  1. I love hydro and i have all hydro units.
I think she looks cool and probably plays well.
But at the same time i feel uncertain of getting her, cause i really dont need a 2nd Xingqiu for any team.
Maybe in the far future i can get her on the side or just get lucky… i do think she looks really cool tho.

  2. I honestly don’t think Yelan will replace Xingqiu tbh. Xingqiu works very well with Hu Tao and you would have to have c2 Yelan for her to work just as well as Xingqiu with Hu Tao. Unless you whale for Yelan, c0 Yelan doesn’t outperform c6 Xingqiu.

  3. I think people underrate Xingqiu interruption res increase and hydro resistance lowering as a support.
But Yelan could be good for other options like Yoimiya maybe?

  4. Sorry but Yelan replacing C6 Xinqui is as unlikely as a meteor striking Earth tomorrow. She’s not a broken unit like Xinqui going out of the game’s balance.

  5. One thing about Yelan that's better than Xingqui that many don't seem to notice, is that when using her, at no point you'll have to worry about getting yourself FROZEN.

  6. That second passive is basically a r5 serpent spine without the damage taken. So in damage wise I think she is a upgrade to xinqiu only beating her in hydro application

  7. PSA It's spelled Xingqiu not xingqui or xinqiu or xingcho or however many many ways people type it
just remember next time haha its xing and qiu its a bit strange seeing all the typos and avoidances of the word

  8. So I wanted to pull for Yelan originally. But I got the Kamiaato siblings accidentally back to back when I'm trying to build pity and get starglitters. And yes I'm flexing.

  9. Yeah I’m excited for her. I want a bow user you can actually use as a sniper. Problem with other bow users is it takes so long to charge up/the damage is mediocre. Yeah I also don’t have a ganyu but that 80% charge shot charge time looks so good to me being on mobile. Worse case scenario, there’s strong 3* bows I can build if the free bow from the patch doesn’t suit her well. If I get her early I might pull on her weapon depends on the other 5* and 4*s.

  10. how the hell do you go upto 50k HP while doing er, cr, cd all in good ratio? my yelan is currently with 33k HP with 80/130 crit and 181 er (fav bow) Sadge.. according to my math I do same as xinqiu damage not more not less

  11. her C6 is broken but it only lasts 5 seconds thats the downfall and because of that i dont think the C6 is worth it, it can be easily be replaced by raiden C2 on a team so u dont actually need to use her C6

  12. With 35k HP, she can deal like 2898 damage for each Exquisite Throw or 8694 for all 3 of the hits without factoring any hydro dmg bonus and crit.
Her passive also gives her a huge advantage as an upraded version of Xingqiu. Might get her, 'cause I really need 2 Xingqius for the current abyss cycle.

Hope I can save enough primos to get Yelan, aswell as Kazuha. If not, then I'll wait for her rerun.

  13. She’s a real good unit, even after nerf she’s good only 1 chara dint like her nerf but overall she’s really good on a team that wants xinqu ( side note to put out unlike xinqu yelan doesn’t scale off bennet so gotta see how it plays on rational)

  14. Her buff only reaches 50% at the last second of its duration. On average it’s only a 25% boost. Many characters can take advantage of it by pumping their burst in the last second, but it’s still good to note. An important question to ask is if it can be snapshotted. Several newer buffs like Raiden’s skill buff to burst damage goes away even after snapshot.

I for one am beyond psyched for her. She’s perfect for Razor, my favorite character. Her buff will affect both physical and electro damage which means my boy gets double the buff compared to others. As a bonus, free electro charged reactions.

I’m sure Keqing mains are just as excited.

  15. Ofc she won't her c6 is really op but let be honest not everyone you can easy her c6 if you skip so many banner but xingqiu can easy 1 shot boss and he can easy apply hydro but I might to get her c0 to have another fast hydro application.

  16. it doesn't matter whether or not she's better than xingqiu, as long as she's different than xq.

xq benefits: heals, larger vapes on his E, easy to proc sac sword, applies hydro by being close to enemies, 2/3/5 swords, can get for free

yelan benefits: buffs team dmg, hp scaling means artifacts are WAY easier, works with several artifact sets (HoD, ToM, Emblem, noblesse), weapon options include 3stars and several 4 star bows (f2p friendly), travel fast like sayu, consistent 3 hit burst, easier to guarantee constellations, access to elegy, 70 energy burst instead of 80, 15/18 second uptime at C0, and of course she's a waifu.

that's a LOT of good reasons to run her instead of, or WITH xingqiu. as long as she doesn't get any more nerfs, i'm stoked

  18. Just did the math and my Yelan will have 90-ish crit rate and 175 Crit damage.

As well as 25 HP (will be more, didn’t add her weapons added hp boost)

I’m soooo hyped for her!!! Can’t wait.

  19. nah man, thrilling tales is attack %, this is total damage percent multiplier.
hmm C1 would be for battery, assuming she won't generate much energy so more valuable in a 4 different elements team for that passive. C2 would trigger once every 3 hits because it would start cool down when it hits, meaning it will finish CD just before the 3rd hit so just under 5% added HP scaling on average. C4 would buff Hu Tao in a reverse vape team with like a big single target that has smaller targets around it for Hu Tao's single target an Yelan's AOE, this woul incccrease their synergy. C6 yep that's nuts, whales be happy.
