  1. No regrets on my Yoimiya pull. I don't have the time and energy to learn Hu Tao but I still wanted a strong single-target pyro dps option that takes very little investment to get off the ground. Sure, she's limited in what she can do, but within her limits she's great.

  2. I had to skip Yoi twice but she'll finally come home. I don't think she deserves a lot of the criticism Genshin's online community gives her. I kinda wish we had a cryo Xinqiu to enable melt reactions for her.

  3. Honestly, i dont know why most people say Yoimiya is easier to play than Hu Tao while its the opposite. Youll lose a lot of Yoimiya's damage if you ruin her vape patterns. She doesnt have innate interruption resistance, self-heal, and a strong attack that can stagger enemies like the consecrated beasts. All im saying is, its not that hard to learn the Tao's jump cancels as how people say it to be, heck you can even use her normals if you really on the tight spot. And even so, f2p can get c1 Tao if they really pursue it. dbane is honestly an already strong weapon while letting you farm the easier to obtain HP sands than EM sands.

  4. I think the point of the video was showing that actually yoimiya isn't "that" bad Because many players don't even consider her and think She is diluc level, but in the Moment you compared her with hu tao… This took the killer route and this became almost a hu tao vs yoimiya in the comment section😭.

  5. I have both Yoimiya and Hu Tao. Yoimiya normally is used on floor 9 to 11 in abyss for me while I use Hu Tao on floor 12 when I need to kill some bosses. Overall Yoimiya is more fun to play for me but they both do enough damage for what I need.

  6. IWinToLose once did a head to head comparison between Yoimiya and Hu Tao, and they were quite close in single target. Like, within 10% of one another, with Hu Tao being a bit faster overall. But as other people have pointed out, the issue with Yoimiya is that she is single target only, whereas competing teams are single target focused, not single target locked. This single target lock makes Yoimiya all but unusable in several recent abyss 12 cycles. To be fair, she did an excellent job against the thunder manifestation when that thing was in the abyss.

  7. I have c3 Hu Tao, c3 Yoimiya..with c4 Homa and c5 thundering pulse..who needs AOE when you're one-shotting everything, and ending bosses in seconds without gimmicks or special set ups. Yoimiya is a much cozier pick IMO. Yoimiya's 4pc shim: 79%CR, 256% CD; Hu Tao 4pc Crimson: 76% CR, 251% CD.

  8. I have both triple crowned 👑
Hu tao, at similar investment, seems to have both a higher dmg floor and higher dmg ceiling than Yoi… yet I still find myself using my c0 yoi over my c1 hu tao tbh, yoi is just too much fun to me

  9. There's nothing better than seeing the main hu so angry crying in the comments, thinking that Hu tao is much superior and in fact she was never a big deal just and really overrated.

  10. I wish I had the focus to read the comments but to read the articles I need to! Wow people go mad about the minimum, or things already stated. When I get to the pc I'll take a look at the Drive to try better understand about the rotation time lol, but I have nothing to add, you did a great video as usual! Keep up TGS, and patience be with you hahah

  11. Yoimiya is one of those character that I wanted but in the end I actually NEEDED. In some domains you need ranged pyro and Yanfei fills the roll ok, but not well enough and she is a bit clunky. Yoimiya absolutely destroys those domains. She also puts Puppet Raiden down incredibly fast. A very useful unit, so is her best friend Yunjin. I skipped her on her first banner to save for Raiden which was the correct move. But snatched her up on her rerun and am super glad I did. She is a beast and I use her all the time still. I barely use HuTao anymore sadly.

  12. Even tho I don't have her Yoi seems like a good character to me, and here is why: good dmg, can hit flying enemies, her playstyle is simple, she doesn't need energy, f2p, she's cute so I might pull for her

Choose whom you like, honestly, both are great

  14. Whenever i get free trail Yoimiya, i always pair her with my c2 Beidou and c4 Xingqiu as of current. Sometimes c6 Yunjin for that crazy speed. Notheless, she will always be my favorite trail hopefully i get to snatch her next banner

  15. I’ve been so embarassed watching so many people run double hydro on Yoimiya. Hypercarry Yoimiya with Bennet or Yunjin or Kazuha (in some combination) has always been better 💀💀💀 even abyss streamers running double hydro Yoimiya and getting garbage dmg.

  16. Yoimiya is amazing even at C0 while Hu Tao is basically useless at C0, it all comes down to your wallet, spend on Hu Tao or use Yoimiya for free.
