Same old question but different topic – is Yelan better than Xingqiu? Well, no one can answer this question just yet AND on top of this – why not both? Why must we always compare the characters between each other? Anyway… let me compare the two characters against each other and then talk about some of the things that I am excited about. Mainly, the possible Yelan build that I am thinking of right now and some of the best Yelan teams I expect to see once Genshin Impact 2.7 update arrives.
I also briefly mention Genshin Impact 2.7 banners Xiao and Yelan, discuss whether Xiao is worth it or Yelan is worth it and then also quickly cover some stuff about Kuki (Sorry! Gonna talk about her more in next vid!)

Im definitely pulling yelan for yanfei so i can do vape combo. There is no one that can give enough elemental app for catalysts
Well she is not a 5 star Xq, since her hydro application is lower than Xq, for Hu Tao vape teamsshe is not viable, this team willstill need Xq.
I just really hope Yelan won't be a Xingqiu replacement.

Thanks for the video! I plan to pull for Yelan myself. I want to use her in a double hydro Hu Tao comp, I want to see all the projectiles flying around each time I use NA! ^^

yelan biggest selling point is gonna be her armpit no cap.
I see no reason to pull for her. If a 4* can do the main things a 5* can do, then I see no reason to pull for the 5*. Their design would have to be really good. I don't like hers at all.
Tbh I dont care and never built Xingqiu bc I dont like his design so idk if Yelan is the same or not, I will pull ofr her bc she looks cool
The way English dub pronounces Yalen is not even close to correct.
I feel like xiao has way better dps than yelan's projected dps , but then again it's comparing apples to oranges
Tbh i have the feeling that it depends on what u build bc i have the feeling yelan has better raw damage but xinqui prob has better damage with buffs bc he can benefit from bennett sara and mona wich yelan doesnt can and i think she isnt a must pull especialy bc her banner isnt that great but shes still good

The problem with the “5 star Xingqiu” accusations is that I never saw people calling Itto “5 star Noelle”. It’s exactly the same case- same/similar burst, different skill, slightly different scaling.
5 star xingqiu… hahahahaha sound similar to the comments of "5 star sucrose" and now everyone is crying for a re-run anyway I can wait to summon her

Stop with the Xinqui & Yelan builds. Xinqui literally cucks her of free HP increase. Just build her with Yun Jin which also has a 4-different element type buff and normal attack buff, a pyro carry, most likely Yoi or Hu Tao, who has normal attack value and then the 3rd spot you can fill with a character that isn't Geo, Pyro or Hydro and you've got an OP sub DPS. If you want more dmg towards your pyro character, you can add a 2nd pyro character for the resonance buff.
