  1. Finished this story quest today actually, this is only the start and act 2 will be even wilder.

I really like how Wanyan is depicted. Despite the truth being presented to her, she refuses to believe it (Like people do in real life) if the reality you've known all your life was fake, what kind of "reality" were you living? A lie, basically and Wanyan can't come to terms with it.

  2. What happened to Havria was a tragedy.

Venti's and Zhongli's story quests were your first steps towards truly sad events that happened, and their quests honestly made me tear up. Expect more sad stories as you go forward.

  3. Man, I really like Zhongli!! His whole hidden identity is kinda funny! Also he stay calm despite people assuming things and talking shit about Rex Lapis (aka him). You gotta respect that!

And I hate that Fatui guy! If he wants money, he should ask Childe like everyone!! XD

    Spoilers for the end :

Ok the end was kinda sad! Not only the goddess of Salt got murdered by her own followers, but Rex Lapis got blamed for it?? That's messed up…

  4. A couple months ago I saw a Reddit post discussing this quest and the very DARK implications on an earlier quest. If Havria, described as a "weak" god had enough power to cause that much damage as a result of her death, what would have happened if Rex Lapis had actually died instead of faking it? With his power, it probably would have taken out at least half of Liyue.

Also, welcome to a meme in the fandom that became popular during a certain televised poll about people's favorite games back in December. "Salt for the salt god" or "Fo Havria!" as war cries for the fandom

  5. Coming from a Zhongli haver. Having Him makes the game so ezy💀. I mean You either Up his burst Which then will do Damage like *sheeeeeeeeeeeesh*. Or Up his health to the point You Literally can tank anything

  6. I keep forgetting that "Mora is a catalyst". We do not "pay" enchantments, we use mora as a catalyst to enhance them. Although we use it in trade and commerce, it is, down to its core, a catalyst.

Yes, Zhongli was the only character who got a direct buff after release. When I say direct buff, I mean, Hoyo made changes to his kit. And not just adjustments to his numbers, but literal change in his kit. Before, when you hold his E, you cannot summon a pillar. His burst also got a buff that scales with his HP through his passive. His shield also got an additional function where it shreds all resistances by a certain percent. Since then, no one can touch him when it comes close to touching him in tank/shielder role.

  8. Zhongli’s “I am not debating right or wrong, I’m simply stating a fact.” Is the single handedly best quote from this quest.

Also I can’t wait to watch you play the Tsurumi island world quest! It has one of the saddest stories in Genshin. And if you want to explore a lore heavy location, unlocking Enkanomiya would be perfect.

  9. Casually waiting for an act 3 and another one of Venti's story quest! Both of their story quests were great but left so many unanswered questions as opposed to Ei's, which fulfilled most of my curiosities.

  10. Both of Zhongli’s quests are so melancholy, a reminder of friends and acquaintances that have passed on as he continues to live with only their memories :’D Immortality truly does have some poor connotations.
Nevertheless, Zhongli always tells us that the past should be remembered, but not overly dwelled upon. As merely a mortal named Zhongli now too, he takes this philosophy with stride and focuses on the present as well as what lies ahead in life.

  11. Zhongli talking about us being a record keeper of Teyvat's history hits even harder once you've gone through the Sumeru archon quest. So many concepts in early game quests come back to haunt you in later quests like that story book that the Abyss mage stole that Lisa got back.

  12. I definitely prefer Zhongli's first story quest to his second, the second is great also but the worldbuilding was so amazing in this one.
The dialogue at the end was such a cool prelude for certain events too as chat hinted at lol.

  13. Remember what zhongli said at the end of the quest alright. It'll be even more relevant after sumeru's archon quest and you don't want to miss the connection
