Parametric transformer? I use it, but it’s notorious for being forgotten. Hopefully, I’m not alone in using it…
I love this content! Please create more similar vids to this. o)H
I’ve never even used traps for the Razor’s quest…
I had some meat on me so the quest got completed
So I never knew how to use them and I still has two of them x)
I ironically like bargaining in games and I needlesly strategise
Man, i would love to see a good use of rides like Waver Rider, walk in that world on foot is just too slow, i would like to have a horse or something like this 🙂
Getting 2000 fish was so satisfying
I've been watching this for months, and they still never fail to make me smile ))w
I kept my bear traps from razors quest andnive never used them
(-=
One-time mechanics could be incorporated into daily commissions which are pretty mundane for most players.
But in case you get annoying mechanics, you should be able to skip some commissions without missing primogems.
I 100% agree with fishing, just got catch r5 and I never wanna fish again lmaooo
I personally like stardew valley's fishing more but thats just me, it's WAY more relaxing without paimon in your face as well
I'm so happy you included the 100 specialties in a region. I loved those quests and was excited for when all the regions would be released cause you'd be able to complete the battle pass even quicker then. I was honestly really salty that they removed those missions but I'm just glad someone else felt my sentiment. Amazing video as always too ☺️
Honestly I liked that the events costed resin bc it paced me from spending all day on genshin
Here’s one: Initiate artifact set
all of the books you can collect in the overworld are so forgettable. literally someone had to write these things and nobody reads them haha
Features you forgot:
1. The Dvalin bullet hell gameplay the first time you fight him. Wish they did something similar with the Ruin Serpent where it digs and you have to slide and avoid rocks and those exploding thingies in the chasm. The way you damage them is with a ningguang like rock projectile.
2. Stamina increase through elemental-culi. It stopped at Liyue and for some reason the meter could have been a circle like in botw but Mihoyo stopped at 250 stamina. If they wanted to, they could increase it indefinitely and just make spiral abyss have 250 stamina at max.
3. Levelling up by defeating mobs. The exp taken from killing enemies is so little that it doesn't really matter and Hoyoverse just forgot about it. It would have been cool if it increased according to your world level – therefore people could just leave their characters unlevelled and only using Hero's Wit and Adventurer's Exp on characters they actually wanna max out immediately.
4. The existence of 3* weapons, I believe there hasn't been an increase in 3* weapon catalogue since release and from a business perspective it's understandable but it could be really good too. 3* weapons with specific passives are really good in-game and it could literally just be a re-colored skin of an already existing design. Nobody cares about 3* weapon designs, they only care about its passives. It's a cheap tactic but I don't care, I just want more ugly reskinned 3* weapons I can easily get rather than get no new 3* weapons at all.
5. A whole lot of gadgets like Parametric Transformer, Fireworks, the Balloon, the leaf, and many more. Afaik, only the musical instruments are mostly used.
You forgot about spikes which were used once in Kaeya's story quest (I think?), some other random domain I completely forgot about and am not even completely sure if it actually exists, and never again
Here my opinion on some of the stuff you said in the video.
I honestly didn’t like the shooting part of Dvalin’s first encounter. I felt like it didn’t matter how much I moved, I still got hit. Not to mention I don’t like fps shooting in mobile games.
I’d be cool if we could craft traps from the three blacksmiths in each city with different characters helping in the process. Like Razor making good boar traps or Klee making crab cages you leave in the ocean to pick up with the wave rider. All you’d need to make it work is leave a trap somewhere with animals and come back in a few days to get extra meat.
I think the reason we don’t have cutscenes in the travel log is because that’ll cause the storage space the game needs to balloon. I have a 64 gig iPhone and Genshin takes up 30 gigs of space. Even my other gacha games like FGO and Skullgirls, and my 1400 photos over the years don’t take up as much space.
Me: What Mechanics?
After Google they did a collab with Razor and gave one namecard.
wow i remember that i actually have the google chair… jeez has it really been this long…
Google play furniture? didn't know that existed
The ascension domain dungeon domain is another one once you reach AR50 and ascend your world level you never see it again which is such a shame because it has an interesting design with a whole dungeon (albeit railroaded), some platforming & traversal challenges, a mini-boss, and a boss + rewards. I honestly think it's been over a year since I last saw that dungeon I kinda miss it 😞
If you're like me you might have forgotten your parametric transformer too lol
I love your videos, I play genshin a LOT and the way you deliver information is far more different than other genshin related channels and I enjoy watching your content!
I only used potions and food in the early days when I fought Oceanid and Adrius.
The fan that increases your gliding speed. I find it really odd that you can't use it while gliding (it would have the niche use of having some extra boost when you realize you won't make it to that platform you're trying to reach), and personally I only used it once to avoid doing a puzzle for an electroculus. Same thing with the anemogram bottle. They are objects that seem like they would have a really specific moment to be used, but that moment never really arrives, and it makes them quite useless.
The Adventurer's Guild Handbook Chapter Rewards which wasn't updated since, even Inazuma-related. Although, if they were to add Inazuma-related chapter rewards, the most likely case will be is that they would add it gradually over time, similar to most mechanics.
The same goes to the Teapot Adeptal Mirror which basically has the same mechanics and provides furniture instead.
I only made potions once and was just to get that completionist check mark on the Archive… outside of that they are the most useless thing to make.
